UNESCO world heritage place champaner is gem for one who are archeology and history enthusiasts. It is around 2hr from vadodara.Bus route is comfortable and feasible.Bus drops you at pavagadh bus stop. The entry to fort of champaner is just opp bus stop.Various masjids are spread across champaner, there architecture will astonish you with story of evolvement in different era and dynasty. Travelling within from one masjid to other can be little tiering if you are dependent on public transport or autos. You can also visit virasat van ,kabutarakhana with serene view of lake.
If you wish to visit pavagadh godess temple you should reach early in morning as climbing and coming down can take around 5 hours.

Gem of a place! Small UNESCO protected site but the architecture will blow you away. It's a mix of traditional Indian style mixed with Islamic size. A photographer's delight

Nice and good place. Religious place of goddess mahakali. It is very good place to go with children and family. The temple is very good and quite visitors place. You have to climb 3000 steps to have a pretty view of goddess mahakali. Those who can't climb the mountain from stairs are availed with rope way to have a scene of temple without climbing the mountain by your own legs. The morning and evening view of temple from down to the mountain is quite pretty. I must suggest to must go once in your life.

This place was full of experiences. First of all, people know this place as Pavagarh Kaali maata Mandir. There are 3 different sites- 2 masjids and 1 temple. Mashids are easilybaccessible by cab and cost just 40 bucks to enter for Indians. The mandir is another story. If you are in a small car, you must take the shared jeep going up and down. It's cheap but crowded. You can definitely hire a jeep by yourself. We paid 500 bucks for a jeep. Then you take the cable car(what they say as ropeway) up and down the landing spot. And then, finally, about 10-15 minute sof walk, about 250 steps up, and then a beautiful temple. It stands out on a clear blue sky and mild breeze. Was an ecstatic view, completely worth the effort. If you are religious, l, that's a cherry on the top as you get to do Darshan.

Oh, and I forgot, there are langoors / monkeys almost everywhere. Be careful with your stuff and shades and everything.

The entire archeological park is filled with some grand and some small but beautiful structures. Most of them are ruins of masjids but they have been maintained quite well. Jami and Shehar Masjid are the highlights as they are closest to the town and also the grandest. The other points of interest are Kevada, Nagina and Kamani Masjids and Badatalav. It takes 2-3 hours to do all of them because they are spread across 4-5 kilometers. Try to visit in the morning or late evening to avoid the heat and the crowd. All the sites are located at the foothills of Pavagadh temples and hence roads can get extremely crowded with devotees on certain days.

The fort is quite good! You can visit this after darshan from Pavagad. Here you can spend lot of time watching forts and masjid can click some pictures. Here there is an entry ticket which you have to buy to watch all these forts which costs around 50/- per person at time I’ve gone. Now maybe the price might get varied. But it is worth to watch. Time just flies away to complete the day!Have fun!☺
