I recently went trekking on Pavagadh and it was an unforgettable experience. The trail offered breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, with lush greenery and stunning rock formations. The trek was challenging but rewarding, and I felt a sense of accomplishment when I reached the summit. The historical significance of Pavagadh added to the charm of the trek, with ancient temples and ruins along the way. I highly recommend this trek to anyone looking for adventure and natural beauty.

One of the best place I visited in my 7day Gujarat trip. It is present in Champaner which is well known for archeological site almost 50km from Vadodara, but I loved this place more. Kalika Mata temple is present on top of hill, you can reach there either by walk or by ropeway. We preferred ropeway journey as I come with my 11 months kid. Very pleasant weather on top and many other small jain temples are also there. Many food and shopping options are available near temple. You can spend very good time with Family.

I visited Pavagadh Hill on Sunday morning so it was a little crowded. I suggest booking tickets of roop way online so you won't have to wait in line, the ticket price is 120 per head. Otherwise you can climb through steps also. There are a total of 1800 steps with shops on both sides You can also munch there. The view from the hills is very good and it has very pleasant weather to be in. Recommended to visit early in the morning so you will avoid the sun at noon. The bus facility is there to drop you will the roop way starts.

Always buy tickets from online so you can avoid ticket que there. And always select ordinary working day. Best timings are early mornings 7 to 8 am. Otherwise the waiting is too large at ropway to and fro both..

It is very nice temple for visit .There is the history behind this temple.The temple on Pavagadh hill is believed to be the place where Sati's right toe fell. It is dedicated to Goddess Kalika, an incarnation of the Divine Overall it is very good place.

Feelings fantastic and also blessed by visiting Shree kalika Mataji Temple.

No car allowed from champaner. To manchi.
Only government St bus allowed on hill.
Very crush during holidays and weekends.
Go early morning for easy and less crush.
Keep food from home as many hotels destroyed.
Byke, Car parking available very far from manchi during holidays. No private vihicle allowed near pavagadh.
Need to go into auto.

One of the Best place to explore near vadodara, easy to reach, make sure you have proper time, sometimes it is so crowded, gonna enjoy journey till temple it's way too long to reach if you choose steps to reach for rope way it 150 for two way and 120 for one way...nice and had good darshan of goddess mahakali..must visit place...Jay Mataji

The place and the temple developed very nicely.😍😍😍. .. Great view. Peaceful place.Easy Darshan(you don't have to wait).The only problem is in season or weekend days the Ropeway(udan khatola) crowd is very much high(45 mins to 1 hour in line in return). But worth it.

Very nice place. It was renovated and inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi. Before that there was no shikhar of the temple and after the renovated the shikar was made and flag was unflured after years. There were clouds touching the hill.

Mesmerizing Place for 1 day trip. Nature is wonderful, greenery all around. Visit during weekdays. Must visit for people staying nearby Vadodara.

History: It is said that king Vanraj Chavda established Champaner at the foot of Pavagadh in fond memory of his wise minister Champa. Later, the Patai Raval family ruled it and took care of the boundary. The folk tales say that Mahakali assumed the form of a woman and danced in a Garba during Navaratri. The last Patai, Jaisinh watched her with dirty looks. The deity became angry at Jaisinh and cursed him that the town will fall. The Muslim emperor of Gujarat, Mahmud Begada assaulted Pavagadh and won the hill on the boundary in the 15th century.

We had a good experience. A chance to see nature up close has been obtained.This is the benefit of the darshan of Mahakali Mataji

A must visit place in gujarat. Very popular for its height and the location. On the top of the mountain, there is a great temple of MAA KAALI ⚛. In 20years , it has changed very much , Narendra Modi did every possible attempt to renovate it , and the work is still in progress .
Many pilgrims come here and visit the MAA KAALI temple .
I also went there tomorrow with my sister , the journey was full of enjoyment .
When we reached pavagarh , many buses were there for 'MAACHI' name of mountain up there. Roapway was full of crowd, we decided to go for temple by stair , the mountain contain approx 2100 stair ,full of width. On the top of the mountain , the view is hypnotizing .
I suggest you this place to visit once in your life , and please try stairs instead of roapway .

Travel to Gujarat One of the busiest tourist attractions and spiritual sites,
this mountain is also a popular destination for pilgrims to walk and step to.
Although vehicles and buses are permitted on the other half of the mountain,
many people prefer to step the entire mountain by foot because it symbolises faith in God.
This location has a village called Machi, and GSRTC buses run there as well.
The mountain has 1800 steps,
and the village's ropeway and temple open to devotees at 6:00 AM,
so the best time to climb it is before that time so you can see the beautiful sunrise. The mountain also has two different lakes. But because of improper cleaning, business for transporting food, drink, and other items by animals, and inadequate cleaning of this two lake, the entire mountain was polluted with plastic and other items. This caused a foul smell to extend to the summit of the mountain. This mountain has a lovely temple dedicated to the goddess Mahakali, whose shape is similar to that of the Somnath temple. The goddess Mahakali temple was particularly lovely when it featured colourful lighting. When you reach the summit of this mountain, you may observe a serpentine road, lakes, and other picturesque views.

Best scenes (Valley and Lake) are visible only from the top of hill. Rope way is available to reach top of hill. Monsoon and postmonsoon is best time to visit but there is heavy rush on Sunday.
