Amazing church in Small village setup. Kudoos to the local people and the diocesan priests behind its architecture. Late Rev Fr. George Vadakkedam rests here, in his native parish. He was an extra ordinary visionary priest of the Archdiocese of Changanachery. He constructed various Churches in almost impossible places in this diocese. He lived a quite long period of time in Ariyad Cherupushpa Daivalayam as parish priest. In his memory a beautiful new parish hall has constructed over there. In the history of Thayankary Rev Fr. George vadakedam will be remembered as a champion and a pro-revolutionary architect of Churches in poor areas where no priests did like to stay and work.
