Aqua Palace

Lovely lovely stay. The staff is extremely warm, caring, polite and welcoming. they are attentive to all your needs. We felt at home. The food was delicious and light, home cooked traditional dishes that weren't excessively oily. The rooms are clean and well furnished. I would definitely recommend this stay to anyone, you won't regret it.

Absolutely excellent backwaters stay, especially for the price. We had three people there (backpacking travelers) for 3 nights and were very comfortable and well taken care of. Gorgeous view from the balcony, very nice shower. The home cooked meals were good (especially the Karimeen pollichattu), the hosts were always available to make tea or give advice on transit around the backwaters. Would recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the most enchanting river-side home stay, and it was an experience we will cherish forever. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the natural beauty that surrounded the property, making it an ideal getaway for nature lovers.The location was simply breathtaking, nestled amidst lush greenery and embraced by the gentle flow of the river. The serene ambiance offered a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It was a true haven of tranquility, where I could unwind and recharge.

Me and 7 of my friends stayed there for 2 days. The Place is located directly in front of the river and from the balcony you have a beautiful view on the house boats how are floating by. The cook of palace itself cooks excellent food. I felt very welcomed and all the people seemed very competent. The manager of the place helped me with calling taxis, gave me Locations and time for boats and even called the food place we went to, to pick us up from the boat dock. I enjoyed it very much staying there.

I visited this property with my extended family and we had the best time. The stay was amazing and the food cooked by the whole team was fantastic. The location is unique and right on the waterfront. Mony was very helpful right from the beginning including taking me to fetch food for all of us. Overall I had a good time and I would visit again possibly in the appropriate season as we went during a time when it was too hot.

The stay was extremely peaceful and perfect get away from the city life. The staffs were always ready to help and provide the insight of the local markets.
The food was excellent, they happily prepared anything we say (traditional kerala cuisines were amazing).
Kids enjoyed.
They even provided boats upon request.

What a great experience! This place is out of the way, right on the water, peaceful and just the atmosphere we were looking for on our visit back from the US. Shibu and Reggie asked us what we wanted to eat in advance and hand made every dish. My Mom is from Allappuzha and is very particular about the food. She was impressed and that’s saying something! They arranged for us to spend a day on a house boat and the boat picked us up right at our front step! We will definitely be going back!

It was a great experience there.
I would like to come again and I will recommend this to my friends.❤

Lovely place, had a wonderful experience staying here at aqua palace. Traditional wooden rooms right beside backwaters of river pamba is an amazing stay. The food was authentic and delicious(especially egg curry). All thanks to hosts Moni and Biju for providing such great hospitality.

We (2 adults + a 4 year old) just spent 4 nights at Aqua palace and it was an amazing experience! We stayed upstairs and enjoyed the great view and the outdoors bathroom. Aqua palace has a menu but we let Moni and Biju decide what we should eat so we could try all local specialities. All the food was fantastic - prawns, clams, all the variety of fish and chicken accompanied by all types of breads, rice and Kerala noodles. The hospitality by Biju and Moni is also incredible - everything we needed was immediately arranged. Biju was even kind enough to take us in his car to Alleppy so we could see the beach and our son enjoy the amusement park. The family that stays on the property were also the sweetest - always up for a chat and let our son borrow toys to play with.
My favourite part of our stay was when Biju helped us take the local boat a few stops and back - such a lovely way to experience the backwaters in addition to the 3 hour boat tour we also did.

Its a really Beautiful, quiet and peaceful location. All my family members enjoyed the stay, the homely food and excellent
view. The Rooms were clean and the Bathrooms were modern.
We didn't had even a single complaint during our stay. The resort owners and staff were soo courteous. You will definite like to have them as your family friends. So I sincerely recommend you to take your family on a vacation to this resort.

We recently stayed there for 2 days as a family of 10. The property has 4 rooms and we had it to ourselves during our stay. The location is really great - waking up and watching the river traffic slowly pickup at sunrise to the houseboats going to their anchoring places at sunset - it is a constant treat to your eyes. The hosts, Mr. Biju and Mr. Moni (Monichettan), was awesome. We had great food for every meal; what was really surprising is that we got 5 upperis (dry vegetable sabji) along with our fish curry meals! We had a bunch of kids with us who were fussy eaters and Monichettan accommodated all their demands. They will ask you for your food orders in advance to ensure that they can procure what you ask for. They helped arrange a boat ride for us, which gave us a good sense of the lives of the people around the place. We had a really good time overall. The last stretch of the access road is a bit narrow - Monichettan guided us through that section since we rode an Innova. The upstairs rooms have open bathrooms - if you are not comfortable with that, you might want to indicate your preference.

This place is just all you want to be when in Allepy. Amazing hospitality and warm families to greet you around. This place felt like home . They ensure they cater all your requirements.The homely food preparation by our host Moni Chetan is to die for.
Truly recommended to all people looking for a stay in Allepy.

Our stay at Aqua Palace was pure joy! From the moment you see the backwaters you will be in awe of its beauty. My family was well taken care by Biju and Moni. We had a comfortable stay at Aqua Palace, the place was very clean and the food was great, the open roof bathroom upstairs was a unique experience (a must try!). We had a very relaxed vacation and my two year old enjoyed looking at the house boats that pass by every few minutes. Aqua Palace is located right next to the Pamba river and across Manimalayar river and the boat trip they arranged for us was perfect - we got a chance to see and experience everyday life at the kayal.
Honestly I didn't feel like coming back! All thanks to Biju and Moni :)

Wonderful place to stay at a great location -- a little too much in the interior but it made our stay very peaceful and away from the noises of the city. The house is right on the backwaters with a lovely view and we were able to go swimming in the mornings. The rooms are well kept, built completely in wood, keeping them cool throughout the day. The house has a wonderful old tharavadu feel. One of the next features is the bathroom upstairs, where the shower is open to the sky above -- it was wonderful to see the stars at night!
The hosts are very accommodating to all demands -- they arranged boat tours for us and gave good recommendations. All the food provided was very good although a little too spicy. They have an extensive menu for seafood + duck and other meats and make the meals in the house.
The only downside is that it is a little far away from the main road and the road to get to the place is very narrow and rocky, so it is difficult to travel back to the town for anything, though you can walk to the town of Nedumudi. But it was very peaceful to be away.

We had a very good stay there. Rooms and washrooms were neat and clean . Caretaker Moni was very friendly and the food he cooks is amazing. Excellent getaway place !
