Tranquil Heritage Home Stay

Nested along the backwaters of Kuttanad we had a great time with our family at Tranquil Heritage inspite of torrential rains that kept us indoors all time. The hosts were friendly, generous and took good care of every aspect of our stay. The rooms were beautifully laden with expert woodwork that definitely makes the stay a heritage stay. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and well ventilated. A lavish Verandah that overlooks the backwaters is the cherry-on-top! Ria and Joe (hosts) gave us great company in the mornings and always looked out to provide assistance at all times and were always a beck away , infact they were next door. The breakfast spread was homely. The freshly pressed Mango juice in the morning stole our hearts, not to mention the soft bread toasts and hot appams! We would choose to come back sometime when in Kuttanad!

Very nice place right next to a canal with beautiful views. The rooms are spacious, modern and very clean. The highlight was definitly the outside bathroom. An top, the staff is extremely kind and helpful.

Wonderful host. The stay is lovely and blissful. Location is the best, right opp to backwater and boathouse can also pick you up right there. Very Spacious rooms with amazing view. You can relax outside watching the backwaters. Tasty and Homely food, hosts was very kind and took care of us. Also helped us with local transport and tourist sightseeing

Clean and modern rooms surrounded by nature. We had a fantastic stay here with peaceful walks and a paddle down the river. Great place to admire birds!

I wish we could stay longer! Our room was wonderful, the bathroom beautiful and everything was very clean.
The hosts are such lovely people - they gave us a warm welcome and were very helpful.
The Wi-Fi was good too.

Absolutely stunning location. One of the most beautiful places I have ever had the privilege of visiting. I recommend this beautiful home stay. Rooms have air con, and fans on the porch and in the room.

An amazing place to relax and rejuvenate.
The property is the definition of a heritage home and the experience has been brilliant accompanied by a very accomodating host.
The view from the property is breathtaking as the property is on the banks of the Manimala river facing the west side. One cannot get enough of the beautiful sunsets while enjoying the tranquil beauty of the place. An apt name for the property.

Beautiful view of the river and peaceful. The gardens were pristine. The room was perfect with an outdoor shower room. Would recommend.

Serinic location and excellent stay. Warm and welcoming guest experience that will never forget and extremely good customer service from the Team. Sunrise was beautiful and the lake view scenes are amazing. Food is another highlight and authentic taste. Would highly recommend.

Tranquil Heritage Homestay is a neat and well kept homestay on the banks of Manimala River with a very good view.
