Erappu waterfalls (Oliyariku waterfalls)

Wah. In Kollam district’s Anchal village is a little-known waterfall known as ‘Erappu’ – it means "noise" in Malayalam, for the waterfall's roaring sound.  Also referred to as Oliyariku waterfalls, travellers are attracted to it despite being much smaller than the others in Kollam, for its peaceful atmosphere. What’s more, Erappu doesn’t dry up even in the summers. A large banyan tree towers over the waterfalls, its roots appearing among the misty sprays of the falls like billowing locks of hair. The waterfalls have an eerie beauty, shrouded in lore and mystery, the dense vegetation nearby adding to the ambience.

Good atmosphere no rush cool water

It is an excellent place to spent 2 to 3 hours . A nice water fall near Punalur which is easily accessible. Lack of infrastructure may be a concern but still the place worth a visit , especially if you are in and around that place.

Its not a tourist place. Be careful while step into the falls. No proper signs of danger. but its a beautiful falls with three layers. Water is not pure so bathing not recommended

Spectacular Water fall. Water falls from about 100 feet Height, through 3 layers of rock. Situated in a beautiful village blessed by nature.

Located around Anchal in Kollam district, it can easily be described as Kerala's Kuttalam waterfalls. The waterfalls is not explored by many and hence not well developed. One can experience a micro trekking here. And bath under the falls is a fabulous experience. The water under the falls is only 3.5 feet deep. So you can take a dip here without the fear of drowning. Worth visiting.

Family outing spot...safe waters...beware of slippery surfaces when taking a stroll in the water...locals advised to be wary of snakes after 7 pm on the way out....

Very silent place. Less rush..
Travelling is little bit tough.
But it is super place to take bath in water falls. Visit before 5 pm.

This is like 10km far away from Pinnacle View Point Chettukuzhy.

You can't find the waterfall easily,
From the road you have to a walk a little bit inside .

At first you may think it is a small stream but keep walking and you can find this place.

Those who visit here be careful while climbing down , Also the rocks are too slippery.

Very nice place if you want to be close to nature. You can enjoy the waterfalls along with the chirping of birds, and sounds of different insects .....
and the smell of fresh water, fresh air, wet trees and plants.
It's absolutely fabulous.

It's Really a hidden falls and not that popular. But it's a really vibefull place for visiting. U can also bathe in here.
