Grandma's Cafe

Small and cozy place to be in, most people don't even observe it to be there and proceed further. The kitchen staff & the server were pretty amazing people and knew how to give the best to customer.
We all liked everything we ordered.

We went to this restaurant for lunch because it was recommended by our driver.

None of the rice items were available. So we ended up having appam and porotta along with beef roast, beef fry and chicken kondattam.

All the dishes were excellent. We were the only customers in the restaurant at that time. It was a relatively small place. There were some nice graffiti on the walls.

The service wasn't fast but the servers were quite polite and helpful.

I would definitely try out their other dishes in season if I visited again in season.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant grandmas cafe in thekkady. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing, everything we tasted melted in our mouths. Absolutely the best meal for lunch and dinner we had while in grandmas . The ambience and vibe they provide is really great.Highly recommend this place ❤

Best meal we have had in Thekkady. We ordered chicken curry, mushroom ularthiyathu, kappa beef, chicken kondattam, appam, and parantha. There is nice outdoor seating downstairs.

Exceptionally great food in Thekkady. We had North Indian dishes and Chinese here.
The place has a great vibe, and the restaurant host is quite a chill guy.

We had a great time here as a family. Highly recommended for bachelors.

Best Paneer kedai I had during my time in India 🤩 and I tried it in many places already. Along with some parotta and Apam and some mango and cardamom lassi (not on the menu but you can request it ;) )- just amazing. If we didn’t leave tomorrow we would definitely come back. Definitely deserving five stars

Went here on an impulse and did not disappoint. Rather looking to go again for their very soft and flaky Parota and their speciality - Chicken Kondatam. Medium spicy semi gravy chicken in the traditional taste with a twist of tomato sauce bordering on indo chinese. We asked 2 plates of it! Ranju is so jovial warm and welcoming of his guests and Tibin has a cheerful attitude. Its quite niche cute and mainly really good food. And amazing sweet and salt lime juice and pineapple juice!

Good food, cheap prices and excellent music. 10 out of 5 because of Vasco Rossi playing in the background, last singer I expected to hear in India...

Delicious food and great atmosphere. We had Christmas lunch in the sunshine and enjoyed every mouthful. I hear you can get a nice cuppa tea here as well...

Best for food in kumily thekkady. Both non veg and veg is good. Food is cooked live and served fresh and hot. There is usually a wait here always and you have to wait to get tasty food. Staff is good and happy to help. I had kerela parata and dingri here both was damm tasty..
