The food provided here is simply awesome, I really enjoyed the food. Service also is too good, they take good care of customers, we had our breakfast here and we enjoyed every food item we ordered. Especially their signature tea it's worth the try.

We had Appam & Iddiyapam and the taste was really good

Writing this review after a month. The restaurant was buzzing with guests. They keep cleaning the tables and floor. We enjoyed a scrumptious meal of karimeen pollichath, dal fry, jeera rice , papads and butter naan. Service was quick. Food was hot and delicious. Waiter recommended payasam which was good. Ambience is good. Staff is courteous. Would love to visit again.

Great service and amazing food. Hidhayadh gave us great service & recommended good Kerala dishes that we & my family loved it. Definitely would recommend this restaurant.

The restaurant offered an excellent dining experience with a wide variety of food options. We wanted Western-style cuisine and non-spicy Indian dishes, and our server, Hidhayat, was extremely courteous and helpful in customizing our meals. We thoroughly enjoyed every bite of our food, thanks to Hidhayat's exceptional service.

Amazing food, that is all i can say. We went here for lunch that day we reached thekkady. There was a lot of wait time, we had to wait for atleast 20 to 25 minutes before we got place. But trust me it was worth waiting. The food here was amazing, we order a veg meal, chicken, Kerala paratha, etc. The service took some time but that was expected looking at the crowd, there is no a/C here. There is enough parking space available for 8 to 10 cars.

Highly recommend Periyar Tiger Cafe

Good ambience and quite occupied at times. Really good restuarant in thekaddy but worth a visit even if your not there. We went for lunch and the staff was super friendly with good recommendations just in case if we’re unsure about ordering Kerala taste to try.
Parotta with Kerala Nadan Chicken curry is the best combination to try. And of course alfham chicken with mayonnaise is also delicious to try.

Everyone in this place is warm and welcoming and happy to explain to foreigners. place popular with locals too which is a good sign
