Parakkat Spice Merchant Restaurant - Munnar

Food: I don’t have a single complaint, all the dishes we had were so delicious! We had lunch here two times, the first day there was a buffet and second day we had to order. There were so many vegetarian and non-vegetarian options! After the main course, we were offered desert items as well. On the second day, we ordered Beef Fry (5/5), Parotta (5/5), Nadan Chicken Curry (5/5), Chicken 65 (5/5) and Chicken Fried Rice (5/5). We had Beef Fry during the buffet lunch and everyone loved it so we ordered it the second day as well. Definitely a must have item with parotta. We ordered 10 parotta for 8 people which was perfect as we ordered other items too (parotta portions are relatively large). Chicken Curry was also a great option with parotta. Chicken 65 went perfectly with parotta and fried rice! It was garnished really well. We only ordered two portions of Chicken Fried Rice but ended up ordering more because it was tooooo good!!!!! Definitely another must have dish. All the portions are relatively large so it’s suggested that you order a few items and order more as needed.

Service (5/5): The service was really good! We were assisted by Murugan. He suggested really good dishes and we enjoyed everything we had!

Overall, we had a great experience at Parakkat! If you are in the area, definitely give it a try - they won’t fail to impress!

If you want to enjoy your meal with a breathtaking view of the tea estate mountains and the valley, then this is the go to place.

The food was also awesome, they even serve phulka (rare in this area) and not expensive at all, so I would definitely recommend this place, if you are in Munnar (towards cochin side)

We really enjoyed our dinner here! Our server Morgan offered us some off-menu Kerala specialties that were amazing, especially the beef roast! We wanted to know more about the spices in the dishes so Santosh, the chef, came out to explain the cooking process. He spent a while with us answering all our questions. Food was yummy and service was great! View of the tea fields is great too.

We recently dined multiples times at Parakkat restaurant and had an exceptional experience. Murugan, was incredibly helpful, providing excellent assistance throughout our meal. We as a group of 20 went to dinner and we celebrated a birthday and Mr Murugan made sure we had a good time. And Chicken tikka was good.

Parakkat resort is one of my favourite places; I enjoy the atmosphere, the natural surroundings, and, most importantly, the food. I ordered a variety of food items, which they delivered in 20 minutes and were delicious. Certainly the next time I visit with my family.

I visited the restaurant on 11st December 2022. The resorts space was packed with a lot of tourists both in and out of india. The restaurant ambiance was so good with delicious variety of menu items. We ordered the famous sea food platter that had good quantity. The food and the restaurant ambiance filled our stomach and soul giving the best ever experience. Do yourself a favor and visit Parakkat Spice Merchant Restaurant at Munnar. [Parakkat Nature Resorts] I have to tell you guys that i just enjoyed each bite of the meal i had. For me it was a wooww!! moment. The way they present each dishes were mesmerising!! All the variant’s were absolutely yumm!! From starters to the dessert, the quality and taste was outstanding.Their menu is extensive and seasonal to a particularly high standard. Considering the quality of food the prices are very reasonable. Another highlight was the service, it was beyond words. Each staff truly cares about your experience. They were very kind and professional too. Without any doubt I will highly recommend Parakkat Spice Merchant Restaurant to all foodiiiees!!! Good food with Good Ambience.♥

It was a good experience staying at parakkat natural resort. I really enjoyed it. All the staffs and other members were so friendly. It was a great place for family, friends and couples. So i really suggest this place for your vacation.
