COMO Castello Del Nero

I loved staying here! The setting and views are really magical, in the middle of an olive tree farm. Tuscany is such an elegant and tasteful place all year round. I also really loved the Michelin star restaurant - the food was absolutely delicious! Can’t wait to come back!

Excellent, a true 5-star hotel. Beautiful grounds and facilities. Above and beyond service, both friendly and efficient. Rooms are simple, in keeping with the age of the estate, with some thin walls in certain areas, but are well serviced/maintained and include all modern amenities. Perfect base for trips to neighbouring Florence and Siena. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel while in Tuscany in April 2023. The staff was very friendly, kind and helpful. It was our favorite breakfast on our entire 2 week trip and our Hostess was extraordinary. Eva gave me the best massage I have ever had at their spa.

Just stayed here with my husband and have no words. We’ve stayed at some of the nicest hotels before and this one absolutely blew us away. The service is impeccable, everyone was warm, personable, knowledgeable and seemed happy to work there. They went above and beyond to meet every request. The grounds are spectacular and the views are other worldly. HIGHLY recommend the hot air balloon for an unforgettable experience and taking e bikes around the area is breathtaking. This was truly one of the most special trips (and we were only there for 2 days) and it was because of this amazing hotel. Shoutout to Gabrielle on wait staff, Ines at reception, and Miro who were exceptional!!

My wife and I traveled to Italy for 5 weeks on our 40th wedding anniversary. We stayed here for 4 nights, and had a great experience. This has been the best place we have stayed on our trip. Staff and services are top notch for sure.

We would have to say this is the most beautiful hotel we have stayed! Service is impeccable, friendliness and attentiveness is top notch. The scenery is surreal! Loved our time here and didn't want it to end! Photos do not do it justice! We were here for an amazing wedding with best of friends!

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Como Castello del Nero in Tuscany, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere for both of us. The hotel's picturesque grounds offered breathtaking views in every direction, enhancing the romantic charm of our stay. The attentive staff went above and beyond, even surprising us by polishing our muddy shoes after a stroll through the fields. The spa provided a perfect sanctuary on a rainy day, with invigorating couples' massages and a relaxing hot tub. Dining at La Torre was a true culinary journey, with its Michelin-starred excellence adding an extra touch of romance to our evenings. The reluctance to depart was strong, thanks in part to the stunning suite featuring an outdoor terrace where my wife and I could enjoy intimate moments together. Como Castello del Nero truly delivered an unforgettable retreat for both of us, exceeding all expectations and creating cherished memories.

Another lovely stay. We loved our room in the main building, the food in the Michelin star restaurant was incredible (it should really have two Michelin stars), the breakfast was plentiful as ever, the massages were unbelievable - and big shout out to Alberto for his hospitality, cheerfulness and suggestions!

So relaxing! We came here towards the end of our trip after just being in Florence for 4 nights and I don't know what we were expecting but this exceeded all expectations. The hotel is amazing, the grounds are amazing, the staff is so kind and helpful, the rooms were huge and gorgeous and the spa was phenomenal. Definitely stay here if you get the chance!

40 min drive from the center of Florence. Peaceful place with a perfect view, clean rooms and professional, friendly staffs. Definitely coming back and would recommend this place to others.

Wonderful experience at the Castello. It is one of those resorts where you don’t need to leave, and if you are looking for tranquility and ease it is the right spot. We enjoyed the truffle hunt and truffle lunch following the most - the hunter and dogs were a riot. The meal at La Torre was out of this world.

What a beautiful property. The staff where very attentive. Grounds where beautiful. The rooms tastefully decorated. I highly recommend Como properties.

A spectacular property surrounded by acres of vineyards and olive trees. The staff is very friendly, professional and knowledgeable - Eva at the front desk was extremely helpful during check-in and check-out and gave us a full tour of the property. The spa has all the amenities (water therapy pools, steam rooms, tropical showers...) and the massages were great. Breakfast buffet at the terrace overlooking the Chianti countryside is priceless. Dinner at the casual restaurant (same location as breakfast) was very good. Miro, Maitre D, was great and was very attentive. Always going the extra mile to make sure that we had a joyful experience. Food and service at La Torre restaurant (Michelin star) was spectacular. Chef Di Pirro is amazing and at the end of the service visited each table to ascertain that we had a pleasant experience. Highly recommend!

Can’t say enough good things about COMO Castello Del Nero. We had been scheduled to stay at another property in the region which we heard several negative things about and decided on a last minute switch to COMO. I could not have been happier with that decision. COMO as a property is stunning overlooking the Tuscan hills. The service was attentive without being heavy handed and always with a warm smile. Loved our stay at COMO and we will be back.

My wife and I stayed at this property on our honeymoon. We had to make a last minute pivot due to a poor experience at a neighboring hotel. This hotel was beautiful but it was the staff that truly made it exceptional. The general manager, check in staff, bartender, restaurant staff were all exceptional. There truly was not a single person on property that was not fantastic at their job and made guests feel welcomed. You can tell they are happy to be there. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family.

The food at La Terre was excellent! The dishes are perfectly balanced and the waiters were very nice. We had the meat menu.
Definitely recommended!
We would love to come back in Summer and enjoy our dinner outside.

This is probably the best resort we have ever stayed at and now we want to try more COMO properties. The staff is so nice and helpful, and where able to help us with any small random request we might have. The attention to detail at this resort was very clear from the start and we could not find one complaint in our two day stay. The Michelin star restaurant on site is top notch and a must try. The hotel even recommended great wine tastings and places to eat in the local village.
The price tag is high, but honestly I thought we got a steal for the price. We will be back!

Great place, fantastic staff at the reception! Location is great to discover Chianti Classico and other major Tuscan attractions

This hotel opened in 2019 by the COMO hotel group. This is our first visit here, but we have previously stayed at four other COMO hotels which were all very good. Our suite had a small private garden near the pool and was very nice. The room itself was very plain with white walls and nothing on the walls. As with a lot of new hotels there were silly things like the location of the TV where it could not be viewed from the seating area. Overall we had a very good stay with very attentive service. When we arrived in our car there was someone waiting to welcome us and unload the luggage and take us into reception. All in all our experience is very good and in line with other COMO hotels we have stayed at previous
