Hotel Reginella

Pristine hotel with beautiful views and excellent service from staff. Breakfast delivered to the room at a time of your choosing was a wonderful added touch. The views and quiet cannot be beaten. It’s expensive, but worth it to have quiet & peaceful experience of this paradise.

If this place was anywhere other than Positano, it would be $150 a night. However, it’s extremely clean. It’s in the literal perfect location. We had a group trip and we spent the extra money to stay on our own in Positano while they stayed in Priano and it made a world of a difference. It’s worth every penny to stay at a location as good as Hotel Reginella. Spend the money you won’t regret it! Having access to all the amazing food and beaches steps (a lot do steps) from your hotel is awesome.

Hotel staff was super helpful. The breakfast was very tasty. Waking up to that view is unforgettable!!!!

Honestly, we LOVED this hotel. It was super close to the downtown area of Positano - a short walk down the hill - or if you want there is a quicker route down the stairs, which wasn't too bad.

Pricing was awesome in comparison to other hotels and we thought it was absolutely amazing. The staff was super friendly, helpful, from giving recommendations, to helping set up car transfers. We can't say enough good things about this hotel, and can't wait to go back the next time we're in Positano.

We stayed here 10/3/23-10/5/23. For the money, I don't think you will find a better hotel in Positano. The staff was always extraordinarily helpful--e.g., they stowed our bags for six hours after we checked out and sent them to a porter just before we left. The room was very nice, with a view of the water and enough soundproofing to block out the crowds below. We would happily stay here again.

If you want an intimate boutique hotel with exceptional service in a great location then look no further.

The staff are so warm, friendly (ilaria at front desk is amazing!) and helpful and will make you feel so incredibly welcome. There are shops and restaurants all in walking distance and you are about 15min walk to the beach (downhill).

The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need! However the views (if you have booked a sea view room) are just majestic. Views of incredible yachts and just the hustle and bustle of Positano…but you don’t lose any of the tranquility . Superb!!!!

Positano itself is beautiful (but very pricey compared to say Sorrento). Also, there is a lot of elevation walking so please be prepared.

I loved every moment at Hotel Reginella. The view is amazing. All pictures of the rooms are accurate. Everyone we met working at the hotel was friendly and helpful. They offer 24 hour conceiage and each night you can chose what you want for breakfast from their menu and what time for them to bring it to your room. Breakfast on our balcony was my favourite time of day. It was walking distance to beaches, resturants, and shopping. The hotel also provided very clear instructions for a smooth way up to the hotel avoiding the stairs. Would stay here again!

This hotel has been amazing for my wife and I celebrating our honeymoon. Location is perfect - right above the craziness of Positano, but not to far up at all. Service is nothing short of excellent. Everyone on staff is friendly, helpful, and timely. Highly recommend! Also the view is the best we’ve had in town and breakfast on the balcony is amazing

This is one of the best affordable hotels in Positano. The room was great. You have a personal spacious terrace where you can enjoy your breakfast or drink with an amazing view. The service is excellent, the rooms are clean and it has a wonderful view of the mountain with a house and the endless sea. I highly recommend this hotel!!

Our stay at Hotel Reginella was unforgettable! The hospitality from arrival up until departure was top notch. Prior to arriving, we had a connecting flight cancelled and while we were juggling alternate flight/train options, the staff helped stay in touch and coordinate a new pickup with the car service we scheduled to bring us from Naples to Positano. The hotel itself is gorgeous and is in the perfect location to enjoy great views of Positano yet still be walkable to the shops, restaurants and beaches. Breakfast each morning was delicious and delivered to our room. We also made great use of the small bar they offer in their lobby. Most restaurants/cafes you cannot drop in for a drink or two while most bars would have waits in the afternoons/evenings so it was nice to grab a glass and sit there talking with the staff or take it back to our room and enjoy the view from our patio. Would highly recommend staying here!

The hotel is very nice with an amazing view. Breakfast was tasty and they bring it to your room. The location is perfect but the maps brings you from a very long stair path to the hotel and there is another easier way to reach.

We stayed for 2 nights in hotel Reginella and absolutely loved it! Great romantic getaway. It's very conveniently located amidst multiple restaurants just next to it. It takes around 5 min to get to the beach via the stairs just next to it. The place serves breakfast, which they bring straight to your room. There's a minibar and a proper bar next to the reception. The staff is super friendly. Important to note that the hotel doesn't have parking. There's place to stop a car to unload the baggage, but then the car should be taken to a parking garage which is 70 euro per day.

Spent five nights here and absolutely loved it. The hotel is a very classy property but not pretentious at all. All of the employees were friendly and very helpful. The room and property were extremely well maintained and very elegant. Breakfast on our balcony was a wonderful way to start the day. Location is up a bit but not too high. Views were wonderful. I would definitely stay here again.

We had the most beautiful view.. It's just a little thing to keep in mind. If you do plan on visiting Positano It is very pricey compared to the rest of the Amalfi Coast. But the view is worth it.

This hotel is amazing. You really can't beat the views from the balconies and eating breakfast is a dream. I couldn't stop looking out our doors towards Positano and the sea. The staff is also extremely kind and helpful with any of your needs. The hallways are lovely and the rooms extremely comfortable. The only question I have is why does t this hotel have more stars. It so deserves it.

The staff were fantastic and very helpful and polite.
The location is great, I mean Positano is small but this hotel has probably the best restaurants surrounding it also direct access via the stairs to the beach.
The room was great, spacious, great view, clean and good a/c, complimentary breakfast in the room each morning was a nice touch also!

This was the best hotel we stayed at from our multi city Italian trip. The rooms felt modern and were very clean. The breakfast was excellent everyday and the staff was amazing - the family owns the hotel/store and small take away shop. Honestly, this made our trip in Positano so much better than imagined and we will be back!

Incredible boutique hotel with the best views and the most amazing breakfast! Fantastic service by the small team and beautiful, classic features. Only a short walk (down the stairs…unavoidable in Positano!) down to town centre. Highly recommend getting a sea view room.

Excellent stay. It is a three star hotel with 4-5 star service and room! The location is great short walks to nice restaurants grocery stores pharmacy. The staffs are very friendly helpful and the view from our sea view room is just breathtaking. Highly recommend. In fact we will go back to this hotel next time visit Positano.

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Reginella for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view from our room on the top floor was spectacular and the location of the hotel was convenient for getting around Positano (stairs to the beach located just across the street). Huge shoutout to the staff as well. Everyone was outrageously friendly, down-to-earth, and ready to help.

Simply cannot recommend this place enough! Stayed only for one night unfortunately, but the experience was amazing:

First of all, the location is perfect. If you ask for a room on a higher floor, you'll be able to see the entire east side of Positano and breathtaking views of the sea.
They serve breakfast to the room, and you can eat while enjoying the sight.

The building has recently been renovated and is in beautiful shape inside and out. Minibar is tabaccheria level cheap. Not sure if this is a feature in every room, but we even had 2 showers in the bathroom.

Last but not least, the staff is unbelievably nice. The lady at the concierge was charming, witty and helpful.

Would stay again anytime!
