Il San Pietro di Positano

We absolutely loved our stay at Il San Pietro. It would be nearly impossible to choose our favorite part. The service was impeccable…warm, gracious, polite and always there for any of our needs. The food was amazing. Zass is a world class restaurant. Each portion of the meal exceeded expectations. We had lunch at the Beach Club Restaurant and found that to be delicious with the same fantastic service. The experience of coming out of the elevator, into the cave and then to the beach was magical. We also walked the steps multiple times up and down through the gardens. The gardens are lovely and the smells are fantastic with all the herbs. Our room was super comfortable with a wonderful view. And the service was again perfect. We lacked for nothing. We also loved the location just outside of Positano. The 24/7 shuttle service made it so easy to get back and forth. Truly a stay of a lifetime…although we WILL be back to stay again.

Had the absolute best stay of my life here. My husband and I haven’t been on vacation in over 4 years and after having a baby a year ago, we were so excited to come to Italy. This place was by far the most amazing hotel, experience, staff, room, and view we’ve ever had. Nothing is even close. We will be back only on the condition that nothing here changes! Bonjorno ❤

Giuseppe at the front desk is amazing. All they want to do is make you happy. The views are incredible. The town is charming the hotel absolutely extraordinary.. From the minute we walked in the hotel lobby to be greeted by the manager, Andrea Zana with such hospitality, as though he’d known us our whole life. If should you visit this region of Positano we highly recommend you stay here! Each person friendlier than the next!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Il San Pietro! The location is stunningly beautiful, serene and out of the bustle of Positano! The staff was so professional, service oriented and warm. They treated us like family! The rooms are each so unique and charming with beautiful views!! Breakfasts and dinner at Zass were excellent!! We would rate the entire experience too notch and would highly recommend!! Will definitely be back!

Dining at Il Carlino's, the hotel's restaurant at the beach, was a culinary delight. The food was nothing short of stunning, and every meal I enjoyed there was a gastronomic experience to remember. Pair that with the breathtaking view from the restaurant, and you have a dining experience that is second to none.

The service at the hotel's bar was equally exceptional. The staff exceeded every expectation, and the drinks they crafted were nothing short of superlative. It was a pleasure to unwind at the bar after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings, while being stunned from the amazing views (and sunsets!!) of this terrace.

The reception team was also outstanding. They were always ready and willing to assist with any request and went out of their way to ensure that my stay was seamless. Whether it was arranging reservations or providing recommendations, their dedication to guest satisfaction was evident.

Elegance and luxury at its best!! Unparalleled service. Zass Restaurant is a must culinary experience. Rooms and hotel grounds immaculately maintained and updated. Breakfast buffet and staff was uniquely delicious and varied.

My partner and I spent four nights here and had our Elopement ceremony on the grass near their restaurant Carlino.

The room was immaculately kept throughout our stay with great views of the water from the balcony. The breakfast was set out on our balcony each morning with fresh juice and pastries. The staff were very accommodating with our requests.

The hotel offers a shuttle in and out of Positano 24/7 which allowed us to explore the local restaurants. There is a small gym with some cardio equipment and weights that has a picturesque view.

Of course we aren't able to mention everyone that helped us during our stay however we would like to say thanks to Massimo, Andrea, Roberto, the lovely women and men at the reception desk and all the staff of the San Pietro that were able to help us realise our dream wedding. Your hard work and attention to detail made our stay memorable and we are hopeful to come back some time in the future.

Our visit was inspired by a stay my Mom had here 30 years ago. We had the same amazing experience she wrote about. The kind and attentive staff, the beautiful room, the phenomenal food and the peaceful location made for a wonderfully memorable vacation. Grazie Mille.

We stayed at 5 great hotels between Capri and the Amalfi Coast and this was our favorite. Stunning views in every direction and the private beach club/tennis court are straight out of a Slim Aron’s book. Would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to the Amalfi Coast.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying here for a few nights last summer and it was spectacular. We arrived by boat which allowed for stunning views of the hotel. Upon check in we were served fresh peach bellini cocktails on the terrace while we waited for our rooms to be ready. I highly recommend reserving the tennis court during your stay. Even if you aren't an avid tennis player it is a once in a lifetime experience. The rooms were very comfortable with large closets and balconies and service throughout our stay was outstanding. The views from every area of this hotel are incredible, including the bath tub! The location of the hotel is a little further outside of Positano center than some of the other luxury hotels in the area but we appreciated being outside of the hustle and bustle. When we come back to Positano we will for sure be coming back to Il San Pietro!

Truly il San Peitro is fairy tale place! Unique and gorgeous with breathtaking views, best service ever, attentive, friendly and fun, fantastic food and very special ambiance in general.
