We have eaten at La Zagara twice in two days once for dinner and once for lunch. The staff are so friendly and they even remembered us. Each table is a unique ceramic painting. In the heat of the day the misters were divine. Food was delicious. We had pizza and salads. The lemon sorbet, of course was delectable, highly recommend. ❤

Great restaurant in Positano. Reasonable value, great food and location and the staff really helpful and didn't rush you. We would return here the next time we are on the Amalfi coast.

We had pizza, lemonchello spritz, lemon delight, and lemon sorbet inside a lemon. All of them were fantastic. It is a bit of a touristy place but what do you expect? Positano is a tourist mecca. Frankly I doubt there is a single non tourist restaurant in that town. Keep an eye on your bill and enjoy your experience with good food and beautiful views.

Its a nice place stop by when you walking in Positano, had some drinks and of course Sorbet in Lemon.
Their staff was friendly, its cute and authentic ambience especially with their unique ceramic table tops.

Cute stop for breakfast. I believe they are closed on Wednesdays weekly. If you sit down for breakfast you have to pay the “coperta” which is a dine in fee or you do breakfast at the standing coffee bar area.

Great service and great food. We had fun times with three different servers. They were kind and fun and liked to chat. Just genuinely fun people. The food was also amazing. We tried pasta, pizza and a salad and all were delicious. We came back for a second time the next day!

I had a very good sandwich plus some pastries. The best option is take away to avoid surcharges when served at the table.

We came here just for dessert after dinner so I can’t comment on there “food” only there sweets.
That being said, the sweets are world class.
The answer is yes, they taste as good as they look.
Great coffee too.

Great view and good pizza (we had the best in Naples).
Orange juice was very sour to our liking. As many other reviews suggested, it was pricey. But I believe it will be the same everywhere because it is positano. Toilets were clean and they charge 2.5 as cover charge per person.
A Margarita pizza and 2 orange juice costed us 31euros.
Service was good. They also have a take away section in the front.

Fun spot to stop in for a quick coffee, spritz and a sandwich.
You can dine 1 of 2 ways. Full table service with a larger more robust menu or grab a take away and eat standing at their inside area not for table service, or simply take it away.
Great service , quality and quantity.
Would pop in here again!

Everything perfect, we ordered 3 different foods and everything was great! The view is also beautiful and the staff, very polite. I honestly dont understand whats the reason for the bad reviews. 4 stars in what it concerns the atmosphere because there is no ac. Besides, the prices are okay for positano

Very good!
Heard great things from my friend in NYC about this place.

What we ordered
Calzone- MASSIVE and so fresh tasting
Eggplant- was a great presentation and taste
Pasta- home made and amazing

Dessert
The best tiny eclair you have ever had!

A++++++++

The food was great, but the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my mother who had gotten ill on the way down to the coast. I’ve never seen such compassion and hospitality from people running a business. They even reused our offer if a tip!
Thank you La Zagara!

We were seated rather quickly despite the crowd. The wait was short for our food which were demolished without me getting a photo of but one remaining ricotta filled ravioli. 😊
Will I recommend it to friends and family? Yes!!!

Beautiful garden dining area with yummy pistachio croissants. Friendly staff. Worth a stop to rest and recover from the hilly climb of Positano.

So, this place is a complete gem!
The pastries and desserts are some of the best I've had anywhere in the world... and I have a sweet tooth so that's saying something.
We had the Cannoli, the Pear & Chocolate Mousse and then we went back again and had the Chocolate Eclair and the Riccota and Pear dessert. Each one was a perfectly balanced masterpiece. The mousse was so light and fluffy and the combination of flavours was a foodgasm. The Scicilian Canolli was crisp, perfectly cooked with a chocolate inner coating holding a light creme patissiere.
The service is welcoming and friendly so that helps.
We also had the limoncello which is produced on site from the lemon trees immediately next to the restaurant.
If you're in Positano, come here for your dessert after your meal. You won't be disappointed!
