Wow is this place fantastic. We walked up on the hiking trail from our hotel on the shore. Amazing food and you can’t beat the service and great price point. Cassata al forno is 10/10 amazing- our new favorite Italian dessert. GRAZIE!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at crotto campo and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm and friendly service. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect place for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends.

The menu at crotto is diverse and offers a wide range of options to suit any palate. I opted for the seafood pasta and it was truly outstanding. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the seafood was fresh and flavorful. Each bite was a delight and I couldn't help but savor every mouthful.
The staff especially Amedeo was attentive and knowledgeable, making excellent recommendations and ensuring that every need was met. The waitstaff was also incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home.

In addition to the amazing food and service, the wine selection . The wine was expertly paired and enhanced the flavors of the food.

Overall, my experience was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of delicious food, impeccable service, and inviting ambiance made for a truly memorable dining experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a top-notch restaurant with incredible food and service. It truly deserves a five-star rating.

We were looking for pizzeria near our way round Lago and were much pleased. Pizza and pasta were delicious. The road was terrible but worth it. Also one of the cheapest restaurants we met with on our way through northern-east Italy. Just feel bad for being only guests inside.

Dined here one night and it was so good... we came back the second! Great quaint little pizerria that catered for, did I mention, NINETEEN foreigners!
Although we were politely asked to next time book, as we didn't the second night LOL.
Everything was excellent! The Food, the wine, the wine, the wine, the dessert!
Honestly can't write anymore about how great this place is! Is an outstanding outdoor dining experience tucked away in the Lugano Hillside!

I was discovering the area and spotted “Pizzaria” sign. After some debate with myself whether I should break my diet, I decided to eat and enjoy what Italy has to offer. My first meal in Italy and it didn’t disappoint. The pizza was too good and the tiramisu was heavenly. It’s authentic and not pretentious. The food is simple and fresh and overall it was very pleasant experience. Also I was surprised how good the coffee was! The prices are a steal.

The owner is a top man, I didn’t plan anything for my trip and it was getting late and had no place to sleep at. The owner took some of his time to help me out and called a hotel on my behalf, even though my Italian was limited to “Grazie” and “Ciao”. Beautiful human beings. Little acts of kindness make all the difference. I’ll be back.

Incredible find! Lovely Sicilian cook makes up incredible dishes from his region. The pizza is also amazing. The waiter was super kind. We will be back!

Had a nice dinner here, the place was very quiet and the waiting staff couldn't speak any english but the menu was in english so we were able to communicate well. They were very friendly and the food was also very tasty!

Their pizza is incredibly delicious! We got so drunk, we climbed up the wrong mountain. Very friendly service! Very fair price as well. Definitely recommend!!!

Amazing pizza i love the pizza al tagliere, fresh oysters are great when they got them in. Have not been disapointed with a plate yet.

Capitati x caso, ma una scoperta meravigliosa. Propetario nonché chef favoloso ci ha spiegato subito che non era il classico crotto con polenta ma pesce e carne a volontà. Abbiamo mangiato spaghetti allo scoglio, fritto misto e tagliata buonissimi. A mezzogiorno non fanno pizza ma il forno era acceso e quindi mi hanno fatto la pignata una bontà. Ci torneremo presto e molte volte

Ho preso la Tataki di tonno...spettacolare!!!
Ho assaggiato, gli spaghetti con le vongole e, le tagliatelle con le verdure. Del dolce abbiamo fatto il bis( cannolo e cassata calda, freschissimi)
Tutto veramente molto buono e di qualità e, alla fine anche un liquore alla mandorla.
Devo dire grazie anche ad Amedeo, simpatico, gentile e, super professionale.
Grazie è stato un vero piacere , alla prossima.
