Pizzeria Lugano

The is one of the best pasta we had in our two weeks trip in Italy.
This pizzeria made me love menagio.
The pastas were so great. We clean out the dish with bread. Really recommend these two dishes.

We arrived at opening time and it did get busy by the time we finished so we were glad we got there early for a good seat. The food came in a good time and the waiters were lovely and friendly. The pizzas looked like they were loaded with toppings. The portions were generous. Could not be happier.

We had different pastas here and shared a pizza. All the dishes are excellent. The prices were also reasonable. We would eat here again if we could.

The Como area is full of touristy food spots but this is NOT one of them! It’s a local place nestled on the second floor of a building. The place is sparse in ambiance, feels like a local pizza joint but the food does not disappoint. Crispy and fresh pizza that tastes delicious and fresh pasta dishes that come out piping hot. Great portions, the pizza is individual size but large enough to share a slice with someone. We ordered the margarita and the arribiata pasta. Both delicious. Don’t forget to ask for their homemade chili oil to drizzle on top

Bufala pizza was really nice, did not expect much but it was lovely lunch. Mixed green salads was simple, but okay.

This place is very unassuming and not directly on the most obvious tourist location but still a 10 min walk from the ferry and main street. It is, however, more than worth going out of your way. The prices were great, the portions were perfect, and both the pizza and pasta were amazing. We hoped around the lake in several towns and far more $$ places which had wish we didn't and instead came here during my stay in this area. The service was super friendly, my gf loved her pasta and swore it was the best she ever had, and my only regret was not getting more food (we literally couldn't eat anymore 🤣)
The dessert were also super tasty.

It’s a simple, clean restaurant with beautiful view on the side. Although it’s not fancy but the food was fresh and the taste of the food was so yummy. The people whose working there was very friendly. I really recommend it and I hope to come again in my next trip.

went here for our last night on holiday and honestly the pizza was amazing. We ordered two pizzas and a lasagne and it was delicious! Finished off with a tiramisu which was sensational. Lovely staff and very homely and welcoming.

We came here for the pizza, but everything else was great as well.
We ordered the tuna salad 3/5: not seasoned or dressed but simple vegetables, beans, eggs and tuna.
Bufala pizza 4/5: simple but the dough was wet a bit.
Gnocchi with 4 cheese 5/5: best gnocchi I've tried, so soft and pillowy and the cheese sauce is perfect.
Tagliatelle with shrimp and zucchini 4/5: very good but bit spicy for us.
Tiramisu 3/5: not the best, but the serving in a jar was attractive to us.
White wine 5/5: totally recommend
Aperol spritz 5/5: very good 👍
Overall, great experience and i would come back if I'm the area.

Wow, by far the best pizza on Lake Como. My fiance and I spent a week on the lake. We ended up coming here 3 times because it’s just so good. The tiramisu is a MUST. Definitely check this place out!!

Hidden Gem - I wasn’t sure if the food was better than the service, but either way, they were both great! Once you managed to get a seat the waiters and waitresses were very friendly, attentive and patient. We were at Lake Como for about a week and ate where a few times. The food was excellent, especially for the price. The pizza maker, and I assume owner, visited everyone’s table to make sure they were satisfied.

Wonderful pizzeria few steps away from touristy area. Their wood oven pizzas were delicious. We tried their Bufala and Vegetariana. Both were cooked to perfection and tasted really fresh. No parking outside but there is some paid parking nearby. They have a clean restroom.

Small pitoresc restaurant that serves fast and tasty food. We had the calzone and Bufala pizza with a bottle of water and paid 16€ each.
Nice place to lunch.

Cozy place with delicious food. They were understaffed at the time. But was worth the wait. I recommend trying their pasta, lamb chops were pretty good, creme brulee was delicious, tiramisu was okay. Highly recommend.

Food was good, pizza a bit soggy in the middle but tasted great. We got there late, about 9.30 and were rushed out which was fine as the food came quickly. Really nice authentic Italian restaurant.

I’ve ordered vegetarian lasagna and it was one of the best things i’ve ever tasted in Italy! Definitely going to come back if I had the chance. The place is cozy and the staff are friendly.

My very first meal in Italy and it did not disappoint.

Pizza is great, carbonara is the best I ever tasted. I couldn't believe how tasty it was, the feeling is unbelievable, it's like euphoria.

Service can be improved though.

Best spaghetti vongole. Garlicky with a bit of spice and a lot of olive oil. So good. Must use the bread to soak up the oil because it’s so good. Worth the price (€14)
The carbonara was also really good too, but got a bit cold by the time we finished it.
Good quality and reasonable price for lake como.
Tiramisu was also excellent!! Very creamy and rich! Perfect ratio

So wonderful we ate here two nights in a row. Tagliatelle with shrimp and Zucchini along with the gnocchi was amazing. Pizza also terrific. Tiramisu was best we have had. Excellent service.
