Lido di Colico

We have eaten in restaurants around Lake Como for a week - in upscale and casual places. This was the most delicious food of them all! Well worth a visit, incredible views and generous portions

Friendly staff, girl with amazing eye's, gave us a nice welcome.
Location is perfect direct on the beach.
The restaurant was very good and especially very good price vs quality.
Did not expect such good food.
Only in Italy you find such hidden gems.
Highly recommend!!

Excellent home made pizza and tiramisu, amazing scenery on the lake

Delicious food for a very reasonable price. We had 2 pizzas (Salami & Diavola) - both tasted great. Friendly staff, quick service, nice view of the lake.

A perfect lake side family experience. Delicious, well priced food. Football & Volleyball with local Italian kids. A great place to swim. Relaxed, friendly and English speaking staff. Simple, laid back Italian fun. A highlight of our trip.

We were tempted by good reviews. We came to the restaurant at 4 pm, because according to google data, it should be open. Actually she was. After 10 minutes a lady who didn't speak English came to us. After another 10 someone from the service came who was able to explain that actually they are closed, but we can order something simple. We opted for pizzas. We pointed out the items on the menu. After a short time, the pizza was served. However, my husband's order was forgotten. He only got them after we had finished eating. The pizza itself was thick and very watery. I do not recommend

Beat pizza in the city Colico. Tasty, thin, italian pizza. Great vino di casa 5 EUR for half liter.

Gelato was delish. Definitely need to try the fior di latte.

One of the best places on the lake, a very chilled out place with watersports, swimming, food, drink, parking, play park for kids. We haven't found any nicer places for a day by the lake.

Beautiful views with some of the most delicious dishes from lake fish to pasta! The owner is wonderful and so friendly along with her two puppies! Lol

I have been going to the Lido for almost 10 years, and the food is really amazing! They have a varied menu that includes pasta, meat, fish, etc. but they also have daily fixed-price daily menus that feature delicious local specialties like Pizzoccheri. And for the kids, and those who somehow don't like Italian food (?) there are also hamburgers and french fries, which are equally delicious!
The staff are incredibly nice, they speak English, German and other languages, and the service has always been fantastic. The location could not be more perfect, as it is literally right on the beach, with amazing views of the lake and the mountains. I heartily recommend the Lido Colico!

Great food, good prices, fantastic location and not overly busy during the week days when we went! Food was between 10 to 15 euro per person. Staff was very friendly and spoke great English! ❤

My fish and chips was an excellent twist on a famous British institution. So huge took half hone to my son who is at middle school and arrives ravenous every day at 2pm. Evviva tutte le mamme!

The Lido is a real gem, right on the beach at Lake Como. It is great for kids and families, and they have a very wide-ranging menu. I like to stop there in the afternoon for a fresh German beer on tap. The owners, Suzanne and Cesare, are always very friendly, accommodating and easy going, and they and their staff (which also includes their children!) make everyone feel at home. It's really a little oasis on the lake. I have also tried their daily menus, which are really good and inexpensive, with things like scallopine with mushrooms and even risotto with Taleggio cheese and pear. Great place for lunch or dinner or - like me - to have a nice cold beer on a hot day by the lake :-)

Just near to the lake, tasty food in a reasonable price.

Excellent Pizza, very good service, lovely atmosphere. Try the pizza with Burrata and Crudo Ham. Mamma Mia !
