Pensione Casa Guadagno B & B Amalfi coast

This was a beautiful B&B to stay at. Rooms were so pretty - we had the triple with a terrace with a table and chairs, as well as lounge chairs with a view of the sea.

Breakfast was great with many options- bread, toaster, croissants, little donuts and pastries, cake, pancakes, eggs to hard boil, cheese, ham, juices, and they also made the guests an espresso coffee.

AC was controlled by the guest (we stayed at other places where it was centrally controlled) so this was so wonderful. It's a bit of a walk up from the wharf so prepare to stretch your legs. Hire the porters to take your bags to and from, it's worth it. Not too much of a walk to the closest beach but there's a lot of steps involved.

Shower was on the small side for any guests who might be on the larger side.

My favourite accommodation in Italy so far, would stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The room was small but very clean and well maintained. The rooms are a bit older but it’s very charming and the view from our balcony was so incredible. The breakfast had a very nice selection of options with cappuccinos and coffee. the breakfast area also overlooked the ocean. The bed was not as comfortable as I would like but they had extra pillows which was nice. The bathroom was larger than I expected and the air conditioner worked very well. It was about a 15-20 minute walk downhill to the bottom of the city center, or you can take about 400+ steps directly down. Positano is all about walking and stairs so that should be expected probably anywhere you stay. There’s several nice restaurants right around the corner from the hotel and a bus stop at the top of the street if you don’t want to walk. The staff was very helpful and informative. We will definitely stay here again in the future! Thank you for the amazing stay!

This was an AMAZING place to stay in Positano. We only stayed for two nights (wish it would have been longer) and the service was impeccable. The lady at the front desk was extremely helpful and printed our train tickets for us, helped us with our luggage, and more. They also booked us a private transfer to and from the airport in Naples. The room was absolutely beautiful and the view from the terrace was utterly stunning. The room was super clean and perfect for any length stay. Would highly suggest anyone stay here!

Great experience staying at Casa Guadagno! 😊 Noemi was very helpful with giving us information about Positano and how to get around. All the staff were friendly and very hospitable. Room was clean, nice view of the ocean and beautiful tile floors. 5 minute walk to the bus stop and very close to the local restaurants.

Family run, Casa Guadagno is clean and the service is friendly with a smile. We felt at home and taken care of during our stay.

The room was large, the veranda was expansive with a good view of both the town and sea.

The bathroom was a bit on the tight side. Things can get a bit cramped when you start building a town up a cliff face!

Visited the Amalfi Coast and was delighted with Casa Guadagno's accomodations. Our view was beautiful! The staff was there to offer recommendations or help with transportation. Definitely would stay there again!

The start was extremely welcoming and very friendly. The morning breakfast was always a great treat. The location was perfect to the more secluded beach and close to many restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay

Great hotel with excellent service, rooms and breakfast. We had a room in the annex with a large balcony. We sat out in the evening and enjoyed our view (mainly of houses but we could see down to the sea).

The room was cute and smelled lovely; the breakfast was extensive and qualitative for Italian standards. Kind and friendly service too.

Casa Guadagno was nothing short of amazing. My wife and I toured Italy for our honeymoon for 2 weeks and this was our final destination before going back home, and in hindsight, it’s easy to say we made the right decision staying here. The hotel staff, Filoteo included, were incredibly helpful and friendly, their customer service was off the charts. Prior to arrival, plenty of recommendations were given to us for all of the things to do in and around Positano. Filoteo also booked private car transfers to/from Napoli for us. The experience was smooth from start to finish. Casa Guadagno gets an A++++ from us.

The staff was incredibly helpful and informative. The breakfast was delicious and they offered a great variety. The location was perfect for us. Many ways to explore the town but easy to find our place. The room was clean with everything we needed, a great mini bar selection that was not overpriced, and a quaint balcony to watch the waves and look out at the cliffsides. If we return to Positano, we can would absolutely stay again.

We had a wonderful experience at Casa Guadagno - I would definitely stay here again! Great breakfast with perfect cappuccinos and a sea view. Very friendly and helpful staff - don’t take that for granted because that’s not the case everywhere. Clean and spacious room - we had the quad with a huge sea view balcony and it was comfortable for my family of 4 adults. Tip - do NOT follow Google maps up the numerous long flights of stairs from the marina. Instead walk along the road - much easier! And use the porter service by the marina - worth it!! Positano is lovely - I’ll be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Guadagno. Great location, just minutes away from the beach and some great Restaurants. We booked a room with a sea-view balcony and were delighted that the images were accurate. I was just how we had pictured. All of the staff were absolutely amazing, with a special mention to Jessica who went above and beyond.

We will 100% be returning to Positano and to Casa Guadagno especially.

Wonderful experience staying in Casa Guadagno. They added a personal touch for our 40th birthdays, made us feel extremely welcome, and were incredibly helpful. Great view of the sea, and nice views of the city both at day and night. Great location to many restaurants and shops on the main road. The steps down to the main beach were quite a lot (but that's Positano); however, the road is an easier and more manageable walk. Easy access to the hotel from the road.

We were guests from June 18 to 23 and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We were in Room 6 which is bright, large and fresh and has a massive terrace with the best views of the sea and Positano. Breakfast is awesome! While not right in the heart of downtown Positano, it is close to great restaurants and right on the path to the small Fornillo Beach. We had a terrific stay

This place was amazing! We had a spacious room overlooking the sea with a balcony. There was a mini bar, coffee machine and tv with netlix on. Breakfast was fresh and really nice. The staff were so friendly and helped us out with recommendations and suggestions for our trip. Not far from the ferry port and really close to beaches and restaurants too. Would 100% recommend this place and would definitely revisit too!

Incredible. My husband and I stayed here for several days during our honeymoon. Our room was beautiful and the breakfast was delicious. You did have to walk a little bit to the center/beach but the walk was beautiful! The staff was so friendly. Rooms were spotless and cozy. When we come to Positano again we will definitely be staying here!

I would recommend this place a thousand times over. It was so clean, the staff were the friendliest people. It was just overall such a good experience.

We loved staying here! I forget the guys name who checked us in but he was super helpful and so kind! The location is great and I would recommend this place again!
