I have nothing but great things to say about this restaurant.
We were able to walk up and get a table for lunch without a wait. They were also open when other restaurants hadn't yet opened for lunch service.

The service was great!

The food was all very tasty. I was appreciative that they had plenty of non-seafood options.
The drinks were also very good.

The lemon delight dessert was to die for. And I loved the presentation!

I felt it was very reasonably priced. For 2 adults, we spent £80. That included 3 drinks, 2 entrees and dessert.

The take out pizza spot for the main restaurant capricci, a tiny place with excellent thin crust neopolitan style pizza. Ingredients were fresh, pizza came out piping hot, and breezy terrace with a water (and boats) view fits about 10 people on stools.

The service was good, despite the high traffic . Price a little bit high, but not so much - maybe for Positano it’s ok price. We didn’t regret. The seafood spaghetti was unbelievably delicious! The lasagna was ok, but my husband really liked it. I think that the institution has a too low rating, we do not agree with this.

100% recommended! We tried 4 different pizzas in 2 days and all of them were amazing! My favorite one: Monaco. Pleaseeee try it!

Nice atmosphere and very kind service.

Pizzas and drinks were reasonably priced and were good.

We had a margarita pizza which was delicious, perfectly thin base with a lovely light and airy crust, perfectly balanced flavours, and the topping didn't make the bottom soggy which was nice... and caprese salad, also really good and more interesting and bigger than what you'd usually be served in uk where it's usually about 3 slices of mozzarella and tomato with a bit of basil if you're lucky. This one had a ball of really nice, creamy mozzarella, lots of flavourful tomato slices, fennel, etc. Service was good and friendly. Mojito was nice and quite alcoholic, maybe a little sweeter than I prefer but not too much. The bread was soft inside and crusty and flour-y on the outside, couldn't fault it. The table/bread charge I think was about 2€ pp which seems reasonable.
So sad to read all the negative reviews, especially when they're mostly because of the price. If you can't afford it just go somewhere else? This is in a prime location after all...

Disappointed with basically every other spot on the beach (except Rada) we ordered a panini here one day for lunch and went back for dinner the following day. Pizza was the best we’ve had in Positano so far, calamari was great and the tomatoes from the caprese was delicious. Nothing fancy, just good food.

This is a sleeper. Food is as fresh as it gets. Staff is attentive, friendly, and funny. Tables looking on picturesque Positano harbor.

Beautiful setting with views to the ocean. Seafood is fantastic. Fresh and tasty lobster, risotto and pasta marinara.
Highly recommend

Delicious Seafood Pasta dish !

My wife was craving her favorite seafood-pasta dish that night. However, we tried another restaurant before this one and it just wasn't made right. Then we walked by this restaurant on our way to the beach and noticed how good the same dish looked on one of their client's plates. We decided to sit down there for a second dinner and we weren't disappointed. The Frutti-di-mare linguine was exquisite. It was fresh, spiced right and really tasty. It made us wish we had known about Capricci before venturing out somewhere else for dinner that night...

Near the beach, we tried the takeaway section upstairs and by far the best Margarita ever, the staff were lovely and friendly, really affordable snacks - they do dine in downstairs but we didn’t try it, it looks more pricey

The restaurant in the middle of Possitano is absolutely the best choice in comparison with other. Prices are average but much better than others around. Food was tasty, got an arrancini with saffron, I absolutely love it. Tried the arrancini with pistachio but loved more the one with saffron, each arrancini costs 2 euro. If you sit outside you can get a beautiful view of the sea, absolutely amazing. Really recommend going here for a lunch in Possitano. Very friendly staff, ready to give you advices and suggestions on what to try. Enjoyed the view, the food in one go. There is no extra charge for sitting outside upstairs and enjoying the view.

My wife and I came here for lunch while we were at the beach. We got up from our chairs, ate some food and then went back to the beach. I definitely recommend coming here if you are doing a beach day.

My wife ordered the seafood pasta and she liked it. We had some pretty amazing pasta during our time in Positano and this wasn't our favorite but it was still very good (the competition is tough since all good in Positano is amazing). I ordered a pizza with prosciutto, burrata and arugula. It was very good, and it is Neopolitan style. The crust was fluffy yet chewy and had a bit of a crisp to it, it was cooked perfectly. We ordered a lemon frozen ice afterwards and it was very good too. They have a good location too right near the water.

Not sure why this place has low reviews! We visited positano for a few hours and wanted to grab lunch, came across capricci and had their spaghetti with tomato sauce - prob the best one we have had in Italy! I would recommend trying it out.

Great Restaurant! We stop in Positano for a few hours only, lunch, shopping and to admire the amazing landscapes. We walk on the main little and busy street looking for a table for six of us, they take care us quickly and we felt very welcome. We seat outside and the view and the tourist traffic was perfect, I order a glass of rose wine and I choose the local wine Almafi, perfect, refreshing, not to sweet and homemade linguine dish. Everything was great. Highly recommend Capricci Restaurant, the service the food the location. Un placer!!

Perfect for a quick snack!
Had a pizza roll and a pistachio arancino and it was just perfect in term of size and freshness. The arancino is a ball of risotto with cheese inside covered with a pistachio cream! I would recommend for a quick snack, nothing fancy but very satisfying with an astonishing view on the ocean and marina! Only 11€ for the pizza roll, arancino and beer!

Really great spot. Excellent service and food at a more affordable rate than other places nearby. Compared to other beach spots, I would pick this one every time hands down.

My friend and I enjoyed the food, location, and (most importantly!) service received from Pietro at this location. Pietro helped serve us when we had walked in near closing our first night in town and made us feel so welcome. Pietro’s kindness made us repeat customers—we ended up going back later in the week and had the best meal of our trip!

We had pizza in Venice, Bologna, Livorno, Rome, and Positano. All delicious...but this was by far the best pizza we had the entire time we were in Italy. ❤
