Villa Podere Baiocco

Our family vacationed at beautiful Villa Baiocco in 2012 and just made a return visit in July and August of this year (2023). Once again, all 11 of us had a fabulous time. Jacopo has added air conditioning to the villa, making our summer stay just about perfect. The villa and grounds are immaculate and Jacopo’s hospitality is unparalleled. He and his crew were ready to meet our every need. We will return. It’s a wonderful place for a memorable Italian vacation.

Our group of 10 had the most wonderful stay at the villa. All requests and emails were handled quickly and efficiently. We enjoyed a wonderful welcome dinner on arrival and also a Tuscan dinner a week later. Both were absolutely delicious. A big shoutout to Jacopo and his whole team for making this trip very memorable. We will be back !

I had a group of 15 people stay at Villa Biaocco from October 23-November 7, 2021 and we just had an amazing stay. The Villa is spectacular and the grounds are really something to see but what makes this villa so special is the owner, Jacopo. From dealing with him for over a year as I planned this trip (which was postponed from 2020 due to Covid) until the final check-out he was the absolute perfect host. Jacopo helped me set up transportation and tours with a local tour company (Giorgi Tours) which was also an incredible company to work with. Jacopo also did a dinner for us one night along with his girlfriend and kids that was just a wonderful event! The villa is beautiful and had plenty of room for our group and the multiple outdoor areas just made it even nicer for us to sit back and sip wine....and oh, the wine! Jacopo has his family label available for consumption at a very reasonable price as well as having some of his very own olive oils. As a chef I enjoyed working in the kitchen and using the outdoor grill areas as well and found everything I needed for many meals. The town of Citte della Pieve is located 1 mile from the villa and while the road into town can be a bit of a challenge, our group made many walks in and enjoyed the shops and restaurants. Saturday is market day in town so keep that in mind. The train station is located in Chiusi and it is about a 15 minute drive from the villa to the station with connections to all of Italy. You will also pass a few larger grocer stores at the bottom the hill which have all the groceries and wines you could want. I take groups to Italy on culinary/wine tours and have rented numerous villas throughout Tuscany and so far Villa Biaocco has been the most complete package yet with the perfect villa, perfect owner, the perfect location which all adds up to one thing....perfection!!!

Ciao. In early May of 2016 a group of 12 friends stayed at the Villa Baiocco.
In short the villa exceeded our expectations in every way. The villa was beautiful, spacious and had everything that we needed for our stay. The grounds were immaculate. The location was perfect for a relaxing holiday.
The villa personnel were friendly and professional. Jacopo, the host, was always within a quick text or email to answer any questions our group needed help with.
To summarize, our group wishes we had booked for two weeks instead of one. Is that not enough of a recommendation?

Wonderful vacation in a beautiful villa!

We had an excellent week in mid-June 2015 staying at Podere Baiocco with family and friends. The villa is very comfortable, well equipped and maintained, and very clean. It has a wonderful atmosphere, and exceeded our expectations in all respects. The well looked after garden is a lovely place to relax, and affords great views over the local countryside. The villa is located a short walk from Citta della Pieve, a charming old town that has several good restaurants, friendly cafes/bars, and a well stocked supermarket.

Jacopo and his colleagues did an excellent job of welcoming guests. We had the breakfast service, welcome dinner, and Tuscan dinner and wine tasting, all of which I highly recommend. The food was delicious, and nicely presented. The daily cleaning service was unobtrusive and efficient.

The villa is well located--we used it as a base for day trips to Castiglione del Lago (located on Lake Trasimeno), Montepulciano, Orvieto, and Todi.

Perfect location, quiet and beautiful and an easy walking distance from the village with restaurants and shops. Also central for many tourist sites.

Fabulous villa! Very comfortable. Enjoyed my stay very much. Short walk into the beautiful little town.

This amazingly charming Villa is 2 hours north of Rome has great views and is WELL worth the trip to this small town. Experience the real Italy!

Tutto perfetto , casa ben attrezzata con tutti i comfort di cui hai bisogno piscina pulita e molto grande ,tutta la privacy che vuoi ,ottimo panorama è proprietario molto cordiale ,ci torneremo di sicuro,grazie Podere Baiocco !

È uno dei migliori agriturismi in assoluto che potete trovare a Città della Pieve, lontano dalle strade e dal rumore, immerso nel verde con due piscine e il personale molto cordiale e disponibile

Immerso nel verde... Meraviglioso!!! 2 Piscine bellissime... Ne vale veramente la pena... Nelle vicinanze i posti più belli dell' Umbria e Toscana
