Trattoria Bruno Coppetta

Simply fabulous- easily the best meal we had in Citta Della Pieve. We enjoyed the lamb ribs and duck pasta and cleaned our plates. Make sure to get a reservation beforehand. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Incredible food experience! Easily, the best Pici Cacio e Pepe I ever had a pleasure to try anywhere in Italy.
Even though portions are gigantic and quality is top-top, the prices are very reasonable.

The wine list is unbelievable. The risotto outstanding. But you have to go here for the service and the Cacio Pepe.

Nice place, very nice stuff, the food was made with passion, only maybe the weather was not so good for the Chianina. Hope next year the Fiorentina will include the missing "fillet" part and the most delicious yellow fat....

Visiting from Vancouver, Canada. Incredible restaurant with authentic Umbrian fare. Highly recommend the house special picci, that is tossed inside a parmesan wheel to give it the most amazing creamy cheese coating. Staff was very friendly and service was excellent.

I walked inside this restaurant with the doubt to be inside a tourist trap, I couldn't be more wrong! The food was amazing and truly genuine, all according typical receipts. The selection of wines is also impressive, many good bottles, but the house wine is also a really good deal. The waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly. The ambient inside is very elegant, especially upstairs. Prices are fair, not expensive at all!

Always nice to be back here. Everything seems to be great, but my favorites are always the Pici Cacio e Pepe and the Chianina beef roasted on the hot coals. Great wine selection, great desserts, and the kindest service on Earth.

Bruno Copetta trattoria - a place you feel good and eat well! Delicious pasta (pici cacio e pepe) and risotto. Also, very good meat and vegetables prepared as caponata. The service was kind, we received the best recommendation. Grazie mille! We hope to return soon!

This restaurant was a wonderful little discovery for us on our five month around the world trip. We had some of the best food ever in our journey. We loved it so much we went there two nights running.

I highly recommend you visit this restaurant if you’re ever in Citta Della Pieve, or I would suggest you make a point of going to Citta Della Pieve just to visit this restaurant!

The ambience is lovely as it’s in a converted Palazzo, the staff are friendly and very helpful, and the food was spectacular.

Jeammarco was our waiter and he was the best! The restaurant owner is lucky to have him in his employ.

Enough said, make sure you visit.

Service was super fast and waiters were very friendly. The food was very good, with traditional recipes. The pheasant Ragu was too salty...

Every dish was a delight, with an authentic kitchen & lovely service. Highly recommend the full experience!

Good food, very kind staff, dogfriendly 🖤🐶 we received a bowl with water for our dog right after we sat at the table, without asking :)) all the staff were smiling, food came quickly and was very good.

More than a restaurant, this is an institution. Sadly its founder, Bruno Coppetta, has passed away, but his son Maurizio carries on the tradition gloriously. We have been coming for many years and the cacio e pepe, with hand-made pici, remains the best anywhere in the world. But everything else on the menu is flavorful, made with world-class, fresh ingredients. Even if you are two hours away, this culinary institution is worth the drive. Service and atmosphere are perfect, and so is the wine list. This restaurant could not be better.

Cosy and very busy restaurant, and for good reason. The food is great, meat is grilled on the wood fire, some of the pastas are prepared right at the table and the atmosphere is great.

It was a really good surprise. We ate pasta and tagliata, all delicious. Excellent espresso
