Seven Cafe' Restaurant

Enjoyed an absolutely wonderful meal. We all had the truffle pasta, which was amazing. The pasta was cooked so it had that craveable chew. The umami of the truffles made it irresistible.

A surprising star was the green vegetable. It was lightly seasoned and perfectly cooked. I don't know what seasoning they used but I haven't been able to replicate it at home. Wish I lived closer so I could have it again.

We were fortunate enough to have a pre-planned Truffle Hunting experience with them prior to our visit to Umbria. Because of our phenomenal experience with Michele, Andrea and one of their dogs...we asked to make dinner reservations for later in the week. Our dinner was beyond delicious! Everything was perfect! The best restaurant we experienced during our trip to Umbria. We made a quick friendship with Michele and Andrea...hoping they come to visit us in the US! If you have the ability to schedule the Truffle Hunting experience....do it! Then eat a full meal at the restaurant!!

Outstanding experience! Food was excellent, service attentive, caring and prompt, and the atmosphere, terrific. Definitely a place to return to many times, and bring friends when they are visiting from out-of-town. The brothers, Andrea and Michele took time to speak to us and educate us about truffles and truffle hunting. We’ll be back and recommend to everyone we know. The French fries are out of this world. Go for the pasta, the pizza and the truffles, and don’t walk out without ordering a side order of fries. They are “unmissable”!

We went back twice for the pizza alone (the Speciale was our favorite) but the truffle tagliatelle was a hit as well. Great gelato. Overall experience was great thanks to the 2 brothers who run the family owned restaurant (mom is in the kitchen) and are the nicest, most welcoming guys.

Michaela and Andrea are the best hosts. Went here with a group and was treated to delicious charcuterie with bread, followed by gnocchi with freshly grated truffles. What an amazing experience. Next time, I will plan to rent an e-bike and book a truffle hunting tour with this fine family business.

Might be our favorite restaurant in Italy. Michele is an amazing chef and his brother Andrea is a fantastic host. Food is as good as it gets and they have a great wine selection.

I didn’t know I was a truffles fan, but a visit to Seven Cafe changed my mind. Everyone in my family had different dishes and if kids don’t like truffles, you can get, for example: carbonara without. A visit to the restaurant is definitely worth your drive and comes highly recommended.

Wow, what an incredible meal. Everything was served fresh and hot and super tasty. The best restaurant I have been to in Tuscany.

Seven Cafe is such a gem. The owners and staff are so friendly and passionate about their menu. Always quick with a fantastic recommendation to include wine pairings, they serve fresh local specialties. Anything on their menu featuring truffles is a must try, the owners go truffle hunting every morning. Wonderful atmosphere, reasonably priced menu, and delicious food, definitely recommend a stop at Seven Café!

Such a fantastic experience!! We went truffle hunting with Michele and Andrea and had a wonderful time. Then we came back to the restaurant and had a fantastic meal. We had cold pizza with olive oil that was so good we bought two bottles of it. They made us an amazing pasta with one of the truffles that we had found and the tiramisu was fantastic! Everything we ate here was delicious and I will be recommending to everyone going out to this area to visit Seven Cafe Restaurant!

Years later after my last visit here and I still think of this place. My favourite restaurant in all of Italy! Fantastic service, top-notch food and perfect location. Quite the hidden spot!

Wow. What a place. I mean they hunt their own truffles, what else can one ask for? The food is exquisite, the wine lost amazing. A perfect place to stop on the way to and from Cortona to Rome. To brothers who own and manage are waht the spirit of Italy is all about. You must try it.

First went over 10 years ago when it was a bar café - the brothers have now opened a wonderful Restaurant on the site - great food great service and a very relaxed vibe. They have now gained fame as truffle hunters and TV appearances etc but the place still feels so welcoming - Easy parking and plenty of table inside and out - keep it up guys - hopefully we will be back next year !

We've had a house in Umbria for 18 years and have eaten in many places in Tuscany and Umbria in that time and this is one of the best places we know. Great quality ingredients and cooking of really authentic and inventive food plus a great wine list.

This is truly one of the best restaurant experiences in the world! Where else can you get fresh truffles shaved onto your food table side? Michelle and Andrea are the most passionate and generous hosts. And the whole staff is a delight. Food and wine are 5-stars! Thank you!
