Overall a very nice experience, the place is a traditional family beard restaurant in the middle of the town. It offers unsophisticated and home made style meals with local ingredients.
They have daily dishes and the food is always freshly made. The service is friendly.
Be aware that you need to book in advance and you need to check the opening times, it's a small town and they have a rigid working schedule.
Their prices are a bit cheaper when ordering as take away.

If you live in Citta della Pieve, the daily bread, laugh, spill, gossip, and water is Serenella's. Expect kids, dogs, some noise, lots of people coming and going with pizza boxes and good old Mama's cooking. House wine is fine too. It's informal, but there will be tablecloths!

Excellent food and service. We ate lamb chops and some pasta with garlic ... with house wine. What an excellent dish and lovely place, reasonable pricing, highly recommend!

A hidden gem, and a must try, if you happen to be in the vicinity of Citte del Pieve.

Still family run and after visits over a 10 year period would still rank as the best Pizzza in Pieve - just … good vibe still has that quirky feel. Great food and value - thanks again - seems booking now advisable .

I came for the pizza, but they didn’t serve at lunch…I got the Rigatoni gratinati ai formaggi and it was delicious 😋 it doesn’t get any more authentic and affordable than this.

If you are a traditional dishes's seeker that's your place. The new paint has cast a brighter light in the interior which I wouldn't have done though.

Quel bonheur de se retrouver dans cette cantine (sans vouloir manquer de respect), pleine de locaux, habitués qui viennent soit retirer leur commande soit déjeuner sur place. L'établissement semble être tenu par la même direction depuis 50 ans déjà et dispose de 4 petites salles ce qui fait tout de même pas mal de couverts. Malgré cela le service est rapide et les plats servis sont parfaitement réussis. Il s'agit de cuisine traditionnelle italienne, sans surprise mais très efficace. L'ensemble dans une très bonne ambiance et avec des prix très honnêtes. Merci beaucoup à toute l'équipe, cuisine et salle. Expérience à renouveler très vite

Siamo in 4, per pranzo siamo arrivati alle 12:40 senza prenotare e dopo pochissimi minuti locale strapieno e gente che è dovuta andare da altea parte, consigliatissimo PRENOTARE.
Come primo abbiamo preso pici all'aglione, lasagna ai carciofi e orecchiette radicchio gorgonzola e noci.
Per secondo coniglio arrosto, lombo di natale al forno e pancetta di vitello in porchetta. Per contorno purè e pomodori gratinati.
Mangiato bene e prezzo onesto!!!

Locale tranquillo in centro paese. Informale, da trattoria di una volta. Pizza buona, cucina non provata perché non disponibile quella sera. Servizio accogliente e professionale. Prezzo ottimo. Da provare.

Buenísimo!!! Paramos en la area camper un par de días, cenamos y comimos en este restaurante. Relación calidad precio excelente , comida casera y trato muy bueno. Recomendable 100%
