The food was very light and amazing. We weren’t able to make reservations but we were seated right away. Great customer service and even better view, we will be coming back anytime we visit lake como!

Old school luxury and service. We selected the tasting menu and were delighted with the variety of dishes, the quality of ingredients and preparation, and of course, the service.

If you want to revisit an increasingly bygone age of sophistication and haute-cuisine prepared in surroundings that complement the food then this restaurant is a must try.

Pricey but the results are in the service and the food.

Expensive but top notch really.. Service is really impeccable and we unfortunately booked for the wrong day before so did not have a table but the hostess immediately told us not to worry and that she would try and find a solution. She told us she had a table which is actually THE BEST table the only thing is it was not covered if it would rain. We accepted with great pleasure and had the best dinner ever with the greatest view of the whole restaurant. So we very much appreciated that thank you again. Food wise it is really deli we had the golden risotto where they bring you the certificate for the gold traceability number can you believe it?! Then we had the veal rossini with the cooked foie on top which was very very impressive and delicious. Lastly the milfoglie was quite nice too. All in all we spent around 400 dollars which is quite a lot but you pay for the palace, the view, service and food so I think it’s worth it but for a special occasion :)

The service here was great, they were a bit slow at the start but it was very good once they started bringing the food. They start you off with a complementary egg that is both beautiful and delicious. We ordered the pasta with lobster and it was deliciously tomatoey, the claw on top was amazing. We also got the pasta with scallops and fish and it was absolutely delicious. Later we got the ossobucco with risotto. The risotto wasn’t great but the is ossobuco was amazing it would just melt in the mouth. We also had the steak with foie gras and it was great everything on the plate balanced well from all the ingredients working together and the sauce. Lastly we got the soufflé which was cooked to perfection and the dark chocolate sauce was perfect. Highly recommend going here for a lovely evening. There was a thunderstorm in the mountains in front and it was amazing to witness throughout dinner.

Beautiful view, I hardly recommend the risotto asparagi gorgonzola. The staff is very nice .

What an elegant space 👏 everything about this hotel is impressive but this restaurant in particular is an absolute pleasure to dine at. Magnificent views overlooking the lake, romantic set-up, welcoming and pleasant staff. Our main and desert dishes were prepared tableside which was both educational and very entertaining and ofcourse delicious. The wine list is also 👌

Classy hotel and likewise restaurant. It’s a great experience, which can be compared to being inside the Grand Budapest Hotel movie. Service excellent, food was delicious. Let’s not talk about the bill

After traveling and having many fine dining experiences in the US and Europe, we both agreed this was the finest of them all. The food was magnificently prepared. The sauces were to perfection. The service - spectacular. The change of fine dinnerware and signed silver flatware was special. The history behind Marchesi is worth the read prior to dining. Expensive but for those who appreciate fine dining, it is worth it.

Beautiful view. Wonderful service. Special shout to our very animatic funny waiter who prepared the crepe Suzette and entertained us the whole evening. The gold risotto is a must to try. Definitely worth a visit.

A really stunning meal, in the most beautiful setting with wonderful service. Some of the dishes are really jaw-dropping. It's definitely not cheap but worth a visit for a special occasion.

Great quality! And the service is outstanding. Great wines as well. Make sure to order your pasta al dente, mine was a little bit overcooked for Italian standards

Celebrating a special birthday, wonderful experience! Highly recommend. Food and atmosphere was incredible.

This was a Michelin star experience. No idea if they have one but certainly worthy. Execution of food was flawless and taste was extraordinary. Not for every week but every so often to center yourself on what should be the reference on the lake for fine cuisine.
