Such a unique find for dinner. Best view in the area! The staff are warm and welcoming to you; they make you feel right at home. If you're wanting a break from pasta and pizza, you've found it. Craving chicken?? you'll find some tasty options here. And I must mention that view again, it's breathtaking. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Very good - albeit rustic - food and super nice service! All tables were full but the waiter still treated us incredibly nicely - even changing us to a table with a better view after it emptied. He spoke a little bit of french, german and english and was very friendly and quick.
A warning for people without cars though: the restaurant is up on a hill and the climb from tremezzo is no joke.. it was definitely worth it for the amazing view though!!

Absolutely magical experience! The view coupled with simple, but delicious food at a reasonable price made our evening! We had the prosciutto melon and gnocchi. The rock-melon was really sweet and married nicely with the prosciutto. The gnocchi was soft and the flavor was mouth wateringly good!

The man who served us was really lovely. He was very patient with us - his English was limited and our Italian not-existent, but we managed to communicate quite well.

Highly recommend - we'll be back tomorrow!

The food was nice. We tried the rabbit meat and the mixed cheese plate, and the lasagna.
Dessert was not to our expectations, unfortunately.
The view is marvelous though.

We had a great experience, with an unconmparable view and very good and local food. It's a good sign when even the small things as tomatoes with cheese are intensive and flavourfull an served with love. Unpretentious and authentic place with very good products. Thank you for the nice evening.

We came here for dinner after spending our day in Bellagio and we loved this restaurant. Very authentic local Italian cuisine just a little bit off the main path. The waiter did not speak much English but he was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The food was very good and the view from the terrace was amazing. We plan on going back.

A lovely little restaurant which is well worth a visit. The balcony view is stunning but the food is the star; real home cooked goodness. The gnocchi was lovely, the pana cotta is beautiful. The waiters English is a bit broken but he does well really. Take an evening and just go and see.

Not to many such places left in Italy. Simple and very good Italian cuisine. Locally made cheese. Very unique rustic atmosphere of Italian house. Very nice and easy going service. Must visit and ask for house made cheese. Family business. Very good value for money.

We ate at Trattoria Rana on 08Jul16 and had a great meal. It was our family of 5's last meal in Italy. We sat out on the narrow veranda with a magnificent view of the lake. The food, the wine, the ambiance and the owners were excellent. I had the rabbit on the bone, which was succulent and juicy. The food is all home made and genuine. The house red wine was also very good. An all round excellent eating experience. Pity the owner is a Milan fan (I support Juve).

An absolutely incredible experience in a very rustic restaurant. The food was very simple but extremely delicious - the gnocchi in particular were heavenly. I would definitely recommend this place. I wish we were staying longer so we could go again!

A special retreat away from the busy streets of Como.

We arrived early on the Sunday evening anxious of whether or not we would get a table. We were greeted by the owner who was able to show us to our table outside. The view was phenomenonal and so peaceful. The food was the best we've ever had in Como.

You HAVE to try the cheese board and tirimisu. Simply the best, along with the 1 litre of house wine for a steal at 8 euro.

An authentic little family restaurant nestled in the hills of Tremezzo. A tranquil escape from the buzzy promenade, with incredible views from the terrace. You will need a car, and don't expect to order in english - but the hostess is very patient with broken Italian. The food is simple but delicious, I recommend the rabbit. Don't leave without having desert or you'll really be missing out!

This is as local as you can get. Very traditional dishes with a lot of ingredients made in house or nearby. The wine is local, the spicy olive oil is made by them and the waiter's brother makes the pasta. They even have a dish with a cheese they make themselves. You really get the feel of an old Italian restaurant, like eating at someone's house. We just loved the feel and the food, including dessert which was excellent and all for really low prices.

The food was absolutely incredible and the service was excellent. We had a large party and they took excellent care of us.

Great location on the hills of Tremezzo. So simple, but so good. Fast service and dito staff. You should visit this place if you just want to eat, nothing more..

Simply loved this place! Food was very authetic and home cooked and Fabrizio made us feel very welcome every time. We loved this place so much we went back the next night! Stunning views of the lake as well. Can't recommend this place highly enough!!!
