Botanical Garden of Villa Carlotta

What a charm!
The botanical gardens are extremely well kept, safe and with ample information and signs throughout the way.
The garden offers two different walking trails, depending on the time available by the visitors. We took the long walk, even though the weather was inclement and it was a very good experience nonetheless.
The villa museum is also a beautiful place in itself.

Beautiful garden, even in late winter. 699 species of plants and an olive garden plus a lovely panoramic view. Recommend you also stop by the cafe for a quick espresso

This is a must when visiting Lake Como area. This property is amazing. Take time to wonder the incredible gardens. It was so relaxing.

This is one of the best botanical gardens that I have ever visited! There are numerous exotic plants and trees as well as some artificial waterfalls and springs. It is really beautiful and large. There is a spectacular views of lake Como especially from the top of the hill with the olive trees. Be prepared to spend at least a good couple hours here or more. It is worth it for everyone of all ages as there is a paved path for you to lead your walk around.

Beautiful experience. Worth going for the long route if you are passionate about flowers and trees. Bring your trail shoes or sneakers, this is not a fashion walkway.

Wonderful experience!! Within the magical environment of the Como lake, there's this wonderful villa with it's huge botanical garden. In the villa you can admire statues and pictures of various artists, then you can go outside in the gardens, where a wonderful path will lead you in the most peaceful and romantic environment ever.

Amazing place full of different varieties of plants, very well kept and diverse. 1 hour of relax with beautiful views on Como lake. Take the full trip and you won't regret.

This is an absolute must. The ferry ride from Bellagio is stunning and the grounds of the villa are immaculate, diverse colourful and interesting. I spent 2.5 hours walking round. The working Olive Grove is lovely

Beautiful place in Menaggio, must visit to experience the unique beauty and tranquility. Plus the views are amazing.

Beautifully well kept. Lots to see and learn. Full of historical art and sculptures. Also, vantage items and jewelery. A koy and a turtle pond.
Bring your comfortable walking shoes, it's mostly upward, even the main building is up. A spectacular view of Lake Come is well presented. A date to share the experience. If you must, the kids and the leashed dog will enjoy the exercise with plenty of seats along your paths.

Stunning location, beautiful historic villa and botanical gardens. Highly recommend visiting.
