Podere Brughee

We stayed at Podere Brughee for our wedding week. We had a very small intimate wedding and it was the perfect amount of space for us and our guests! There was tons to do at the house and in the area. Giuseppe was a great host and so helpful with recommendation. He made sure our stay was perfect! I can't forget to mention the animals!! They're so friendly and nice, our younger guests has so much fun getting to meet them. We also held a brunch at the house to end our trip and it was wonderful. Giuseppe worked closely with our caterer to make sure every was set up beautifully - it was amazing. Definitely recommend this place for your next stay! I can't wait to come back :)

Podere Brughee is a vacation in heaven. The rooms are spacious and clean, the bathrooms are plentiful, the pool and hot tub are wondrous after a long day of walking, and the host, Guiseppe, is a wonderful person. He truly went above and beyond in all aspects. He had suggestions on amazing places to eat (even made reservations for us) and was always around when we got into a pinch. Can’t recommend this vacation enough.

This place is amazing! The house is spacious with 3 levels, plenty of private and public space for everyone, both inside and out. 2 well equipped kitchens, huge dining area, washing machine and dryer, Jacuzzi, sauna, ping pong table and much more! The grounds are pastoral, surrounded by pastures of farm animals, chestnut trees, and beautiful vistas. There were several nature hikes minutes’ walk from the gate. It’s a short walk to the enchanting village, where you can meander the narrow lanes, passageways and stairways. A short drive to stores, restaurants, the lake ferry and many hikes, walks, and beautiful views. I couldn’t recommend this place more! It made our family vacation truly special. thank you Giuseppe

This place is amazing. Spacious, well maintained, good quality appliances.
The amenities are great for family groups - swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, table tennis, table football.
Plenty of towels provided for rooms and pool towels for outside.
Giuseppe was a great host. Answered queries and showed us how to use a few things. Also met us at the gate late to let us in on arrival (flight times).
We’ve already booked to go back next year!

A fantastic place to stay at Lake Como. The house is big enough for a large group of people, including young children. The pool area is surrounded by a fence. Almost to every bedroom is a bathroom attached and there are two washing machines with an additional dryer. The house is perfectly equipped and offers plenty of sitting areas, inside and outside. Also it gives room for privacy. The host was super responsive and hospitable. I would definitely go there again!

Best villa I've every stayed. We were 8 young professionals decided to work remotely from some beautiful place. This villa works perfectly for us: villa is huge (each of us have own room), it is old and stylish, furniture and equipment are new, internet connection is good (skype meetings without problems), plenty of places where you can hide and work (jacuzzi, pool, garden, benches in the backyard, etc.) View from the pool and jacuzzi is gorgeous, hiking trails next to the house, couple of good restaurants in the walkable distance, or plenty in 10 minutes driving. Our host, Guiseppe, was super responsive and helpful. Going to comeback with my family for holidays.

Nice location for our company retreat! We really enjoyed the week in this typical house in the north of Italy. The householder was very attentive and took care of all our needs. The whole house was very well equipped and big: there was enough living space for each one of us. The bathrooms were very new like everything else and the Sauna was really great!

Fantastic stay! Super clean, wonderful area, awesome views, right next to a paddock with friendly animals, clean pool and hot tub and a great sauna. It was great for kids as they had a lot of space to run around. The house has all necessary amenities and Giuseppe was really responsive to anything we needed.

We just returned home from our trip to Italy and I miss this place already. Describing t as Amazing doesn’t do it justice. The home is enormous! Plenty of room for our party of 5 adults and 3 children! We could have easily fit 15-20 people. It was clean, easy to find with the instructions that were provided at booking. The house is 5 minutes from everything in the area! Our kids loved waking up to see the animals. It was even warm enough one day for them to swim in the pool which they loved!! Giuseppe was a gracious host. He brought us fire wood so that we could grill out and was always available for anything we needed. The day we were checking out there was a land slide on the main road we were taking to return our rental car. Before I had even woke up, Giuseppe texted to notify us and gave me an alternate route to take. Had he not done this we would have never known about the land slide and would have very delayed returning our car. Don’t hesitate to book this place! The pictures don’t do it justice!

My new wife and I stayed here with our families for our wedding week. The villa was 3 minutes from the park where we had our ceremony and Andrea was nice enough to allow us to have the reception in the backyard. The villa worked out more perfectly than we could have even dreamed! Everyone in the family complimented us on finding such a nice place to stay!
Along with the villa being amazing, it’s very close to the lake where we frequented cute shops and restaurants. The owners and servers of the restaurants actually became very familiar with us - one of the restaurants even delivered food for our reception! We couldn’t have had a better time! We definitely hope to return soon!

Giuseppe what can we say? The expectations from all of us was high but your Villa managed to surpass them. From the peaceful setting on the hill to the wonderful swimming pool, jacuzzi, and sauna. The Villa was clean and well maintained. We spent many hours on the patio and managed to let the surroundings along with the cows, donkeys, and horses relax us. You have a jem in a wonderful setting. Thank you for this amazing experience! We’ll be back!

great place for our stay with 3 families (7 kids from 1-8 yrs of age). pool, jacuzzi & sauna area is separated by a gate which makes it very safe for small kids. easy hikes, beautiful landscapes, lots of animals. the perfect family holiday.

A truly amazing villa - the best few days break wish we could have stayed longer. The host was extremely helpful at all times - went above and beyond! Would definitely recommend!

Spent a really nice week at this location during December for a company retreat. House is very well equipped, two missing things in the kitchen were bought instantly by Fabrizio, who generally looked very well after us. The remoteness has helped us to work focussed without being distracted. Sauna and table tennis were great in the leisure time..

Giuseppe was an outstanding host. The villa was stunning and the facilities were perfect. Giuseppe was incredibly helpful, even driving us to the supermarket and down into Tremezzo when we asked. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect weekend!

The Podere Brughee was the perfect place for our group to spend a long weekend. The house had everything we needed. The location was great for our dogs & we were walking distance to the city & beach. Would recommend!

Beautiful character place, wonderful hosts. It has all amenities one needs with lots of friendly animals, peace and quiet and everything else that one needs to enjoy with a group of friends. We will definitely be back soon!

The place is amazing with kids and with adults only. The host helps with everything! Everything is clean and they take care of recycling. Jacuzzi under the stars and between the mountains is an experience :)

Great villa to stay with friends or family, very spacious and well equipped. The bonus is that you have farm animals next to it so you can see horses, cows and donkeys just few meters away.
