We had an amazing time. Great location, service was amazing. The food was incredible. Made with fresh ingredients from their garden. It is a quaint and gorgeous bed and breakfast with lake side view. Centrally located in front of the ferry stop.
We are definitely coming back!!!! The host made us feel like we were home.

Awesome Italian Villa in a magnificent location so close to all the boats you will need to take to see Lake Como! Wonderful down to earth , friendly people running the hotel! We will be back! Wonderful home cooked meals just cooked for us!! Free parking as well! We are in love withthis romantic , quaint place..reminds me of a Hallmark movie site!

Right from the start of the reservation process it was perfect. Communication with Paolo was prompt and accurate… and changing a few arrangements around dates etc. required flexibility and certainty as well. Fantastic job on reservations and reception.
The property is a gem. Almost surreal and in a time warp where things are relaxed, slower paced and totally functional at an excellent level. Well laid out and a feeling of space. Spotlessly clean, wonderfully maintained inside and out making it an extraordinary experience… very rare in these times… impossible at 3 stars!
The garden has pots of orchids around the well cared for plantings, pool is excellent, terrace makes you think you are right on the lake, parking is right there (amazing on the lake road).
Back to all the staff… totally reflective of the venue… serene, friendly, accommodating and a total pleasure for us to be there.

Probably one of the most interesting hotels I have stayed in. Built in the mid 19. century, it has retained it´s charm, comfort and atmosphere, at this perfect location for lake Como exploration.
It´s only 3-5 minutes walk from the people/car ferry over to Bellagio from where you can then take waterbus to almost anywhere on the lake. It has a beautiful garden with a small pool where you can enjoy the view over to Bellagio an further.
The host, Paolo is exceptionally helpful and friendly and makes sure you enjoy the stay. Rooms are large and clean and bed comfortable.
This is the hotel where I´ll stay for any future visits to lake Como.

My wife and I spent a lovely weekend at the villa. We booked the superior front lake view room and the view is just gorgeous. Because the room is facing the lake, it's also facing the road as well. We were provided with earbuds so we had no problem with the noise. The room is very spotless and well maintained. The location is also convenient to get to places. It's just 2 mins walk from the ferry where you can get to Bellagio or Varenna. It's 2 mins walk to Villa Carlotta. It also comes with free parking if you drive. They also provide dinner for a fee. The food quality was great and you will not be disappointed. We accidentally left a pair of shoes in the room after we checked out. Paolo kept it safe for us to pick up. Thank you Paolo! We would def recommend this place to our friends and choose to stay again if we come back next time.

My husband and I stayed at Villa la Mirabella for six nights for our honeymoon and it was absolutely fantastic. The trip was last August but we still talk about how wonderful the stay was. Paolo was so kind and helpful. From arranging a comfortable car for us when we landed in Milan, to serving a beautiful breakfast each day as we look over the lake, he was incredible. The room, bed, and bathroom were comfortable and clean. The food was delicious (both breakfast and dinner), and the drinks were yummy and better priced than anywhere else on the lake. The pool was also such a secluded treat. Also, the location was nice. Out of the super touristy area but still accessible via ferry, walking, or by bus. 5 stars all around.

Absolutely amazing, couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We were in town for a wedding down the street and it was a perfect location. Not touristy or crowded but with a ferry right across the way to go to Bellagio. Wonderful little bfast included. Paolo was great. The pool is amazing. There’s parking included. We didn’t have time to partake in the dinner. We stayed in the Mirabella room with a balcony and a beautiful view. It was amazing, I can’t say enough good things.

Our stay at the Villa Mirabella was the most pleasant experience. This cute villa located across from the lake is the most charming and “homey” accommodation in Griante. The views of the lake from the room are spectacular. Paolo and all of the staff were super accommodating and made us feel at home away from home. Amazing experience!!

We traveled through Italy for 14 days this summer, and Paolo and the Villa la Mirabella were one of the highlights of the trip. The villa is a beautiful hotel with clean rooms, a charming feel, and incredible views. Breakfast included various local produce items each morning, and the view from the patio we ate on was rivaled only by the view from the pool. The villa is very accessible by ferry (5 minute walk to Cadenabbia dock and 15 to Tremezzo), making it a great home base to visit other towns on the lake, although there are plenty of restaurants and a few attractions within walking distance as well. Even without all this, we would recommend the Villa la Mirabella to anyone based on the service and hospitality alone. Paolo was incredibly kind and attentive during our visit. He treated us like family, and it was clear he treated all the other guests the same way. Thank you, Paolo!

Perfect location to discover the lake area, excellent family hotel with amazing view on Como Lake. Rooms are very comfortable, clean, and very charming. The all staff is extremely kind, friendly, helpful and professional. The garden, the patio and the terrace of the villa are very relaxing, you immediately feel home. We spent an incredible week! The perfect little place on the most perfect lake. The staff are so attentive and friendly. They had answers to all our many questions. The food is amazing, the view breathtaking, and the grounds were stunning.

A beautiful Villa with gorgeous views. The staff are wonderful . Breakfast is delicious. Very convenient as it is close to bus stops and ferry terminals. Thank you very! Would highly recommend.

The loveliest stay - Pablo was always there to greet us after returning from the day’s activities and provide helpful recommendations. The small but mighty crew there makes you feel like an extension of family. The breakfast and cappuccino each morning was delightful, great way to start the day. Comfy beds and great views from all rooms. Truly loved this quaint and historic villa, highly recommend!

This is such an overdue review of this hotel, but it is simply amazing. My husband and I had our wedding in Lake Como and stayed with our friends and family in this Villa. Paolo and the entire staff of Villa la Mirabella are incredible people who are just so ridiculously good at what they do. We were really thinking of booking the Grand Hotel Tremezzo, which is a 5 star hotel just down the street and we are so happy that we didn't and stuck with Villa la Mirabella.

From the beginning, Paolo was amazing. We told him we were interested in hosting our guests for our wedding at this hotel and he was so incredibly accommodating. We were visiting Lake Como in March, before Villa La Mirabella opens, and I told him we would be there. He offered to give us a tour of the property without us even asking before it was open.
The property is insanely gorgeous, but even more than that, it is cozy and homey feeling. While we were there it just felt like I was in a giant house with all of my friends, and despite it looking like it belongs in a museum it never felt like it.

When it came to the actual wedding, Paolo not only took care of us, hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner there flawlessly, and kept a positive "no problem" demeanor throughout, but he also took care of all my friends more than I have ever experienced in any other hotel. He often knew that a friend's flight was delayed before I did, was coordinating their travel, and made sure that everyone was comfortable.

Honestly, I can go on and on and on about how amazing this experience was for us. I am forever grateful to everyone at Villa la Mirabella. Everything they did contributed to some amazing life time memories, and we cannot wait to go back. If you have the option to stay at this hotel, you absolutely must. And tell Paolo I say hi (and thank you again).

We stayed at Villa la Mirabella in July for my friend's wedding and it was absolutely gorgeous. I cannot say enough good things about this place!
Paolo and all other staff were extremely hospitable, and the views and surroundings were breathtaking. From the very first email exchange with Paolo to checkout, we were treated with utmost hospitality and cordiality. The driver, Carla, who Paolo arranged to bring us from the airport to the Villa, was also amazing. The rooms, pool, food, and other amenities were second to none. I hope to return someday!

Such a great experience staying at this hotel! We had a booking at another hotel down the road and found bugs in the bed when we got there. We called Villa la Mirabella and they got us right in, last minute! The front desk is so friendly and goes out of their way to make your experience the best. Highly recommended!

Albergo Villa la Mirabella is a great place located at the center of Como Lake. A beautiful and peaceful place with very kind personal, a great vieuw, comfortable and pretty rooms, close to the ferry to Bellagio and Varenna and easy to walk or drive to Menaggio.
Good restaurants around and in close by Mennagio like for instance restaurant Divino 13 and bars like bar Gelateria il Gabbiano.
A good touristic place on walking distance is Villa Carlotta with an amazing garden.
I highly advice Albergo Villa la Mirabella.

In my life I stay in a lot of hotels. You get used to most of them, but sometimes there is An absolute suprise. This is one of them. Here is everything in balance. Quality, facilities, atmosphere, pricing and friendliness.
What can I say? It's a family property and you can see and feel it in everything. Paolo and his family are so kind!
The swimming pool is beautiful, as is the house. But what is absolutely Incredible is the food. I am 1/3th of the year in Italy and I have never eaten so good as in La Mirabella. Absoluty amazing! Hopefully this place stays how it is with the great family, amazing cooking and with all kindness. Grazie mille!

Beautiful little hotel. Air conditioner wasnt great. Shower small af but it's like that in Europe. Staff was amazing. View spectacular.
