Relais Santa Anastasia

Perfect if you want away from it all. Spectacular location amazing wine at amazing prices. Restaurant food excellent. Gioacchino the resident wine expert, made us feel incredibly welcome and gave wine to compliment every dish. Staff fantastic, service fantastic. The drive to get from the road takes 10 minutes and quite hard on car suspension.

Third time here and this time with family - intended to stay just one night and then the remainder at a rented villa but we had to change plans and they managed to accomoodate us. The location is spectacular, the food is excellent - the wine (organic and made on the premises) is superb and most importantly the staff, without exception are warm, friendly and welcoming - the only slightly underwhelming aspect is the rooms, they are a bit old-fashioned and a little dark but it is a converted medieval abbey so it would be unfair to expect anything different, besides, all the other good points more than make up for it. We are already planning a return visit for next year - they deserve a five star review but I really didn't want to leave one as I don;t want too many people to find out about this place!

Perched on a hillside surrounded by vineyards up a long drive from the road this is an amazing experience; we did the visit to the winery followed by a meal with accompanying wines. The place is lovely, the architecture a mixture of restored old building with a new winery structures and a nice garden surrounding the building. The food and service was great. We did not stay here but did look at the swimming pool and guest areas and they looked superb.

We did not stay at the hotel, we travelled in from Cefalú for the food & wine experience at the restaurant. It was great. We were so full at the end and the wine pairings were awesome. We spent some time on the property before dinner which was beautiful. The pool area made me wish we booked a night at the hotel. All of the staff were very friendly, especially Francesco who helped us at dinner. I would definitely recommend coming for dinner if you are in the area. We might even stay a couple days next time.

Very charming hotel on a beautiful location. The people at the reception were very friendly and always willing to help or provide information.

The food at the restaurant was amazing. The staff was very experienced and friendly. The sommelier was always willing to pair the food with the (excellent) wines produced at the winery.

Swimming pool was very neat and spacious.

Really nice place. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The whole grounds look cool. Only the coffee Americano at the breakfast can be improved. The rest of the breakfast is nice. The dinner restaurant is also nice.

We visited this vineyard at the beginning of November and the middle of the week for the tour and wine tasting. It was basically a personal experience, there was one more family with us during the tour and we were alone at the wine tasting. We basically had our personal waiter 👌.
In the restaurant the food is really special, prepared by a chef, there are several courses, so it would be nice to know the etiquette in such places. The venue itself is kind of "old Italy" rustic and haven't been renovated recently, but we liked it, a bit of a movie like experience.

We stayed for four days. Initial impressions weren't great - the place is in need of a refresh - but actually the longer we stayed the more we enjoyed it. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the wine tour was informative (and tasty!), the location was perfect, and the food was excellent! We were sad to leave by the end of our stay. This place has a very unique charm that will grow on you!

Very lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings. Ideal for relaxing. The pool is big and very clean and there are plenty of sunbeds. We stayed in a three persons room and had plenty of space. The overall experience including dinner was excellent - the only minor dissapointment was the breakfast - bread was dry and not a lot of variety.

Location, food and service is absolutely world class. However the rooms are decent at most. One of our best experiences in Italy ever.

My husband Jack and I were married in the vineyard at Relais Santa Anastasia in July 2023. Our wedding was an absolute dream and we loved every second at the resort. We want to say a special thank you to the friends we made along the way- the incredible staff! Giovanni, Giachino, Francesco, and Claudio, took extra good care of us. Santa Anastasia is a treasure surrounded by the mountains and sea. Our room was beautiful and comfortable and every meal we had at the resort was delicious and crafted with care. If you want to go into full relaxation-mode, this is THE place. The staff is absolutely superb: super friendly, everything is possible, nothing but compliments. The food is fantastic, including the wine.

Please note that this place has a specific style in terms of decoration. If you don’t like it, book a more trendy hotel (I think it fits perfectly with the location and its old buildings). Also, if you want to have a lot to do in near surroundings, then book something in a village or town.

We've visited Santa Anastasia as a tour for Wine tasting. It was very good experience. First we were shown and explained how and where they are producing organic wine and than we went for a wine tasting. Great experience. If you love wine, don't hasitate. Owner is very friendly and funny, so we had a really nice afternoon.
You can buy their wine in the small shop and enjoy beautiful views of Sicilian nature and mountains.

Secluded retreat in a quiet setting. Rooms are nice and staff are friendly and helpful. Dinner at the on site restaurant was good too.

It was an extraordinary venue for a family wedding. The staff were amazing. their attention to detail was exceptional. The scenery was phenomenal.

I was surprised how good the food was, if you're a foodie you might have looked up the two bib gourmand restaurants in castelbuono, but the food at this hotel was far superior. That, alongside with the beautiful hotel and winery, doesn't get better.
