Delicious food in a cosy setting with a friendly, family-run atmosphere. Everything we ate was great – mushrooms pop up often on the menu and were all beautifully cooked. Try the antipasti degustation for two: it could have been a full meal in itself!

The restaurant is situated in a small picturesque alley beside from the main road and has a focus on mushrooms (from the Madonnie mountains).

Great Michelin star restaurant, really good food, especially if you like mushrooms. I really liked testing vegetarian menu that you can make vegan.
It was only 35 euros.

Was a really pleasant experience having Easter lunch in this traditional restaurant in Castelbuono. It was a Menu based on the tradition of the area: lamb, mushrooms, asparagus. All perfectly prepared, with attention to details. Perfect service, perfect food, perfect place, a price that is absolutely competitive. If you're planning a trip around Sicily it's worthwhile to have this in your list of places to visit.

Good was extremely good. Order anything with mushrooms. They are master! we tried 5 different dish and they were all simply amazing.

Amazing lunch! Great service, perfect portions, we're going back for dinner before we leave if they have space :) sure not the prettiest food but under the smoked cheese was a pile of local greens and mushrooms. My partner had the cacio e Pepe with truffles. We've eaten a lot worse for similar prices in Sicily. Plenty of veg options and a whole meat section too. Can't wait to return.

Super friendly staff, an always-available owner on the spot, abd decent food. Definitely an "upper class" place in the local society, reservation is strongly advised.
Oh, and dont forget to try the mushrooms! :)

What a pleasant surprise... don't miss-it! Cool, cosy and an interesting choice of dishes. Wines have their resting place here too! This was my best choice in Sicily so far. I would move upstairs that place!

This restaurant was the best restaurant we ate in Sicilia, and we went to a lot of cities. I asked for a great Etna wine, and the boss brought me the perfect wine, for a very good price. I really recommend to go eat in this restaurant. You have a great choice of wines and also of different foods. I took the entrecote and for in Italy, this was a great choice.

Great variety of food and excellent quality.
The staff is very kind and welcomes you with some warm bread and local olive oil while you wait for your main course.
They offer the option of a tasting experience or you can just eat a la carte.
Mushrooms are very popular and they even offer an appetizer with 5 different samples of mushroom based dishes.
But from what I saw, you cannot go wrong with any of their dishes.

Nice restaurant in the heart of Castelbuono with local food and nice hospitality.
Strongly suggested the mushroom taste experience and the pig tail with almonds, pistacchi and manna.

Dinner was fantastic and the staff are truly attentive to details. The pork covered in pistachio with mashed potato was a perfect combination.

One of the best meals I had in Italy was at this restaurant. The Chef picks wild mushrooms which are featured on the menu. The lunch I had here was simply wonderful.
