Casale del Nonno

We stayed at Casale Del Nonno in May and just had absolutely the most wonderful time. Mariana, Jessica, the shuttle driver, the dinner and breakfast chefs, and the waiter were all extremely kind and caring people. I highly recommend their dinner options. On our last morning before heading to the airport, the breakfast chef saw us leaving before sunrise and gave us a box of warm croissants and pastries. They really just went out of their way in all regards to make sure we were comfortable and welcome. The location is absolutely stunning as well.

Me and my partner loved this place. It was a great escape from the busy streets of the centre. The breakfast in the morning was all homemade cakes and tarts, they made fresh eggs any way you wanted them. The receptionist was really friendly and approachable and quick to respond to questions. The shuttle bus is such a great idea meaning you can get into town, have some drinks and get back safely. The driver was always punctual. All the staff was so friendly and accommodating too, we ate at the restaurant and had an incredible deal for a 3 course meal and a bottle of wine. I loved the donkeys the most though! They were very sweet. Only downsides are that it is quite difficult to find and the road leading up to the property is really narrow so not the best for drivers who aren’t confident. Also the water wasn’t working when we first arrived due to a broken pipe, but it was fixed the following day after and I presume isn’t a common occurrence. I’ve recommended this place to friends :)

We had a fantastic 3 days at the Casale del Nono. Beautiful and peaceful location with great views of Sorento and the Gulf of Naples. Amazing delicious food prepared daily with fresh ingredients mostly grown in the property's garden. The very friendly staff were always ready to accommodate our needs. Even the two cute donkeys were friendly :) We miss it already. We highly recommend and would stay there again should we return to Sorento. Ciao

Posto difficile da raggiungere inizialmente perché il navigatore ti porta su una strada omonima a quella del casale tutta in salita e ripida e stretta dove ho rischiato di rovinare la macchina per fare inversione di marcia e poter tornare indietro. Una volta arrivata, dopo essermi persa almeno tre volte, posso dire che il casale é bello, anche raffinato, pieno di ulivi ,limoni aranci e animali. Una menzione speciale va a Roberto e le sue preziose attenzioni nei nostri confronti. Una persona speciale, oltre che molto cortese e disponibile, che fornisce un servizio navetta essenziale per poter visitare il centro in tranquillità e serenità. Roberto ci ha aiutato molto tutto il tempo del nostro soggiorno.
Ambienti puliti e piscina immersa tra limoni e aranci.

Highly overrated accommodation. In the middle of nowhere, hard to find (by car). Wrong directions of the staff. Room with a view on a wall! Bad service; unexperienced, young staff. They could not make a cappuccino, come on we are in Italy!

Kamer was donker en vochtig met nagenoeg geen daglicht. Locatie is zeer moeilijk te bereiken (via smalle weggetjes). Ontbijt was niet goed. Personeel spreekt geen Engels.
