Bar Gelateria Stella Alpina

Friendly, family owned bar and gelateria off the beaten path in Mennagio! We stopped in here to quench our thirst after hiking up to the Chiesetta Delhi Alpini and we’re so glad we did. The best spritz I’ve had in Italy, enjoyed on a charming terrace… and by far the most wonderful gelato! Grazie!

A true hidden gem is the Gelateria Stella Alpina. We came across after our hike to la Crocetta. The owner speaks English and recommended us a "surprise" sundeae. A bowl full of finest fresh strawberries with homemade vanilla, chocolate and milk icecream. During our one week stay probably the best icecream around lake Como.
The espresso was also great. We highly recommend this gelateria!

Loved this place (we stayed a few doors down for a week). Great for a morning espresso after a walk up the hill and at night to grab gelato. One of the best parts of our trip to Lake Como!

Typical Italian bar run by a lovely family. The best ice cream in the area, made by them! Great wine and great food.

Best Ice Cream in Menaggio !! Friendly Local Bar run by a family, Fabrizio and his wife Eva in Croce the top part of Menaggio with plenty of parking and free wi-fi . Extremely good ice cream a good selection of drinks and beers and hot or cold snacks avalabile (if you are lucky you can ask and the will make you pasta) There is also the possibilty to see sports on the TV . Golf is very popular as croce is the home to Italys second oldest Golf course .Highly recomended !!

Wir sind zufällig hier vorbei gekommen - ein glücklicher Zufall!
Eine kleine Eisdiele mit super nettem Chef. Er spricht ziemlich gut englisch, war also alles kein Problem. Weil wir uns nicht entschieden könnten, was wir wollen, haben einen "Überraschungsbecher" bekommen: ein riesiger Eisbecher mit ca. 200g allerbester Erdbeeren - in Deutschland wäre da sicher ein Erdbeerbecher-Zuschlag fällig gewesen!

dopo 20 mi son fermato a prendere un gelato in zona , devo dire che era molto buono e complimenti al proprietario , scambiato due parole di altri locali in zona conosciuti , penso di ritornarci volentieri gelato ottimo .

Unvergesslich gutes Eis. Ich war 2016 hier und hab es sofort wiedergefunden. Und das Eis ist noch immer so toll.

Gerente simpatico e bici-friendly, birra (anche artigianale!) molto buona, toast sfiziosi. Cosa vuoi di più quando hai fame dopo un lungo giro in bici!

Super guter und günstiger Cappuccino 1,50€. Eis ist ebenfalls ein Hochgenuss und durch das Heimische Flair nochmals besser!

Proprietari molto cortesi e simpatici! Le brioches sono squisite! E il sabato trovate i migliori "Maritozzi". Consigliatissimo!!!!

Fantastisch Paris Paris is de tip van de eeuw en na 27 jaar exact nog net zo lekker als in de herinnering.

Luogo e titolari molto accoglienti, gelato di qualità, locale riccio di calore. Selezione di vini molto interessante.
