Hotel Bellavista

We stayed here a few years back and it was fantastic. So much so that we've not been able to rebook because it's always full!
Room was amazing, with double doors opening on to Lake Como.
Parking is over the road and pretty tight! But staff were friendly and helpful!
The local area is brilliant and it's a perfect base for exploring the area.

This is a nice, cozy and super convenient to the ferry and the area is romantic as well.

The rooms had a very cozy and Modern look with everything you need and I had a hill/Mountain View. Which was amazing all through out of the day.

The halls and everything else had an authentic Italian feeling.

Their staff were super polite, helpful and welcoming

LOVED this hotel! Super friendly, fabulous help at front desk, the rooms were well equipped with lots of space to unpack & yet quiet. We were fortunate to get one of the rooms with the massive balcony with our friends in the next room with the big balcony too. Had a wonderful time & the location to town, the ferry & the bus was really close. I cried when we left because the view was so amazing I didn't want to leave.

Hotel Bellavista was a fantastic Lake Como stay! We had a room with the small balcony option and the views did not disappoint! The hotel and rooms were clean, comfortable and very conveniently located. The hotel is right on a bus stop and about a three minute walk from the ferry stop. It was also a two minute walk from a beautiful little plaza with great food options. We loved staying here!

Was the best hotel. I e stayed everywhere and I mean everywhere. There 3 stars in the door is a mask for their real identity as a 5 star amazing friendly family run business. This small hotel ON THR LAKE left hand side, as you head south is just the best. Arrived after a hard days rally, passports over, the lady said oh “happy birthday” we have been so busy I’d sort of forgotten by this time of night. 2 minutes later a tap in shoulder from the hotel manager 🍾🥂 😱. Enjoy 😊 on the house. The rooms were large basically put together with a nice finish, but what you have come for is to open the window and let the wow factor hit you, the lake, then you go to 🚽 loo and yes again open the door Windows for that view. Late a night it rained and there was a sad cloud 🌧 raining in the middle of the lake, it was amazing to see at 0530, later on that morning clear and beautiful. Stunning location a must go hotel. We’ve booked to go back, but for longer than one night. Thank you.

We had a fantastic time at the Bellavista Hotel in Menaggio. We felt it was worth the money, especially given the cleanliness of the rooms. The stunning view from the breakfast area, looking over the lake and mountains, was a highlight of our mornings. We also really loved the pool, which was right next to the breakfast area and shared the same great view. The hotel's location is perfect - it's near the port where you can catch a boat to Bellagio, Varenna, or other nearby towns. The town centre, with its inviting cafes and restaurants, is just a 3-minute walk away - perfect for dinner or a leisurely evening stroll by the lake. If you need groceries, there's a Conad supermarket a short 7-minute walk away. Next time, we plan to book a room with a lake view, as our street-side room was a bit noisy at night. But overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return to this wonderful hotel.

There is a bus station directly next to the hotel which make it easy to go to other places

Also ferry station is close like 3 min walk.

My husband and I had a wonderful 3 night stay at the hotel bellavista, front desk staff were very kind and our room was clean with a beautiful view, staff helped us with our transfer to Milan as well. The location was perfect, and we enjoyed spending our afternoons by the pool overlooking the lake. The same can not be said about the hotel restaurant staff unfortunately.

Good experience. The best of the hotel are the views. Amizing views to the lake where you can enjoy your breaksfast. Big and very cleans rooms with huge beds. Exceptional location, just 1 minute walking to the city centre. There, you can discover typical italian food.

Excellent facility and friendly staff. Large room with great view of Lake Como from our large balcony. Restaurant was very nice. A mini-refrigerator was not present in the rooms which was surprising. The bathroom was large but the shower was still typically small as in most European hotels.. We would recommend Hotel Bellavista to friends.

Great hotel, right on the lake, balconies with breathtaking views. The decor is a little dated but the rooms are clean and comfortable. Sitting around the pool with a beer is great. Friendly, helpful staff.

Didn't stay here but came for lunch. We had pasta and creme brulee and it was fantastic. Service was excellent and they were great with our 5 month old baby.

We had lunch here on a day visit. The thing that appeals was a very nice terrace with a great lake view. It was a very pleasant tranquil place with excellent food. Much better than most restaurants around the lake. If I came to Menaggio again I would want to eat here.

We stayed here for 2 days... everything was great and we had wonderful time... great view and a modern and well equipped room... The staff were extremely helpful... We arrived late and there was no ferry. Paula arranged for a driver to pick us up from Varenna... Very accommodating and kind... I highly recommend hotel Bellavista

Lovely hotel with great location on the lake, in the centre of Menaggio. We had an attic lake-view room be the view was *gorgeous*. A good 3* hotel, recommended!
