Bluestar Positano

One of my other favorite days of the trip! This full day boat cruise of the Amalfi Coast was amazing and so fun! We did have a group of 12 people, but the group was great and the boat did not feel crowded at all. On the way out, you cruise slowly, close to the coast line, and the boat driver / tour guide filled us in on lots of the beautiful places up in the cliffs as we passed. We stopped a couple of times to swim, the boat had noodles to float with and googles for seeing all the fish, which was fun! There were plenty of snacks and drinks on board, and we even had a bottle of champagne! In Amalfi, you can spend one hour there and then go to a restaurant or stay in Amalfi for three hours. You don’t really have time to make it up to Ravello also in that time period, which was my original plan. But the buses getting up there are all packed and you would have to wait in line both ways so we decided not to risk that. So we spent an hour exploring Amalfi (which is really all you need), then went with most the group to the lunch place, which was fine but nothing special. The annoying part is they make you spend 2 hours at the restaurant before we headed back to pick up the rest of the group that stayed in Amalfi. N the way back we stopped one more time to swim then headed back to Positano at a faster pace than the way out.

We had such a great experience with blue star. We hired them for a private cruise for our honeymoon and they exceeded expectations. We had bad luck with the weather but they were willing to wait it out or reschedule and fit us in. So impressed with their flexibility. We ended up going as soon as the rain stopped and it could not have been more perfect!

Can’t put into words how amazing BlueStar is! We rented seven of their boats for 70 of our wedding guests the day after our wedding. Elisabeth made the planning process so easy and stress free. She was super quick to respond to us right away, answered all of our questions and made sure everything went smoothly the day of! They organized lunch drop offs for us and had plenty to drink on board. All of the captains were friendly, knowledgeable and funny! Our guests had the most amazing day. We can’t wait to come back to Positano to see them again. We are so so grateful!!💕💕

Blue Star’s Mr. Fabio did such a superb job giving us a tour of the Amalfi Coast on a perfect June day, the 23rd!
He stopped his boat three times at perfect spots so we could experience the Tyrrhenian Sea’s turquoise waters; so inviting to dip into - clear, clean, refreshing temperature.
He had a cooler full of ice cold water, Peroni beer, Coke, Sprite and Fanta Orange. He served potato chips, peanuts and mini toasts. We also had Proseco then Lemon Cello. He’s personable, explains the sights, informs us of the tours highlights, is a gentleman helping us in and out of the boat and thanked us for bringing up the foam device to float.
Our day tour to Amalfi was enjoyable, smooth and most importantly, safe; Mille Grazie to Mr. Fabio! Well done👏👏👏.

We took a private Amalfi boat tour last week and it was a perfect way to spend the day. Our captain was fantastic! Finding the location and getting on the boat was so easy. We spent the day going all around and stopping to swim. We had lunch on a beach and walked in Amalfi for a few as well (I’d skip that next time and stay on the boat). Really wonderful experience.

Today we had the best experience of our two week trip to Italy with Saulo
who took us on an Amalfi coast private boat tour! Enjoyed swimming in caves and cliff jumping. He kept us safe. Saw Amalfi and had lunch. Enjoyed delicious snacks and a lot of beverages. Our kids ages 12 and 16 declared this was the best day of their lives! Appreciate you all. Keep up the great work. Hope to come back sometime.

Book in advance because it’s worth it! I had zero expectations for this boat tour, was just excited to be in the Amalfi Coast… the tour was nothing short of amazing. Saulo our guide/captain was honestly the best, he took his time taking us through the coast - which is the best way to see it! He stopped so we could take photos and swim before stopping in Amalfi to have lunch. I highly suggest booking with them for a group boat tour, it was truly the highlight of our trip to Italy! Thanks so much for such a magical day!

Impeccable service. Elizabeth was completely kind and courteous. We loved our boat captain, Gianfranco. We booked a private full day tour of the Amalfi Coast. It was completely relaxing and we got to decide our own itinerary throughout the day. Way better than doing a group tour in my opinion but I’m sure their group tours are fun. A must do while visiting the Amalfi Coast. Book without hesitation.

Not enough great things to say about Bluestar. We did the private sunset cruise and it exceeded our expectations! Everyone who works here is so kind, and Saulo was the best captain! We’ll definitely book with Bluestar again when we return to Positano!

My husband & I have been planning our 2 week stay in Positano for 12 months. Today we finally got to enjoy our Amalfi Coast Day tour with 10 other people. It was even better than we anticipated. Elizabeth was a pleasure to deal with throughout the booking experience & our captain today Fabio was excellent. He made the day so much fun for us all. I would highly recommend Bluestar Positano for anyone considering seeing beautiful Positano from the water.

Dreamiest boat day! We booked the full-day tour of the Amalfi Coast. Let me tell you, viewing the coast from the boat is a MUST, just stunning. Our incredible captain, Massimo, drove us around the coast where we saw breathtaking views, swam in little coves, explored the town of Amalfi, and had an incredible lunch at a local spot only accessible by boat. Our captain served us snacks and champagne while playing Italian ballads, it was spectacular. Staff is friendly and kind - and this is a great deal. A MUST do in Positano!

Must-do while in Positano! We were lucky enough to get added last minute. Everyone was so friendly and easy to communicate with! We had an AMAZING trip with our guide, Saulo, on the Almafi coast. He provided good energy, fun music, snacks, drinks, etc! 10/10 recommend!

The team at Bluestar simply don’t get it wrong. Our second time interacting with Elisabeth & the team and the standard of service is exceptional. This year we had a day trip to Amalfi, and stopped for a few swims and lunch at a beautiful ocean front venue accessible only by boat. On board our captain explained everything in both Italian and English, serving drinks and snacks, afternoon Prosecco and limoncello too! A delightful day, a must do when you are on the Amalfi Coast. Elizabeth did a great job with our boat trip. We were two out of 12 for a full day tour from Positano to Amalfi. The Captain and mate explained all the sites with several swim stops and lunch at Da Teresa on the coast.

This was the highlight of our trip to Positano and all of Italy. The boat was large and comfortable. The service was amazing. Elizabeth was easy to contact, and anytime we had a question, she would respond quickly with information. The service at the front desk was great, and the captain, Saulo, was not only a really good maneuver but also made sure to plan our day according to our wants. We booked the private full day tour, everything was great. If you come to Positano, book this activity! The coast is one of the most beautiful places on the planet, this is the best way to see it.

our boat ride was very smooth and our captain was very friendly and knowledgeable of the areas. gave us lots of drinks and let us swim a lot and gave us lots of recommendations on what to do at the places we were dropped off. would definitely do this boat trip over and over again 👍🏽

An unbelievable experience! We booked a private boat tour around the Amalfi Coast and it was everything we expected and more.

Elizabeth made the whole booking and organising process so easy. She responded to all my queries so promptly which made experience stress free. And what can I say about our Captain. Gian Franco, he was absolutely amazing. He was professional, knowledgeable and friendly.

We took a private boat tour along the Amalfi coast, very friendly staff took our reservation and was the best price compared with others on the beach. There are so many words I can say on how great this tour was. Elisabeth was super helpful in the booking of the tour and super responsive with any questions. Our captain Fiorenzo made the day that much more fun and special. Pointing out famous sites, telling us special facts about the coast and stopping along the way for us to swim. We were provided with goggles and towels, and had some free time in Amalfi which made the day that much more enjoyable.

The whole day exceeded our expectations by a mile and was a highlight in our trip. Thank you!!!

We did an Amalfi tour up the coast. Our trip was fantastic! Elizabeth is very responsive and offered us to be picked up in praiano. Our guide Gianfranco exceeded our expectations. He was welcoming and very informative about the area. He offered to take photos for us and knew the spots for the best background. We were provided chips, fruit and plenty of prosecco. We stopped at swimming holes, a waterfall, sea caves and a jumping spot. He gave us the options to spend more time in Amalfi or have lunch at a spot only accessed by boat. We loved the flexibility he provided us. Our group of 5 had the boat to ourselves since others backed out due to weather. The weather ended up being perfect so do not back out unless they personally cancel because they know the area best! This was also the best price range for this activity I could find. I would highly recommend this trip
