Meleto Castle

Castello Di Meleto is a ideal place for Tuscan vacation, we stayed here for 5 days and felt super enjoyable.
Farmhouse was spacious with the bi-level apartments, surrounded by the countryside, we had light food and wine at patio, took a nap at living room, totally immersed the summer holiday. The only downside was no cleaning service during stay.
Buffet breakfast was brilliant, classic and elegant dining area, Tuscan ingredients, olive oil and honey from the castle, all things were delightful.
We also spent good time at gallery, Big Bench (overlooked the vineyards was amazing), swimming pool, wine tour and shop.
If possible, I would like to come back every year.

We stayed four nights in the castle, two different rooms and while both were nice, the ground floor Virginia room was exceptional and private. All the staff were wonderful and so accommodating. We look forward to visiting on our next Tuscan holiday.

What an incredible place!
Stayed 1 night and was mesmerised by the scenic beauty of the place. Breakfast was delicious with local product, staff was kind and helpful. They have 2 incredible pools (we didnt get to try as was little cold).
Careful - dinner place in 3 min drive as they have no on property restaurant

This was out best stay in Toscana/Chianti region. Everything was delightful. We stayed in a bungalow. Big rooms, comfy beds, nice patio. One of the infinity pool is near. We visited the vineyard and the wine cellar. The views around the castle are wonderful. The breakfast was excellent. It is served in the castle so we've got a chance to see the interiors a bit. One word: WOW! The stuff is polite and helpful. We need to come back for a longer stay.

Very beautiful and nice place. We had 2 bedrooms Villa with piece full and stunning view. We enjoyed every second of our stay on Villa and in the castle. Breakfast was delightful.

What a beautiful place to stay! Our room had the most stunning views of the property and was a very short walk to the infinity pool. A very unique experience to stay on castle grounds!

Rooms came with a microwave, stove top, and small refrigerator. Outside each had a table with a couple of chairs and a sun lounger. There are boars in the area that are active at night! One came very close to where we were sitting outside our apartment. They can be extremely agreesive if they have their babies close. We didn't have an issue though and it ran off when I stood up.

The wine shop on the grounds was wonderful and expertly staffed. We took a couple bottles home of the chianti classico which was my favorite baseline chianti of the region (we stopped at three other locations)

Be warned that food is fairly scarce in the area with limited options, some being a bit longer drive. However the castle restaurant was wonderful. It was small though, as we found with many restaurants. Call for reservations a day or two in advance!

Coolest hotel we have ever stayed at - and we seek out stays like this!

Beautiful castle in the heart of Chianti Classico. It offers lodging, wedding destination, lunch and dinners. They have a great Enoteca with a great selection of wines and underground cellar. The castle has its original theater… quite amazing

Spacious room with 2 bedrooms. Very stylish bathroom. Only disadvantage there are no mosquito nets on the windows and very deep swimming pool. Pool is beautifully located with great view.

The castle is fabulous, especially the theatre. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was very good with a wide variety of choices. The restaurant was very good as well, but we were also treated to dinner in the castle as part of a larger group. I felt very special when they were able to provide gluten-free alternatives, making it my favourite dinner in Italy.

Once in a life time experience staying in a castle. The rooms were very nice and clean. Had a bit of a plumbing problem the first day but they fixed it within an hour or so. Infinity pool is gorgeous with amazing views.

This castle was amazing inside and out, it has plenty of wine to choose from and also has tastings, make sure that you pre book for the tastings so you do not miss out

We've been in Italy for a week now and definitely this has been the best part of it.
The castle is very well preserved, the doors, the walls, the rooms, the dinning room and the breakfast room are al amazing. The rooms are confortable and really take you back to old times.
The premises are very pretty and are very nice to visit and take a walk.
The zone of chianti is beautiful, there are many places to visit and all of them are interesting. The zone itself, the houses, the farmhouses, the monasteries that can be found are all awesome.
We tasted great wine, but the best of all was the vinsanto which was amazing.

We stayed in a room outside of the castle and it was very nice. The infinity pools are phenomenal and the sunset view is spectacular. Do not skip the breakfast as the inside of the castle is beautiful and the view from breakfast is wonderful

One cozy small winery in Tuscany, but that is in no way worse than any of the bigger ones. It’s an actual castle, with a store in the basement. Since it’s uphill, the views are also great.

My wife and I stayed in the castle and absolutely loved our experience. Our room was clean, comfortable, spacious, quiet and so enjoyable. We also did the wine tour where I personally tasted my favorite wine of all time (Poggiarso). Staying in a castle is a really cool experience, im glad we did this.

Good place to be in Chianti and go around.. breakfast is okay. Room is comfortable.. not big

Wine tasting is personal and detailed. Wonderful views if you sit outside. Cost is 12 to 15 euros to taste 3 wines. Giacomo (sommelier) and Stephany made the experience awesome !
