Chalet Etoile

Probably the best food available on the slopes. We went there twice in our 6-days stay. I truly recommend the tiramisu and polenta with mushrooms. Can't recommend this place enough.

Super place, one of the best up the mountain in Cervinia. Pricey, but not unbelievably expensive, and the food is good. (If you go skiing don't expect things to be cheap!)

A great place to stop. Delicious food and much more affordable than Zermatt.

Portions are relatively large and food is very authentic. The gluten free pasta is very good aswell.

The service is very friendly, specially from the cashier lady.

We only went to the self service part of the restaurant, but the sit-down restaurant also looked nice.

Can be quite busy so get there early!

Booked a table and despite running late the staff were terrific. Good range of vegetarian options and my poor GF wife also managed a fine meal. Amazing wine list to boot. A quick slide home afterwards. Going back.

One of the higher end spots on the piste. The food is the best we had in Cervinia 🍝 And the design of the place is super elegant.

Lovely spot for a coffee break or lunch on the mountain near Plan Maison! Delicious Cappuccino and apple cake! Lovely deck with lots of seating. Very cozy inside as well. Would have returned for lunch if we had time!

Nice lunch! Not as pricy as some places higher on the slopes, food is very good. Portions are big so you’ll to get enough energy to continue your riding.
Orange punch was good but too strong for me.
I definitely recommend the place end especially polenta with mushrooms. It’s finger lickin’ good!

Came from Zermatt. Place was quite busy. They got my order quickly and within a matter of minutes, the food was hot and ready. They’ve got this process down - was quite impressed with that. Some of the best pasta you can get and my favorite place I ate at in the Swiss/Italian area.

High quality and service. Excellent lunch spot after a long ski day. There’s a sit down section as well as a take out section. The sit down is a little pricier so recommend here if you’re splurging.

Hands down one of the best places to eat in Cervinia especially if you are on the slopes! Raviolini and the pork shoulder dishes were just so amazing! The brownie with the salted caramel and the tiramisu were easily the best dessert we've had in Cervinia! Be sure you have a reservation before going there! They also offer dinner! Must must visit if you are in Cervinia!

Fabulous birthday lunch on the ski slopes. The restaurant is beautiful and the food is incredible - a step up from the other places on the mountain. Our table wasn’t ready when we arrived but the manager handled it brilliantly. When we mentioned it was our friend’s birthday, they made a real fuss. Would really recommend.

There is an actual sit down restaurant but it requires reservations as the place is packed. However, you can order from the counter just inside the door and take your food outside to the picnic tables. Great views, great atmosphere and best of all - really great food. Prices are way better than anywhere on the Zermatt side.

A friend reommended Chalet Etoile so we had rather high expectations. Have to say that our expectations were well exceeded. Chalet Etoile became our number one restaurant in Cervinia immediately when we received our first courses (tuna tataki and octopus salad). The main course followed the same pattern, really delicious. As a Finn it is somewhat difficult to recommend something with swedish flavour 😀 but Chalet Etoile absolutely deserves this.

I give maxim because the behavior of the staff! they are amazing, every request was fulfilled. The dessert was also very good. The champagne perfect!

Great spot on the piste for coffee & fab cakes (also gluten free options) aperitivo & great food for lunch. Lots of deckchairs and seating outside as well!

I loved every minute spent there. the chalet is absolutely amazing when sunny! the food is good and the prices are fair.

Must try! We never managed to make a reservation so only for the lunches by queuing instead of being served. If you plan on visiting Cervinia then it is a good idea to make a reservation a week or two in advance.

All our party had lamb dishes, they were all excellently cooked and very interesting.

Best of all was the service from Anais who was very hospitable. Highly recommended!

Magnificent food and service. I can't believe they can synchronize this many tables jam-packed together, but the expeditor and servers have it down. Just be prepared to be cheek-to-jowl with your neighbors in some corners - it's just the nature of the Chalet.
