Simply Amalfi

Salvatore is funny and knowledgeable. Picked us up from cruise port and drove us around Amalfi coast. We had great time. Thank you Salvatore!

We had a wonderful day with Salvatore driving the coast. He took us to a great place for lunch and was charming all day!

Salvatore picked us up at the Naples train station when we arrived from Florence. From there, he dropped us for a great Naples pizza lunch and took us on to hike Mount Vesuvius and tour Pompeii with a guide. After Pompeii, he was supposed to take us to our hotel in Amalfi but was nice enough to drive us twenty minutes beyond our hotel, high on the hill for an fantastic dinner. He called ahead to make sure they could accommodate us since we were early for the typical Italian dinner. The dinner was AMAZING, and all five of us loved it. On our third day, Salvatore took us to Sorrento and did a great job explaining the sights along the coastal drive. He provided me with an extra charger when my phone died and ended us giving it to me as a souvenir. How nice is that?!!

I was expecting great things from Simply Amalfi, because they were the most detailed and responsive to all my emails in planning the trip and tours. I was delighted that it was actually Salvatore who communicated with me and drove us. For the cruise ship people who wrote the bad reviews, I’d say that had much more to do with their time limits and poor communication. I truly believe Salvatore would do whatever is needed to ensure his customers are more than thrilled. On our last day, he was scheduled to drive us back to the train station in Naples, but he agreed to just drive us straight to Rome at our request. I highly recommend Salvatore and Simply Amalfi if you need a driver and new friend on the Amalfi Coast! I found his service, communication, and guidance to be outstanding!

My fiancé and I went on a sublime tour with Salvatore on Jan 2 to Positano & Sorrento. Prices were very reasonable for a private tour to the Almafi Coast. Salvatore was easy to communicate with before the tour and explained how some of the roads would be closed during the winter. We were able to customize the tour to our liking. Once we departed the train, he was right there at the platform waiting for us. The van was comfortable and Salvatore was knowledgeable about the history of the towns. He stopped at all the stunning views, took pictures of us, and recommended delicious restaurants for lunch. He even bought us some wine as a parting gift, which was so thoughtful! Although it was winter, the weather was beautiful and sunny. There was so much to do we ended up falling asleep on the ride back. We requested he drop us off in downtown Napoli which, coming from Los Angeles, was the most chaotic traffic I had ever seen. We are forever grateful. Would definitely recommend to others!

We had Salvatore pick us up in Rome (party of 8) and deliver us to and from Positano. He was such a great driver and entertainer. We asked him back for another tour, this time of Sorrento and he arranged a great day for us, including a beautiful restaurant outside the city. Highly recommend Sal and his company.

Excellent service. We were driven to and from Naples to minori. Salvatore met us at airport, serenaded us on the drives and was even a bit early for our departure. Our highest recomendations
