Le Bontà del Capo

I can really recommend. The restaurant has a beautiful view as it is located above the sea. The food was really delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful. There is a football field on the roof of the restaurant, our kids enjoyed it. The prices are really low taking in to account the quality and level of hospitality. Probably the best place we found on Amalfi coast.

Excellent views, reasonably priced, and fantastic food. Our family came back for several lunches and dinners during our stay nearby. The staff were very kind and gracious hosts! We would highly recommend. Great desserts and gelato too!

My husband and I have eaten in this restaurant for 2 times, because they have really amazing food, breathtaking view and also very good service. They just picked us up from our hotel and brought us back to the hotel for free. The waiters are super nice and have always a good answer for your questions about allergies, etc. We feel really comfortable to eat and enjoy the food there, because they’re not in a rush and always give you a time for thinking and asking about the food. You guys if you visit Amalfi, you have also to visit this restaurant. If we‘re going back to Amalfi, for sure we‘ll come to visit again. Thank you for everything and a good time in Amalfi. Probably our favorite meal in Italy and definitely the pick of our meals on the Amalfi Coast. Stunning 180 degree views and everything we ordered was delicious. Highlights included the seafood gnocchi and the grilled octopus starter.

We were travelling through Italy for 2 weeks and the Amalfi coast was one of the last stops. I booked Le Bontà del Capo based on all the great reviews and the expectations were high. The food alone it worth the visit, it's one of the best we had and the amazing service and atmosphere, tops it all up. As if that was not enough, the lemon tour was one of the highlights of the entire trip. I hope I can go back to Amalfi one day and have the pleasure of dining here again. Our airbnb host suggested this place, we didn’t think much of it. When we got there, we were instantly blown away with the place. The open roof and the incredible views. The food was amazing. Literally every dish was a 10 (and we’re hard to please). We still talk about this dinner months later. If I was back in the area, this would be first on my list.

The food was really good, very fresh and tasted amazing. The pastas were cooked to perfection and the sauces were authentic. The outside terrace has amazing views. Highly recommend!

We took a random detour from the main highway and stumbled upon this beautiful place. It was highly rated and we were craving for food so we thought of giving it a try and boy, we were in for a delight! Loved the food, the views of the coast are amazing and the wine was just so smooth (they have their own vineyard)! To top it all, it was reasonably priced.
They have some parking place as well.
Totally recommend!

One of the best (if not *the* best) restaurants we went during our Italy visit. Excellent view, tasty food. Courteous service. Good vibes in abundance. When we got there, we were worried if it could prove to be too expensive. But, it turned out to be reasonable. Dinner for 3 (2 appetizers, 1 pizza, 2 main entrees, 1 bottle of red wine, 1 desert) was Euro 120 including Eu 10 tip. Similar meals would easily cost $200 in US. We loved it so much that we went there for dinner on back-to-back nights when we were in the area. Get there before 7 pm if you want a table right at the edge of the balancy with an ocean view.

This place was simple fantastic.
We went there with no expectations but left extremely satisfied of our experience.

The food was delicious and fresh, the wine menu and menu was very simple to understand ( they added the photo of the dessert and the wine bottles in their menu ).
Very well priced even to say I’m surprised how inexpensive our meals were 25~35 € per person.
The manager is great and will respond to WhatsApp’s messages quickly and if you need a table for 10people he can make it happen ( just let him know in advance).

This should definitely be on your go to list if you’re visiting the Amalfi Coast.

The table we were shown to had a fantastic view over the bay.
The staff were fantastic, friendly and caring.
The food and drinks were out of this world, and not expensive.
Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Delicious food with a view. Our favorite was the Gnocchi con Ricciola e Gamberetti a must try. We also had the beef entrecôte and the roasted potatoes were cooked to perfection. The lemon delight dessert is also a must. The lemon ravioli had a nice lemon punch but couldn’t be beat by the gnocchi. Highly recommend for dinner!

We were a large group staying in this area for a family wedding. This restaurant was very local to the villa we were staying in. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and provided excellent service. There was a fantastic choice of delicious food accompanied by beautiful views overlooking the bay. The atmosphere was very happy and relaxed. On one night there was music and karaoke which was a lot of fun. An added bonus was the free lifts offered and accepted to take us back to the villa which was so appreciated ....thanks Antonio, top man!). We would definitely revisit if we returned to Amalfi.

We stayed right on the beach and the restaurant provided complimentary shuttle service to pick us up since they are in the hills overlooking the sea. Gorgeous views! The staff were all friendly but Antonio went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Chef Fiorenzo was very kind and greeted us at our table. The food is first rate. Seafood we tried was fresh and a good variety of vegetarian pastas. Also there is a huge selection of wines. Given the delicious food, gorgeous views, and attentive and kind service, the prices are very reasonable in this area. Grazie tutti!

We have eaten at Michelin Stared restaurants all over the world, and we have never had a finer, tastier, or more delicious meal than we have had here at Le Bontà del Capo.
The pasta's are all sublime, the ravioli stuffed with sea bass maybe the best we have tried, but they are all 10/10 so choosing is difficult.
Each of the seafood dishes have been prepared perfectly, full of flavor and wonderful tastes that meld wonderfully in your mouth.
The two pizza's have been some of the best anywhere, about equal to the duck and truffle pizza's we have had in the Dordogne and that's saying something.
The view down along the Amalfi coast and the little stone watch tower is world class, and the service is super attentive, fun and joyful, they seem to love their work and it really shows and creates a fun lively atmosphere.
I have saved the best for last--- the desserts.
Heavenly is the only word available for this experience, the Tiramisu, Lemon Cake, and Rum Babba... I don't think any of us have had better, and it was sad to finish the last bite.
But then we will be back again tomorrow night, because while this really is Michelin Stared quality the prices are an absolute steal. If you are in the Amalfi region, this is an absolute MUST!

We were a group of 3 American girls and found this GEM of a restaurant that EXCEEEDED our expectations. We made a reservation in advance and they gave us the best seat in the house (btw there’s no bad seat) with amazing service and hospitality, amazing food, and the best view of the sea and mountains. Just a short bus ride away from where we were staying but it was well worth every second. Each Waiter insured we were enjoying each part of our experience from drinks to appetizers to main courses to dessert, the service was phenomenal. And at the end they even let us see inside the kitchen for a personal touch to add to our spectacular night !! 100/10 would recommend to anyone visiting the Amalfi coast!

We came here on our last night of staying in Praiano. We could’ve tried to take the bus and go up steps or transfer to another bus but decided to get a taxi the restaurant recommended for €50 from Praiano to Le Bontà del Capo. There are so many menu items to choose from! We ordered sorrentine gnocchi, spaghetti alla carbonara, and a tipica pizza and all were delicious. All of that plus a large beer, sea breeze, and a slice of Tiramisu for under €60. It was our best meal we had on our Almafi leg of our trip and the owner, Antonio, was so kind at the end of our meal he offered to drive us back down to the bus stop. We are so glad we chose this place to have our last dinner in Almafi at.

Stunning coastal view and great place to watch the sunset. Food is amazing.
