Ristorante Zi Ntonio

Delicious pasta, especially the angel hair pasta with shrimp, zucchini, and saffron. That was one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. We went twice and felt both stuffed and like we got a lot of value. The wait staff was very attentive, and there was live music one of the nights we went. We never tried the pizza, but there are so many other options for dishes that we never got around to it.

Great restaurant! String lights inside with cozy ambience and lots of music and chatter. The zucchini blossoms are really good as well as seafood dishes like the seafood risotto.

Dinner here was absolutely incredible! The food is delicious! The wine list is also comprehensive and the Chianti in particular was great. We had the Caprese salad which was so flavourful. I had the gnocchi and my husband had the angel hair pasta. They were both so excellent. We also got complimentary pizza bread which was very good. For dessert we had tiramisu which was creamy and so tasty. The location is great as it's close to the main square. The atmosphere is lovely. They had live music when we went (Friday night). The service is friendly and attentive. We didn't need to make a reservation because we were there early around 6pm but it was very busy shortly after so I definitely recommend making a reservation if you want to guarantee a spot.

What an absolutely amazing dining experience. I couldn’t believe how incredible the food was, for little price.

When you arrive, they will ask you if you have reservations. If you do not have a reservation, it will probably tell you that you need to go downstairs and they will give you a table number.

When you walk down the flight of stairs, it opens up into seating area, but there’s nowhere that tells you what seating table #s. I would just tell the server your number and they will get you seated or have you wait if they’re still bussing the table.

The food and the service was 10/10. Definitely living up to the high ratings that they have.

Ordered the king prawn linguine & special fish dish of the day, flavours were impeccable. Staff were very kind, accommodating and witty. It was a fun atmosphere.

My brother ordered the risotto, which was the tastiest risotto I have ever eaten .The zucchini flowers were also crispy and cheesy.
The sea food was fresh and well prepared . The servers were friendly, and the place had a great ambience.

Best dining experience we has in Italy so far, the food was exceptional, the service was fantastic, great atmosphere, we met a lovely older couple that we were siting beside and we had a great time chatting with them! They also had a guy with a saxophone which was also great. Thanks!

Well deserved best restaurant in sorrento. Octopus salad is basically all octopus, taste extremely fresh with a little taste of extra virgin olive oil and sour taste (lemon?) with that portion and this price, this is a must try. Risotto is also full of flavour, cooked to perfection with taste of seafood freshness.
Pasta is also al dente and it is very ‘creamy’, you can taste the shrimp oil mixed with all the ingredient and sea food which makes a very good combination.
The dessert is also full of creaminess with a slight taste of lemon, it is not just a cream, but a cream which very fresh and not too sweet, and u can compare it by the normal cream on top.
Given by this service, atmosphere and food quality, this is truly an excellent restaurant that worth your visit when you visit sorrento.

So glad we got to eat here. We didn’t have a reservation, but were able to get a table after just a 10 minute wait. We were showed to our table downstairs which had a cosy and authentic feel.

From the get go, the staff were very friendly and helpful. I asked for a recommendation for wine - in someone places the waiter will just point to the most expensive wine on the menu, but here he chose a local wine the perfectly suited what we were after and was on the cheaper side of the selection (€22).

The food was delicious, and perhaps the best we’d had for the whole of our trip - starters the mozzarella and tomato and the tuna tartar. Mains - Margherita pizza and the sea food risotto. The risotto was the best I’ve ever eaten!! Considering this was not the most expensive meal we’ve had here, it’s definitely the best value for money.

We’d definitely recommend trying this place out if your looking for amazing food, great service and a real feel for authentic Italian dining experience.

We managed a table without reservation and were seated right in front of the kitchen. What a great place, the restraunt itself, the food but most importantly the staff. We had seabass and was deboned by waiter at our table. Our daughter had the mussels, which were delicious. Very reasonably priced. On our way out overheard, there was an hour of a waiting time, so maybe it's best to book a reservation.

Absolutely amazing food and service! We had so much awesome food and drinks for 80 euro. Everything we tried was great. The pizza was the best I’ve ever had!

My partner and I came here on a recommendation from one of my family members. It did not disappoint! Our entrees starter with complimentary fresh bread with oil and balsamic vinegar, complimentary buttered garlic focaccia, zucchini flowers with ricotta, and fried baby calamari with a marinara sauce. The bread and focaccia was fresh and tasty, zucchini flowers were delicate and delicious, and the baby calamari tasted beautiful with the marinara sauce - nothing was overcooked!

For mains we ordered the king prawn linguine and the grilled fish with roasted vegetables. The seafood was extremely fresh and the pasta sauce was delicious. The server removed all the bones from the whole fish table side and served it to us.

Finally, dessert followed the theme of the night. Both deserts were delicious and tasted amazing!

But the best thing is the service. No where else in both Rome and Sorrento have I experienced such incredible service. All the staff are lovely, and their fluency in English is wonderful to assist those who are not confident in Italian. They go out of their way to help everyone and create a lovely and warm atmosphere.

Everything was delicious, but the baby calamari is the best I’ve ever had. It’s very lightly breaded with the perfect garlic seasoning. Finally came back here after almost 20 years, and it’s one of the rare memories that fully lived up to the hype.

Best restaurant I've been to yet in Italy! The food was absolutely delicious. To start they brought out bread, and even had gluten free bread for my partner. It was amazing in the olive oil and balsamic. Then for main the clam pasta is my favourite but I'm sure everything is great. They also have a range of tasty desserts. They have gluten free pasta, breads and desserts all of high quality (no gluten free pizza though). The aesthetic/decor is classic Italian.
The only thing better than the food was the service. Alessandro and 3 other waitors (sorry didn't get their names) were amazing. They are attentive and provide good humour and are willing to go the extra mile for you.
Highly recommend but perhaps make a reservation especially on weekends!

Absolutely lovely place and food.

We have eaten here 3 years ago and had to come back! The staff are really nice and friendly and the food is delicious- just be warned, the portions are massive!

It's a really unique place, the inside looks almost medieval and it has a cool vibe in it.

Food is delicious, tastes homemade and the staff are very good at recommending what to eat. I had a seafood pasta and it was amazing and my boyfriend has pasta arrabbiata which is a spicy tomato pasta and that also was lush.

We walked in no reservations. Waited 15 minutes but was worth the wait. The food and service were excellent. Big portions and reasonably priced. Risotto was excellent! Live music was performed by a talented singer and guitar.

This restaurant was a good choice for serving dinner. It is listed on MichelinGuide for years … since 2003 if not mistaken. Wonderful decorations hangs on the walls along with Jamons 🍗. The food was delicious the beer was great and the staff responsive and helpful.

Definitely come here if you’re in Sorrento. It’s true what the rest of the reviews say about the gnocchi. Just get it. You will love it, if you like good food. The parpadelle with the porcini mushrooms was delicious as well! But the gnocchi is the star here. The fresh bread with the olive oil and balsamic vinegar were so good as well. I didn’t see it in the menu but order the Aperol Spritz! Very yummy! Friend had the veal in white wine sauce and he didn’t love it, but the veggies it came with were roasted nicely! Service was good! Friendly waiters to us Dominicans! Lol overall, solid lunch or dinner option!

Great food, great service. The seafood risotto is delicious and so are the rest of their seafood dishes. So good, we went back twice in the span of 5 days! One of the waiters Antonio is brilliant at his job, providing food & wine recommendations that were on point. Would certainly come to dine here again when in Sorrento

We missed a chance to dine during Christmas night, so we booked a table the following day. We were not disappointed.

Our server, Carmine, was very attentive and patience, explaining the dishes to us. The restaurant was able to accommodate our request (which was off the menu).

We ordered mixed seafood appetizer, the shrimp was fresh and sweet. The special ravioli with clam was delicious, can taste the fragrance of the pasta. The special seafood risotto was delicious too, but it would be better to serve with lemon to balance out the rich taste.

Spicy salami pizza was great too, though slightly over salted, the dough was soft, which we like.

Dessert was delicious, the wild strawberry and chantilly cream was not overwhelming sweet.

We were very well taken care of by Carmine, he was humorous and attentive.

Will come again if there's another chance.
