Hotel Le Terrazze

This hotel is absolutely incredible! The room was perfect, clean, and beautiful. The views are amazing, the staff was so kind, helpful and genuine. Walking to the beach access from the hotel feels surreal, and is absolutely incredible.

From the beach you can take a water taxi to anywhere on the coast (including Positano)! The hotel is also right next to the bus stop as well! Super convenient!

Breakfast was amazing as well! All in all can’t recommend enough!

Lovely hotel, great staff and an amazing location! Just a bit (5 min by foot below the hotel) above a nice and quiet beach with good restaurants, with options to rent a motor boat or to enjoy the sun or swim. We had an amazing time there, will be happy to visit again. And the breakfast is awesome :)

This hotel is amazing and under rated . its very clean, the room is confortable and the view is breathtaking . The staff is always available and so helpful. The breakfast is just amazing , you have a large variety of choices and within a few minutes you have 3 people bringing you all your breakfast! And you get a surprise everyday, such as a lemon cake or any other homemade delicatesy! A small beach is also available near by and restaurants . This hotel is located away from the busy crowds of Amalfi, however buses are available within 2 minutes walk and a taxi boat is right downstairs at the beach. You can reach Amalfi within 5 to 10 minutes ! You have a nice sitting area to enjoy the magnificient view ! Also, the hotel offers a parking area . Just amazing place with amazing people ! I would stay there again and again!

This hotel was the highlight of our holiday to Italy. The location, the decor, the staff, the room and the breakfast with lovely, delicious treats all added up to a wonderful experience. We had a rather eventful trip getting here, with our train catching on fire at Pompei. Arriving at this most beautiful hotel and be welcomed by Marcello, his daughter and staff, it has left a lasting impression on us.

Why stay in Amalfi when you can sit outside at sunset or sunrise looking at it off the spectacular balcony upstairs or from your room? One of may fav hotels after hopping along the Amalfi costs over a week. We were looked after and the rooms were lovely at great value. I don't have a bad thing to say about it. There is no dinner on site but there are some in walking distance or other that will collect you and drop you back which was great. We didn't have a car and used public transport to get there with no issues.

Can’t say enough good things about this place. It has onsite parking, View from our room was spectacular, and most importantly, staff was super helpful. They gave us so many advices and helped us plan the trip around Amalfi. We enjoyed every minute of the stay!

Amazing view from our room 405. Very generous staff for upgrading us to this room. Good breakfast and excellent service. You'll need to take a bus/taxi to go to Amalfi and other areas. Good value for money. What I am most impressed with is the staffs' ability to help and adjust to our needs and circumstances. Our travel plans changed last minute because of sudden cancellations of our transport arrangements. Stefania and Monica helped us to make the adjustments and everything was smooth. Great job to Marcello and all the men and women of Hotel Le Terrazze.

This is a quite a gem. Hotel Le Terrazze is run by a wonderful family—Marcello, Emilia and their daughters. They honestly deserve a higher rating than “3-stars” — they all went above and beyond. Coordinating with them prior to the trip was so easy — Stefania and Monica were so responsive to all questions and they were quick to book any car service / excursion we asked for.

From check in— Monica was great — super thorough and made sure we had all the information we needed. She was so proactive — we’d find ourselves heading out for the day and she would make sure we had everything we needed (I.e bus tickets, time tables, directions etc)

The room was great. Clean and spacious and the sea view was absolutely amazing. AC was great too. Terrace was great to spend time in as well— they have a bistro table with two chairs along with two lounge chairs. Housekeeping left two bottles of water each night.

The terrace in the common area was a great place to take in the beautiful Amalfi Coast. Starting at 4:30pm you can get drinks and snacks there. The decor all around the hotel was wonderful— mix of Amalfi Coast + things local to Conca dei Marini.

The location is phenomenal. The view is amazing (people driving down the highway would stop to take pictures from the entrance). There’s a beach down the steps (hotel le terrazze gives you a heads up when you book it is 230 steps down but it’s really not so bad). You have 3 different restaurant options (Ippocampo has amazing pizzas), can get beach loungers and umbrellas rentals and water taxis to amalfi (10€ per person) and positano (40€ per person) from there. Conca is such a great little town.

If you’re coming peak season July/August, I’d warn you it’s tough getting around purely by bus outside of Conca. Luckily there’s a ton of hidden gems around the town and Hotel Le Terrazze does a great job in highlighting some of them.

You can feel the blood, sweat, and tears Marcello, family and staff painstakingly put into making sure their guests feel welcome and have a great stay.

It was truly memorable — we hope to come back soon and hope if you’re reading this you’re convinced to book a room already :)

Couldn’t recommend this place more. Amazing rooms and views, great location near a really nice beach and easy to get around to the rest of the Amalfi Coast. Marcelo and the team are incredibly helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back!

Amazing views, great breakfast and overall very good service. Would definitely come back - only complaint was the price during peak season, but that’s a good problem to have.
Recommend using the bus service to get to Positano and Amalfi - reception sells the tickets.
Beach below is quite local Italian focused and not keen to service, so not ideal for tourists.

There was the most amazing attention to detail everywhere. The whole hotel is themed in various colours, with excellent soft furnishings. The rooms are quite simple, but with comfy beds and everything you need. The owners and staff are exceptional; nothing is too much bother and they are a mine of information about everything, even booking restaurants and where to visit. The view from the rooms and terrace is glorious. The breakfast is absolutely yummy, served at your table, with another glorious view. I couldn't recommend it highly enough and we are much looking forward to returning next year.

Hotel Le Terrazze in Conca dei Marini was the best hotel experience we have ever had. From the reception to the location to the breakfast. It was 10/10. We will be back whenever we come to the amalfi coast and will recommend to anyone looking for a hidden gem in Conca Dei Marini. A special thank you to the helpful reception ladies and Marcello and his wife Emilia! The most beautiful stay.

This hotel is the BEST gem on the Amalfi coast. The owners Emilia & Marcelo make such an effort to make your stay special. From the simple yet spacious rooms with exquisite views from the balconies, to the kind and attentive staff. Not a day went by that we didn’t say how much we appreciate this hotel and it’s staff. Truly had an incredible time at our 4 day stay there. Definitely looking forward to our return!

My husband and I visited Hotel Le Terrazze in 2018 and we cannot wait to return. The owners welcome you with so much love and make you feel like family. The accommodations were 10/10; rooms, breakfast included (delicious), water taxi on the beach to main cities, help with transportation, the list goes on. This hotel is in my opinion should add one more star to their rating.
The location is perfectly located between Positano and Amalfi , travel each way by frequent local buses. The views are breathtaking (what you see on the postcards and Instagram are mostly taken from there).
The Hotel staff are the best, the went the extra mile to ensure I had a sea view room, and also threw in a surprise birthday breakfast and delicious cake. They provided great instructions on getting around and local eateries. The breakfast selection was as you would expect; quality servings of bread, fruit and juices.
The hotel decor was pleasing to the eye, fine contrasts with the surrounding blue sea views and wild rocky bushes.
The nearest beach is about 100-150 steps between picturesque vintage buildings, although small, has a variety of beachside restaurants and seating with great views of sunsets and moon rise behind Mt Vesuvius across the sea.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Hotel Le Terrazze. This was near the end of our three-week vacation in Italy. Florence, Tuscany, Rome, Ceccano (small city), Pompeii, Sorrento, Amalfi, and Naples. This was our favorite hotel out of all of them. The views are breathtaking, the rooms are spacious, the staff are top-tier in professionalism and friendliness, and with incredible attention to detail. Do the wine-tasting with Elisabetta! That was a highlight of our entire trip. Five stars across the board.

We cannot say enough great things about this hotel- We do not understand how it is only three-stars. It was spotlessly clean, the room was excellent (the balcony and sea view is unbelievable). It is quiet, well-maintained, adorably decorated. The breakfast was fantastic, the large patio overlooking the sea and Amalfi coast was stunning- We had drinks each night and mingled with other guests. The 'family room' was so comfortable and we almost wished we had a rainy day so we could have an excuse to hang out there all day. We joked we were going to keep our room key so we can come back any time we want :)
The beach at the bottom of the steps was great- we rented chairs and an umbrella for the day. There are three small restaurants and a litte cafe- all excellent. The water taxi is also located there.
We ate at quite a few of the hotel's recommended restaurants and they were all fantastic. Anna and Annarita helped us make reservations and arrange transport if needed.
The best part of this hotel was the STAFF- Anna, Annarita, Gerardo, Marcello, Emilia- everyone went above and beyond to help us make reservations, arrange transportation, answer questions- The definition of hospitality!
The hotel is about 2km outside of the town of Amalfi- We arrived by ferry. Take the positano bus line to the hotel for about 1.5 euros and it drops you off right outside. Taxis are insanely expensive from the port to the hotel (70 euros!). The water taxi is another option for about 8 euro but you have to walk up the 200 steps from the beach to the hotel with your luggage.

If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would, a very nice hotel and the staff is very respectful and they provided everything we needed and more, the hotel manager was supervising everything that happened and he was doing a job that was not his job and he delivered us to the taxi door and carried our bags, I strongly recommend the hotel they made us happy all the time

This hotel deserves 5 star rating. Absolutely breathtaking room views with a large balcony in each room, amazing friendly and helpful staff and delicious breakfast. The location is very close to Positano and Amalfi bus or boats available to take. There is a beach about 10 minute walk down which is very nicely maintained. We stayed 6 nights here and enjoyed every single one of them. The hospitality alone is a good enough reason to come back. We will be back next year! Thank you for making our stay special!

I was more than happy staying here and the customer service and hotel really exceeding my expectations. They were so so friendly, accompanying and gave better customer service than I’ve gotten from 5 star hotels. The view of the ocean was also incredible and like a dream. I couldn’t be happier with my stay here and would recommend this hotel to anyone!!
