Staying at the Borgo is the greatest luxury you could give yourself. You feel special. You feel cared for. It feels like everyone on the property has something to offer you- I don’t mean that in a material sense. I mean that everyone wants to share information, share a smile, a conversation, a recommendation.

We had been looking forward to celebrating our honeymoon here and it far exceeded our expectations. I almost wish we skipped some of our excursions just to stay on site. You do not need to leave the property. It has everything you need or could possibly want.

The love of this paradise starts from the top and Maurizio is an unparalleled host- charming, stylish and welcoming. You can feel his passion in his presence and his attention to every guest, every associate. He knows everyone by name and is sincere when he asks how your stay is, what your plans are, what he can suggest.

The architecture, the decor, the design, the fragrances, the cuisine (the breakfast needs its own glowing 5 star review) the amenities (among them a Dyson hair dryer and a variety of cozy bathrobes, particularly the Once Milan linen robe)- it is truly a gift to yourself staying here. You simply feel exceptional being in this environment. I don’t know what greater gift there can be than to enable yourself feel to this way.

I loved seeing the staff in different locations throughout our stay. To have someone at dinner remember what I ate for breakfast made me feel very cared for, despite being in two different restaurants. (Do yourself a favor and dine at each restaurant on the property)

Upon my arrival I was immediately sorry our stay would have to come to an end eventually. And so I will look forward to our next visit because now I know just how incredible a property can make you feel. I am so grateful for the time we had at Borgo, the memories we made and look forward to future stays.

The best hotel on the Amalfi coast, bar none!! We stayed last July their first year being open and decided to go back this year to celebrate our honeymoon. It was a trip that dreams are made of. Every detail is thought of by the amazing staff. You feel like family being welcomed home. The property is absolutely breathtaking and the attention to detail throughout the property is magnificent. We are beach people and their beach club is the only “real” beach on the Amalfi coast where you can walk right into the water! Their new gourmet restaurant Alici is superb and one of the best gourmet restaurants in the area. And don’t miss the freshly made pizza at the beach club which is to die for. The design of the hotel is extremely unique and first class. Our suite was magnificent and the terrace has views that are breathtaking. Don’t even hesitate to book your 5 Star super luxury stay here where every detail is thought of to make your stay a dream come true. Belissimo!

Sue and I had the most memorable experience staying at the Borgo Santandrea Hotel. We were there for 7 nights and we loved every minute…from the beginning of the day with the amazing breakfast, to the incredible beach club, to the fabulous drinks at the Terraza bar and then to dinner with superb cuisine. There was absolutely no reason to leave the hotel.
It goes without saying that the hotel is stunning…the views, the rooms and the gardens. But, what we will remember the most is getting to know the owners and the staff. It starts with Maurizio and extends throughout to Gaetano, Julia and everyone else we interacted with. You all set a standard for hospitality that will be unmatched anywhere else…welcoming the guests like they were family.
I have lost count of the times since we left that we said…”I wish we were back at Borgo.”

I don’t even know where to begin with this review because I have so many incredible things to say about Borgo. As an avid traveler I have stayed in many, many luxury hotels over time, and Borgo simply blows away its competition. This is not only in beauty but in experience. From the warmest staff and most delicious food to the exquisite and comfortable rooms, Borgo is a place that somehow feels at once like the ultimate escape from reality as well as like being home. Maurizio and Tano, along with the entire staff at the hotel, have created a magical experience for their guests. Not to mention the hotel itself is an architectural wonder. It is abundantly clear that they put extensive thought into every detail which has translated into the most wonderful, beautiful, and special hotel on the Amalfi coast, if not in all of Italy. I have stayed there twice now and plan to return again next year if not every year going forward. Put this hotel at the top of your list of it isn’t there already!!

(Mauricio, I didn't get a chance to say thank you personally so thank you so much we had the best time!)The property and level of service was 5 stars all the way around. I can see the dedication and care that goes into the property. Truly an amazing experience and Im so grateful we had the opportunity to stay here. If you are looking for a spectacular time, this place is it. If helpful for other travelers, prior to my arrival I was a little concerned that the location would be out of the way but they have two complimentary shuttle options and it really did not hinder our time at all being just a bit more removed. Our recent late-October stay at Borgo Santandrea surpassed our high expectations. This stunning Amalfi property ranks with the world’s greatest luxury hotels in every respect. Gaetano (or Tano as everyone calls him) runs everything smoothly and makes sure that nothing is overlooked. Congratulations to everyone at Borgo Santandrea!

We’ve been all over the world and without any hesitation, Borgo was the nicest and best hotel we’ve been to. The property, the rooms, the views were beyond outstanding but the service somehow topped all of that. The owner, the managers and our favorite waiters Cacio and Pepe made the stay magical. Can’t wait to come back next year!

Borgo Santandrea exceeded every expectation possible. From the welcoming beautiful views and lush landscaping to the absolute best service we have ever experienced and thoughtfulness down to every last detail. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, every time I thought I’d seen it all there would be something else that would wow me again. We stayed for 5 days and from the very beginning of our trip, we felt like family. Every single staff member including the owner is so hands on, accomodating and has no hesitation to go above and beyond for whatever you need. The breakfast is absolutely wonderful, and an experience I will never forget, you must try! I won’t spoil it! The private beach is a 10/10, they provide everything you might need at your fingertips including beach shoes (which come in incredibly handy if you didn’t bring your own). The beach was definitely a highlight for us seeing how busy and crowded the other public beaches in the area were and knowing we had this picturesque and relaxing spot that we didn’t have to worry about going more than 20 meters too. The beach restaurant and drinks they serve are also delicious! Be sure to get an Amalfi Spritz! The room was thoughtfully situated with a stunning view and had everything you need, including good air conditioning. A perk for me was definitely the Dyson hair dryer! They didn’t spare any expense building this boutique hotel and I loved the fact that there is only such a small amount of rooms so you feel like you have much of your own space without the clutter of a million other people in peak season. Could not recommend enough. Thank you again Borgo! We’ll be back!

First time in Amalfi. We booked this in a strong recommendation from a well travelled friend. Borgo offers an incredible value for those seeking an elevated travel experience. This place is elegant, scenic, thoughtful and the service is ridiculously friendly and accommodating. It is the best hotel experience ever. Businesses like this are what all businesses should strive to be for their customers.

I'd highly recommend the private 7 hour boat tour. It's relaxing, educational and you will get more pics than you know what to do with. Being here is like having your dreams become reality while you are awake.

The service staff is plentiful, personable and have either been trained exceptionally well or possess naturally high levels of customer service behavior...or both. Everyone seems to effortlessly go above and beyond to make your stay memorable.

I'm sure there are great hotel experiences all over this place, but I don't care if I ever find them. I will always stay here without exception.😉

This hotel is beautiful. The food is excellent, they are so attentive to any questions you may have and are so accommodating. I was upgraded to a stunning room and the beach club is amazing. I wish I stayed here longer than 2 nights. We were required to stay least 4 in our hotel in Capri. Definitely coming back again!

Without any doubt, BORGO Santandrea is the best HOTEL we have found in Amalfi Coast.
It’s a First Class experience every sense; high level of service , impressive design hotel with a very clean appearance and where every single detail is made for the customer enjoyment.
I would highlight the increíble bed comfort (the best i tried), the boat trip organized, the luxury an well done breakfast at the terrace, excellent massage and the recommendations of Maurizio Orlacchio, general Manager of the Hotel, always thinking in improving the client experience.
If you are looking for the highest level stay, BORGO is the place to be.

WOW. I stayed here last month on my first trip to Amalfi and I could not have been happier. This place was stunning. People have mentioned it and it's true, the photos don't do it justice. And that's the just the space. On top of the beauty and comfort of the hotel, the private beach, the many terraces and the rooms themselves, the service is impeccable. Everyone (from the owner Maurizio to the staff at Breakfast) treats you like old family friends. They're cordial, attentive, funny and generous. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Despite our bad luck with a “once in a century rain storm”, we had the absolute best time during our stay at the Borgo. We could not have asked for a better honeymoon location. The staff, the chefs, Tano and Maurizio were beyond kind. They were energetic, fun, welcoming and made us feel like we were home. The food is incredible. The breakfast is what dreams are made of! And the library - all we can say was wow/yum! The hotel decor is gorgeous and every bit of attention to detail can be seen. From the sconces, the door handles to the tiled floors, it’s a designers dream and a hotel guest’s paradise. We cannot recommend this hotel enough! We are already looking forward to our next stay. I stayed in quite a few luxury hotels along the coast and Borgo Santandrea was by far the most beautiful.
Absolutely incredible staff who remembered my coffee order each day and always had a smile.
The interior design of the hotel is clean and beautiful but with hidden history through each piece of furniture.

I have stayed a number of high end hotels over the years. Borgo Santandrea has surpassed them all. From the moment you arrive by boat taxi the service is not 5* - rather its 10*. Kudos to the owner who very hands on. The training of his team is top notch. The attention to detail in overall design of the hotel did not go unnoticed. The team of service staff is led by Gaetano who are always there at your every turn. Our party was a large group of 12 guests, with a handful of special requests throughout our stay. The front desk handled everything with ease and the serving staff took care every request thrown their way. During our time there was a looming strike for train employees. The team at Borgo helped us with rescheduling and even offered a special transfer to Rome if the train ended up getting canceled. I plan to highly recommend Borgo to all of my family and friends in the future!

We were here for our honeymoon and the hotel was so kind to take note of that and make our stay a special one over the course of our 3 nights there.

We checked into the room with a delicious cake and champagne; and was surprised with chocolates and a card hand-signed by every member of their team to wish us a happy honeymoon (it was so sweet!); I was gifted a body cream and we were also given a discount to experience a couples massage.

It was raining all of the 3 days we were there and the hotel was so inventive and creative in making our indoor stay more interesting! They organized cooking workshops that were free and open to hotel guests. We had so much fun learning to make tiramisu and pizza from the chef of their in-house restaurant! It was definitely a highlight of our trip in Amalfi.

Every corner of the hotel was beautiful (even in the gloomy weather and rain)! We booked the most basic room but was still spoiled with the most stunning view. We were met with super warm and friendly staff every morning at breakfast. They have an abundant spread and we felt super blessed eating breakfast in the most beautiful corner of the balcony, overlooking the Amalfi coast on the last day when the sun finally decided to come out for a little while. :)

The Borgo Santandrea was truly the most perfect way to start our honeymoon. We had a hard time deciding where to stay on the Amalfi coast so when originally searching they had no availability because they hadn’t opened yet, once we changed the dates to visit Amalfi and saw that Borgo had rooms available we jumped on booking it right away. We could just feel at home here before ever seeing it in person.
Nothing about this placed disappointed us. It was the most stunning, beautiful, and amazing hotel we have ever stayed. Truly a 5 star experience. When we arrived we were upgraded to an even better suite by the owner Maurizio who we got to talk with almost every day on our vacation. We got to pick his brain about the design and intentionality behind everything about BSA. And truly everything about this place is very intentional to give you the best experience. Don’t you dare do room service here. Breakfast in the Kitchen is a must. All the restaurants, beach club, views was amazing and again an ✨experience✨. We did not want to leave at all.
The staff and hospitality of BSA make the experience all worth it. They are all so kind & attentive. And they treat everyone as if they are the only guest on the property, it blew our minds. We will never forget this place and the staff. We cannot wait to return and will stay for longer.
PSA: Have dinner at the library and choose the 9 course meal. It’ll be a complete surprise, we we enjoyed very much! Also the lemons, order all things lemon and pluck a lemon to save, we forgot to and now all I want is the Amalfi lemons ever since leaving. 🥹

The most beautiful hotel! The restaurant, bar, outdoor space, everything! I can not wait to return again. Everything was so clean and the beds super comfortable. Even had a Dyson hairdryer. Oh and the sweetest espresso cups in the room for coffee. What a gem!!
