Dimora del Podesta

I only have good things to say about this hotel. Pietro was helpful to coordinate our arrivals to Positano with every details on the trip. The room (musica) was clean, organized and had 2 doors to the beautiful balcony with amazing view of Positano. The breakfast was so great and served right on the balcony. A great morning with breakfast and the view of ocean was exactly what I had in mind when booking the room at the Dimora Del Podesta. We also received a small gift as a souvenir from Pietro. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Positano. Very reasonable pricing and great location.

If you are staying in positano I HIGHLY recommend staying here. Everything about our stay was great and all went very smooth. Location is great (if you go to the beach skip the stairs and stay on the main road- a lot easier). Our only mistake was booking all of our activities early so we missed out on breakfast everyday.

Pietro was absolutely fantastic in helping us in our stay in Positano. Was extremely clear on what to do when arriving, how to get to the B&B, and really tended to our every need as soon as possible. Truly a wonderful experience. the view from the balcony was unbeatable. Simply breathtaking. The family's restaurant was also delicious and we received a discount to eat there as well. Highly recommend staying here. The only thing we wish was different is that we could stay longer.

We loved our stay at Dimora del Podesta! Pietro was very helpful and quick to answer any of my questions prior to the trip via email and during the trip by What's App. He helped arrange our taxi from the Naples airport and again when we needed help getting our luggage to the bus stop. The BnB is in a nice location and is on a street with several restaurants including Saraceno d'Oro which is their family restaurant (delicious!). It is a short walk down to the beach area from the BnB. We stayed in the La Musica room and were so happy with it! The room was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated, and the views from the balcony were beautiful. We loved getting breakfast served in our room, and all of the employees we interacted with were friendly and helpful. The community fridge in the kitchen also came in handy and was fairly priced. If you are looking for something different than a typical hotel stay, definitely visit Dimora del Podesta!

Wow! I will stay here every time I come back to Positano and recommend it to everyone I know. The room was beautiful. Check in process was smooth. Location was great. The restaurant below seems to be a local favorite. And breakfast service in the morning was delish and made by the sweetest lady ☺

Amazing place,
Beautiful views from the balcony, with plenty of restaurants close by, 20 mins walk down to the beach. And amazing breakfast served in the morning.
Maybe just have luggage shuttled up to hotel if coming in by ferry.

Great experience, would come back. Very clean room, easy check in process, and amazing host. Location is convenient, about a 10 minute walk to the smaller beach and 15 to the larger. Breakfast is delicious and a great start to the day. We're travelling for quite a while and the balcony was perfect for hanging laundry to dry. 5 stars!

Really enjoyed staying at Dimora del Podesta. Friendly host, super clean room, and delicious/fresh breakfast every morning with a view. Also, their family owned restaurant downstairs was so good that we ate there everyday for lunch or dinner. The location of this place is perfect as well. You don't have to climb a lot of stairs to get to this place, and all the great places are walking distance. Highly recommend!

This place is absolutely wonderful! Great location, parking nearby, amazing restaurant downstairs! Rooms are beautifully decorated and reflect the local design, they are comfortable and you will find yourself in heaven. And the best of the best is the host - Signora Concetta and her family and friends! Every morning she prepared for us a master breakfast with local specialities and delicious Italian coffee! She also gave us good sightseeing tips and we enjoyed chatting with her each time! At the end of our stay Signora Concetta gave us ceramic cups with the picture of the house. This was so sweet! Please note the restaurant downstairs is just fabulous! We highly highly recommend this place and if we come to Positano again we stay at Dimora del Podesta! Anna, Marta& Oliwia

Five of us shared two rooms here last weekend for a few days, and we had a fantastic stay there in Positano! One of the best experiences I’ve had in accommodation, the owners were so welcoming and friendly, the rooms were beautiful and we had a sea view with a great breakfast brought to us on our terrace every morning. Location is great too, ten/fifteen minute walk down the steps to the beach (back up takes longer of course!) and twenty minutes to walk down to the city centre. Would really recommend Diomora del Podesta, it was stunning!! Thank you, we had a brilliant time!

Fantastic stay. Pietro was great. Conceta(spelling?) was amazing. My kids loved her. Please be patient with her in the morning since sometimes all three rooms ask for breakfast at the same time. She’s a superstar though. The place was clean and it has great character , the view is great, the breakfast is awesome. I can’t recommend it enough. The location is good too. We walked to the main beach everyday and would take the interno bus coming back. Easy. Had food at their restaurant one evening and the food was good too.

Was extremely fortunate to be able to book a night here this past summer with my family. The view was to die for, the service was unmatched anywhere I’ve stayed before and the food from the family’s attached restaurant was the best of my whole Italy trip. I can’t wait to come back, I’m staying here every time!

We are visiting many places during our honeymoon but both my wife and I agree that thinking of our stay on Amalfi Coast and Positano excited us more than anything else. We were blown away as we drove from Sorrento onto the Amalfi Coast and when Positano revealed itself to us we could only stare in awe of its beauty.

It was not easy to find accommodation in Positano, both available and affordable, and we feel very lucky to have managed to book a room at Dimora for 4 nights. We wish we could have stayed a couple more nights!

The entire experience was nothing short of amazing.

The owner and host is incredibly warm and welcoming. He is a treat to chat with. He was responsive both prior to our trip and during.

The B&B is situated on a fantastic stretch of road in Positano with a beautiful balcony view, restaurants, shops, all nearby. There is a bus stop right by the B&B as well if you plan to explore other towns via bus or just to get around Positano via the Interno bus. The main beach is a short walk down from the stairs by Caffe Positano and Fornillo Beach is easily accessed

The room we stayed in, Carmé, was spotless and spacious. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was excellent with strong water pressure. The AC worked wonderfully and the fan was a welcome bonus

The balcony was obviously a major draw. We only considered places with a balcony view. The view is great and it was so nice to observe the town come alive with people walking and cars and bikes zooming by.

Every morning they serve you an incredible breakfast. You simply open your door to let them know you’re ready for breakfast and you will be served more food than you can finish including freshly made items such as omelettes and pies! Truly a major plus about staying here so you don’t need to worry about where you will be having breakfast and can either get ready before or after enjoying breakfast on your balcony. Or go back to sleep 😎

The place is secure as there is a password/key locked door to access the building and then of course your room door.

The restaurant downstairs has a great menu and you get a 10% discount for staying at the B&B so try it at least once! We dined there twice.

If you are heading to Positano, especially as a couple I highly recommend Dimora del Podesta. You won’t be disappointed. We were not left desiring anything. Everything was taken care of and we felt like it was our home in Positano

We visited Positano mid March, and it was an amazing experience, and Dimora del Podesta felt like sharing home and breathtaking views, home with friends.

Being a boutique Bed & Breakfast with only three beautiful suites, attention to detail and service were pinnacle of our stay.

Breakfast in the private balcony, is THE most romantic and beautiful experience in the whole italian two-week tour. Concetta, one of our new friends in Dimora del Podesta, made fresh, delicious breakfast every morning.

Rooms are gorgeous, spacious and well equiped. The bathroom is ample (by Italian standards).

Well located in street-front Via Pasitea, it’s an easy 5-minute walk away from the shops, and the Positano Center, and next to Restaurant Mediterraneo and Sarraceno d’Oro, which are very well recomended restaurants as well.

Pietro did a great job, and we can’t wait to be back to Positano.

We enjoyed 2 beautiful days in Positano and Dimora del Podesta was an ideal place to stay. Our room, La Musica, was beautiful, spacious and clean. And the view from our balcony - wow! I hope we get back to Positano again, and Dimore del Podesta will be our first choice for a place to stay. Well situated for a short walk to the town

Great experience, we booked through Airbnb and the room looked exactly like in the pictures. Everyone was very nice, the breakfast served on the terrace was excellent, and we loved the location. Would absolutely recommend and stay here again!

Great service (response time to questions, advice, accommodating special requests), great location (close to bus stations, within 15 mins walking downhill of both Positano beaches), great restaurant below, great balcony view, great breakfast provided daily. Best place I’ve stayed.

Excellent service, location and huge breakfast, even by American standards. We arrived so very late and yet we were able to park and go straight to our room, and arrange our check-in until the next day.

I highly recommend this place! Pietro, and his mother, and all staff involved are extremely personable and attentive to detail!

The hotel is recently renovated and they did a fantastic job.
