Ristorante Don Giovanni

Today we came to Positano and realized that there are no availability in Positano so we started to call restaurants. They made a reservation for us with a perfect view (which is impossible for this city). They brought us a starter for free which was very delicious (see photos). The one that my boyfriend ordered (tomato gnocchi) was not perfect but ravioli filled with fish was really good. Tiramisu: you should taste!!! Waitress was really nice and helpful. And prices: really perfect in comparison to others. I hope to see this place next time.

Best service we had in all of Positano. Nice view easy to access. Our server was super friendly and gave us great recommendations for dinner and wine. Loved everything we had!

This was a wonderful find! Spectacular view and the food was amazing, prices reasonable. The staff were just lovely too. Couldn’t fault it 🙂

Recently dined here on our honeymoon, the staff were so attentive and the food was incredible. Very romantic setting with incredible sunset views. Unfortunately only have a photo of the tirimisu but all of our courses were incredible. If we return to postiano we would dine here again

One of the family owners, Antonella was extremely gracious, friendly, and attentive.

The food was outstanding from the simple bread couvere through dessert.

Presentation, outstanding, quality of food and ingredients, and taste exceptional!

NOTE: Limone Delícia - see the photos, nowhere in all of Sorrento was there a finer execution of exceptional quality, dessert, made famous, and Sorrento, then at Don Giovanni. S U P E R B!! it was done delicately, and I don’t eat desserts. Hands down, one of the best desserts I’ve ever had.

You must go there as the views are stunning, and the food and people are amazing.!!

A MUST! 🍋🤌🏽❤ Honestly, so happily surprised about this amazing restaurant! Everyone in Positano will ask you for a reservation but the lovely host was so kind to welcome us for a drink as we waited for a drink, in the hopes that someone wouldn’t show up… (thankfully they didn’t and we got an Amazing table in second row. LOVELY staff! Super kind (which sometimes kind be hard). Everyone smiling and wishing you a great experience! Yummy good and excellent Limoncello spiritz! They made my day in Positano amazing!

We walked-in in this restaurant without a reservation. We were welcomed and had one of the best dinners in Positano with a great view.
Ravioli stuffed with eggplant and cheese, the homemade spaghetti with clams and lemon, the lemon delight were all so delicious and not overpriced.
We definitely recommend this place but make a reservation to get the best tables!

This restaurant has the best views in Positano (as does the hotel) and the food and service were excellent. We enjoyed a meal and a bottle of wine during our stay at the hotel California and the restaurant did not disappoint. Some different local dishes (squid and pasta) are definitely worth trying. Would recommend, make sure to make a reservation.

An absolutely beautiful meal and a lovely evening.
We had a free appetiser which were cod croquettes and they were Devine.
We ordered the octopus to start to share between 2 and it was incredible, so nicely cooked
We had the chicken and bacon roll and tuna for mains which were absolutely amazing. The best Tuna I’ve ever eaten, did not want the plate to end!
Had tiramisu and lemon delight for dessert, both beaut but 100% got to try the lemon one - incredible !
View was absolutely stunning
So well priced based on quality of food and Positano is very expensive

This place is fantastic. If you’re lucky enough to get a table overlooking the sea views . Even if you don’t the service is attentive and the food is packed with flavours, textures and colours.

Really lovely place, spectacular food, I had grilled octopus on a pea purée with bacon shards , chicken roll for main and something chocolate for desert.

The staff is very friendly, the restaurant is quiet with a beautiful view of Positano. The food is delicious. I recommend this restaurant.

Hands down the best dinner we’ve had in Positano. We came for our honeymoon and they surprised us with a lovely and romantic dinner set up for dinner with roses and all. The staff went above and beyond with good service, friendly, and accommodating. Absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful view, good atmosphere, and most important delicious food.

Best restaurant in Positano, went here for lunch without a reservation and was welcomed by the waiter. Really friendly service and great food! Quite a steep climb to get to but well worth it to get lovely scenic views of Positano. Grazie!

Incredible restaurant. The view is breathtaking and the food impeccable. The staff is welcoming and makes you feel special and at home. There is not a single bad thing about the place. The prices are very reasonable as well. I would definitely recommend!

What an incredible view at dusk. Book a table for 8pm and make sure to get one in front. Then enjoy the incredible food, the very friendly waiters and lovely wines. The sun slowly settling is just magical when the lights in the houses sre turned on. This is what Positano is known for.
