Fabbrica Pienza

Beautiful winery in the countryside. 5 of us arrived on bikes without a reservation on a Monday. Our server was the only staff working that day, so we chose to sit outside with some bottles of wine for a couple hours. Alessandro, our server, was excellent despite being busy with other reservations. He gave us great information on each of the wines, and gave us a quick tour of the fermentation process. We would recommend to anyone in the area.

Just LOVED this winery! If you wouldn’t love it for their absolutely great wine, tasting, or tour, then you would definitely love it for the winemaker Tim and his amazing wife(?) Amandine. We had the tasting with Amandine, who told us everything about the winery’s history, architecture, philosophy after which we brought home more bottles than expected (worth it ;)) thank you for a lovely day!

Came to Tuscany specifically for wine tasting and this was one of the best. Biodynamic with great complexity and essentially no extraneous flavors or defects to distract or overpower. Able to tell the difference flavor-wise between grapes from specific parts of their vineyard. No chemicals and no sugar. Aged in older oak which may not be traditional for the region but is definitely is my preference. Wish I could give 6 stars.

Very unique! Definitely not like the other wineries in the area, which makes it fun to try. Grounds were beautiful and the tour was great!

Beautiful, modern winery with views of Pienza, Monte Amiata, and the surrounding hillsides. We've visited a few times and are always impressed by the warm hospitality. We've always felt welcome, even when arriving towards the end of their opening hours or interrupting another group's tasting appointment.

The tours and tastings are customized to your level of knowledge, interest, and time, and do not sound like canned speeches unlike at some other wineries. The pours are generous, and the wines (and olive oils) are excellent. Fabbrica has struck the balance of being a closely-held, family-owned winery, but professionally run by a team who is clearly passionate about their wine. You can tell a lot of thought went into the design of the winery and tasting rooms, with every detail considered, and that also shows through in their approach to winemaking.

Highly recommend making an appointment or just walking in!

A beautiful modern vineyard with delicious wines. I visited here during the summer and had a wonderful experience. Everything has a modern and luxurious ambiance.

Beautiful new winery. We didn’t plan anything, but we felt very welcome! We did a mini wine tasting before deciding to buy some bottles and really enjoyed the open and friendly interactions with the staff.

Incredible tour & tasting!!! The focus on natural wine really payed off. Not only is the architecture amazing but the wines are also one of the best I tried in a time. The host did an amazing job explaining us all the subtleties

A nice winery to visit for a tasting. The wines were of good quality. It was a fun and informative experience.

The wonderful host, Tim, squeezed us in last minute at the end of the day, we couldn’t have asked for a better tour. The winery itself is an architectural masterpiece, surrounded by incredible contemporary art. All of the wines were delicious and very reasonably priced. We hope to be back in November to try their fresh olive oil!

Great modern winery with very delicious wines. Owner was really friendly, and explained all the details about the wine proposed. Wine itself is really great, we enjoyed it a lot.

What a wonderful experience! Dadía was a patient and kind teacher and the wine was absolutely amazing! The grounds are peaceful and beautiful, exactly what you would want with a Tuscany wine experience. Not to mention the building for the tasting was stunning. The attention to detail, even down to the coasters, was perfect. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Also, make sure to ask about the olive oil! Leaving with four bottles!

Our group of 5 spent a lovely morning at Fabbrica. Our wonderful host was very knowledgeable and friendly. We enjoyed a tour and wine-tasting. Highly recommend Fabbrica as a relaxing stop in Tuscany!

We turned up without a booking for a tasting. Thomas the host accommodated us when he didn't have to. He spoke at length and in great detail about the wines and how they were made and we ended up buying a few bottles of their wine as a result of how well we were hosted. If you are sick of chianti and montepulciano sangiovese wines, this winery is making new fresh and exciting varietals that are full of flavour and of a very high standard. Probably the best winery I visited in Tuscany and I don't say that lightly. I have been tasting Australian Wines for 15 years and Fabricca make a very very good few reds and whites.

Fabbrica hosted a pre wedding day wine tasting event for me. Gennaro and Tim were so helpful from start to finish and went out of their way on the day. It was such an awesome event. The 5 wines were all very unique and were some of the best I have ever tried. The building is an architects dream and the views are special. Highly recommended for top class wines and a wine tasting event.

Simply delightful experience. We arrived not knowing what to expect and we were pleasantly surprised. The sommelier made us feel like home and explained everything with detail. The newton bianco (white wine) was out of this world! We would recommend it without a doubt.

We were having a lovely time at the tour with Thomaso, the wines and the olive oil were so good, the building itself and the design in general are very modern and well made. Would recommend for anybody!

My boyfriend and I stopped here on the drive from Florence to Rome. Newer winery owned by a Swiss couple. The gentleman that gave us the tour (can’t remember his name!) was so warm and friendly. The tour was very personalized and we really enjoyed it. Wine was excellent.
