A necessary after playing under the sun, after lunch or dinner stop. Any time is a great time for authentic gelato. It was splendid, audibly gasped after my first taste😍. It is almost supernaturally creamy and the flavors are amazing. Pistacchio puro Sicilia, Limoncello or if you are into new flavours, try the Tropea Onion.

Fresh fragola granita to cool us down in a hot day. Sweet and delicious! Limone granita also refreshing. Outside seating, but had a slight breeze.

Best gelatto in town by far, we tried it the first night and come back every day after.
Every flavour of icecream truly a piece of art.

This place absolutely rips. Couldn’t even take pictures of my gelato it was so good. Get fior di latte and nocciola, also super cheap

Enjoyed a tartufo and an espresso. Friendly service, nice location away from the busy town center. Can't comment on tartufo, as it's my first time trying it. Was happy to receive a glass of water without asking, which never happens in London. Recommend!

Have a sweet tooth so this ice cream really did it for me. Went back the next day for more, very nice and accommodating workers and overall had a good experience. It’s a little down in the square so it was very convenient and close to a restaurant I went to for dinner.

Best ice cream in Tropea! We come here every time we come to Tropea. Nero Tartufo is a must have and best you can find in town. It’s not only about the ice cream but also about people. Such family owned businesses, where attitude and quality matters, makes us feel like you came to visit old friends who are always happy to see you.

Nice staff, they didn't speak any English but you can make it work with some very basic Italian, so it's no problem. We had affogato and some ice cream, can't say anything bad about either.

Went here last night for an ice cream with my Mum. Friendly and professional staff and great ice creams (I had the tartufo ice cream and my Mum had the Rocher ice cream which were delicious). Highly recommended! :)

Great ice cream, big choice of tastes, prices similar to other places- 2,5€ for 2 scoops, 4,5€ for 4 scoops or brioche with 3 scoops

We loved this place, and visited it daily whilst in Tropea. Nice outdoors terrace, great coffee, friendly people and excellent ice cream. As my travel friend David would say: ideale!

Very large selection of flavours and great service. As well as all the essentials, they also sell interesting alternative flavours such as caramelised onion, olive etc. which may sound intimidating but are actually very delicious!!

This is an enjoyable bar gelateria with an amazing range of ice-cream. The space outside allows everyone to seat and enjoy liking away!

The rocher and chocolate is amazing! My son loves the fragola (strawberry) and their extra dark chocolate and noicolla is incredible. Definitely worth multiple visits!!
