Picanha Tropea Restaurant Steak House

Everything about this place was fantastic! The owner is extremely knowledgeable and takes great pride in the food he serves. The employees were friendly and attentive! One of the best steaks I have ever had! The wine list is also incredible!

If you are craving steak this is this best place in town!! Delicious food, friendly staff, you can walk or drive to this restaurant it has its own parking lot. Kids friendly. Highly recommended this place.

The food here was beautiful. Came out very fast, the service was fantastic we were recommended a bottle of wine and it was absolutely fantastic.

My wife and I recently had dinner here. The food was amazing (we shared the lamb appetizer and the tomahawk) both were cooked to perfection. The service was just as good as the food! Our waiter made great recommendations for wine and dinner and the owner stopped at our table to see how we enjoyed our meal and was very kind. If you’re in Tropea and interested in a proper steak for dinner, make sure to visit here! You will not regret it.

I traveled throughout Italy, and I can guarantee that this is the best steak restaurant I've eaten at in the country.

As a Brazilian, this picanha is comparable to the best churrascarias we have in Brazil, it's perfect.

Additionally, we were pleasantly surprised by the deliciously seasoned rice and beans, with a taste of Brazil. There were also potatoes, sausage, and a platter of cold cuts as appetizers, all impeccable.

I would also like to praise the service. We were treated with care by the owner, who is not Brazilian but a sympathizer of the culture. He, the waiters, and even the chef who came out to introduce himself were extremely kind and polite.

I recommend everyone, from all cultures and palates, to try this restaurant. I am certain it will be an incredible and delicious experience.

This is the best steakhouse we've been to in Italy. The host is a very nice man where you can really laugh. Our kid also enjoyed his company. We can really recommend to visit this place, it's even a must when you're in Tropea

We had a very enjoyable meal at Picanha. The T-bone was so tender. The Calabrian wine, sides and tiramisu all delicious.

I came to this restaurant because the reviews said it was really good and it did not disappoint! Everything about it was amazing. The staff was very friendly, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere was wonderful! If I ever find myself in Tropea again, I will be sure to make a reservation at this restaurant.

Was more than we expected, the food was excellent. Mi bf asked for the ribs with bbq and I, as a vegetarian ordered the veggie table, OMG they put the same effort as they did for the meat. I strongly recommend going to this place.

Amazing tri-lingual, friendly staff informing us about the multiple types of perfectly cooked meats. What more do I need to say. My favourite restaurant not only in Tropea but anywhere. We went for the unlimited sword and could not get over how delicious everything was. Stop reading this review and just experience it yourself, cannot recommend enough.

(About 5 months late) First off, go here. I was greeted by the owner and I told him I've worked in restaurants for 7 years and he treated me better than I've ever been treated in a restaurant. He told me his story of studying and cooking across many lands, he told me how people thought creating a steakhouse in Tropea was a little crazy but here he is. He gave me a tour of his kitchen and his philosophy and how he gets and prepares his meats and food. It was a phenomenal experience that I didn't expect in the charming town of Tropea in Southern Italy! One of the best steaks I've ever had! The Waygu steak I believe it was called and just beautiful thank you and hopefully see you again soon!

Pabloa, the owner was accommodating and friendly. His food recommendations were spot on as the menu was a bit challenging to navigate if you did not read Italian. They were able to accommodate our group 7 without a reservation. Highly recommended this restaurant if you are in the Tropea area
