La Caravella Positano

We loved our stay at this hotel! The most perfect position. Just a 5 minute flat walk to the hotel which is unheard of in Positano! It was right on the beach which also had a private deck chair area. The staff/ owner were so lovely and kind! The hotel was clean and the view was spectacular! Highly recommend!!!

Words cannot describe our experience at La Caravella Positano. It was fantastic. When we arrived, we were kindly received by dear Mrs. Rosa. She is really kind and very funny. Our check-in went super fast. When we arrived at our suite, we couldn't believe our eyes. Very authentic Italian furnishings. The beautiful tiles in our suite really gave us a holiday feeling. The suite itself was so spacious. An upper and lower floor. The bed was great. I sleep better here than at home. Also above a toilet, really mega luxurious. Everything we needed was in the suite. Pans, cutlery, towels, soap, dryer and so on. And a lovely spacious balcony where we often sat in the evenings to eat fruit with a GREAT view of the sea. Wifi signal is also strong, I was able to make video calls with my family while I was on vacation. The cleaners cleaned every day, we received new towels and a new bed cover. Very hygienic. The hotel is also just a few meters from the beach. This was also the reason I booked here because all other hotels require you to walk 1 million stairs. Absolutely not at La Caravella Positano. You can be in the water in no time and back at your hotel in a few seconds. They also have private beds for the beach, it couldn't be better. I have had a lot of contact with Mario via email. A super nice man, who responds very quickly to emails. He gave me lots of tips and suggestions for activities, restaurants & much more. He can also arrange everything for you (taxis, etc.). Mario is really a great person. Our 7 day long stay was perfect thanks to Rosa & Mario & La Caravella Positano. You are a dream! I really recommend this hotel.

Was super skeptical about staying here and almost had a fit when I figured out it was booked for 2 nights… but honestly couldn’t fault it at all. Rosa was lovely to deal with, limited English but enough to get the message across, rooms were awesome to stay in and beds were comfy. Had no problems checking in and checking out. For sure would stay again because it made Positano all that much more enjoyable

Perfect! Location is the best, right on the Beach front of Positano.
We could watch the world go past from our terrace or head to the beach 1 min away to cool and admire the gorgeous scenery. Rosa was so friendly and helpful with everything from car transfers to and from the accommodation, to places to eat and see. Highly recommend a stay here .

Being my 1st time in Positano and booking in this hotel, the Caravella is one amazing place to stay in, Rosa the hotel attendant was friendly, helpful and funny. You will only need a hotel to rest and sleep while in Positano and this place is great, has its own place to lay down and tan if you don't want to venture out to the beach, there are 2 restaurants on each side of the hotel and a bar on the beach with amazing and entertaining staff, not to mention great drinks and reasonable prices. The rooms are clean, homey, all but the 4th floor have balconies that will let you enjoy great beach view. Positano is up and down stairs, like you will really have a work out, and if you are to stay somewhere you are best to stay by the beach. You have the town's famous Fly Lounge Bar and Music on the Rocks within walking distance, the main church also within walking distance and the pear where you can grab a boat to Capri. I 100% + 10% more recommend this place. if you don't book a shuttle from and to the airport, closest one is Naples, they can accommodate one for you for 130 euros 1 way. there is a 2 euro tax you will have to pay per day you stay. above all contact la Caravella and let Rosa accommodate you in a great room and have a great experience.

Location is what makes this place most memorable. Front of the beach. Perfect location to gaze the Positano and sea at a same time. Restaurants are near by. Very basic kitchen but helpful.
Mario and Rossa are very helpful. Incase you need anything they will surely help you.

You pay for the location. Just 3 min walk from port.
Rooms with Balcony are best

La Caravella is located right on the main beach in Positano. The rooms were spacious and the air conditioning was fantastic. Rosa, the host was very helpful. Even though she spoke very little English she went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Highly recommend!

My friend ans I stayed at la caravella for a few nights recently and it was lovely! The rooms had air conditioning and it was much needed during our stay as it was a very hot few days. The room had a balcony that opened right up to the sea. Walking distance to the best beach spot in Positano. The rooms were spacious and so was the bathroom. Plenty of seating. Felt very authentic! Hotel was clean. I'm not sure why these reviews are so negative. I really enjoyed my time here. The manager Rosa was very kind. She helped us with porters for luggage and secure a private driver to and from Naples. She didn't speak much English (and we aren't fluent in Italian), she was patient as we worked with our translation app. I will be returning to the spot!

In our stay in Positano we decided to stay in La Caravella! And I’m so glad we did! This place is the best, I really don’t understand how it has bad reviews! First of all the location is AMAZING, and you can’t beat the price! No going up and down stairs with ur luggage and bags, it’s right on the beach. Making its location one of the best things of this place! Our ferry dropped us off and it was a 3 minute walk to the place. The place has Lounge chairs in the front, which is amazing because you don’t have to pay the 25€ Sun bed fee of the Positano beach. We simply left our things in the Caravella sun beds and went for a dip in the beach. We had a room in the bottom floor facing the outside and it was great waking up every morning to such a great view. (Photo reference of the view right outside the residence)
The service was also great they come every morning to fix your bed and give fresh new towels and toilettres. The hotel manager Rosa greeted us in the front, and allowed us to leave our stuff in the back as check in is at 1! Such a nice lady, very sweet and helpful, she’s there every morning and night to greet the guest

I dont understand why people left bad reviews! People were saying that it was too noisy and I completely disagree. Of course you would hear people talk outside here and there but nothing too bad! Again I had such an amazing experience at this place and if I’m ever in Positano again I will be sure to book this place ! Thank you Rosa! 💗

Io e mia sorella abbiamo deciso di fare un weekend toccata e fuga a Positano. Cercando su internet ci siamo imbattute nel residence la Caravella che ci ha subito colpito.....Ma l'esperienza ha superato di gran lunga le aspettative!!! Proprio sul lungo mare, location e camere belle e caratteristiche, dotato di ogni comfort e di una spiaggetta privata con lettini già compresi nel prezzo! La signora Rosa e il suo staff sono stati gentilissimi, cortesi e sempre disponibili! Sperando di tornare presto a Positano saremo sicuramente di nuovo ospiti della Caravella! 숙소 위치 정말 최고입니다!! 👍🏻👍🏻
해변 바로 앞에 위치해 있고, 숙소 바로 앞에는 music bar도 있어서 공짜로 좋은 음악까지 들을 수 있어요. 포지타노에 이보다 좋은 위치의 숙소가 있을까 싶은 정도입니다.
에어컨, 냉장도 모두 구비되어있어요.

체크인 할때 숙소 입구찾기가 조금 힘드실 수 있는데, 노란색 큰 건물이 숙소이고, 숙소를 바라보고 왼쪽에 있는 레스토랑과 숙소 사이에 입구가 있습니다. 그 철로 된 문으로 들어가시면 나오는 곳이 숙소입니다!

호스트는 rossa 라는 할머니이신데, 영어를 엄청 잘하시진 못하지만 최대한 친절하고 쉽게 설명해주시려고 노력해요. 체크아웃날 porter 서비스 이용하고 싶다고 하니까 예약도 다 해주셨어요.

후기 안좋은 내용이 많아서 걱정했는데, 정말 좋았습니다. 너무 아름답고 좋은 최고의 숙소였어요. 저희는 방도 업그레이드 해주셨습니다.

The location of the accommodation is really the best!! 👍🏻👍🏻
It is located right in front of the beach, and there is a music bar right in front of the accommodation, so you can listen to good music for free. I wonder if there is a better accommodation than this.

Nos hospedamos cuatro noches en la caravella y han estado muy bien!! La habitación hermosa, con bella vista y terraza balcón. Muy cómoda y luminosa. Muy buena ubicación, sobre todo si llegas en ferry, a 3 minutos caminando de allí. Se encuentra frente a la playa. Tanto Rosa como Chiara han sido muy amables y han estado atentas a nuestras necesidades!! Sea cambiar toallas, darnos más elementos de baño o a la limpieza. Recomiendo y volvería!

Veramente un anholo di Paradiso! Piacevolmente sorpresi! bagno ristrutturato da poco, stanza molto curata e pulita con mattonelle stupende e una vista mozza fiato! La spiaggia enorme proprio ai nostri piedi! In più la presenza di Rosa che ci ha colorato il soggiorno  Raccomandata a cuore aperto, noi torneremo!! Nicoletta

Fantastica struttura nel cuore di Positano
Insieme alla mia fidanzata abbiamo scelto di soggiornare presso "La Caravella".
Già dalla prenotazione abbiamo ricevuto un'assistenza da parte di professionisti,capaci di consigliarci in modo eccellente per tutta la permanenza.
Camera vista mare spaziosa e luminosa e pulitissima , con tutti i confort necessari,la posizione della struttura sul mare permette di vivere il paesaggio esclusivo di Positano.
Il punto forte della struttura è la spiaggia privata dell'albergo che da un tocco di classe alla vacanza.Spiaggia attrezzata di ombrelloni sdraie e tavolini.
Bellissimo il welcome da parte dello staff.

포지타노는 아름다움 그 자체입니다. 여름에는 수영하기 좋고 상점 해변 모든 것을 갖추었고 햇볓과 깨끗한 공기가 정말 천국같습니다. 카프리섬이나 아말피등의 명소로 이동하기 좋습니다. 그러나 렌트카로 오신다면 급커브구간이 많고 위험하니 초보운전자분들은 운전을 피하시는 것이 좋습니다.
