We had a terrific day today, exploring the Amalfi Coast by car and boat. Our driver was a real character and kept us entertained from the very start. Fortunately his driving skills were far better than his jokes, which was good because the Amalfi Coast roads are a bit scary.

Very disappointed situation with a beach in Positano. Dark grey sand with enormous amount of people onboard and huge empty spaces for boats. Petrol dirty air. Terrible. Look and feels like on the busy train station. It doesn’t cost that money to take a room. If you don’t have 100 euros per person for a chair, don’t go there, especially with kids, even there, you will swim with thousands of boats around.
