Grotta di tre archi

This cave is a passage between one side of the mountain and the other, but it's in the water!

You can reach it by coming from the west side of the mountain and surrounding it from the left, and then entering the Lido and walking along the beach towards the east.

The cave is beautiful to see (you dont have to be in swimwear for that) and also to pass through (for that you do) but there are some omportant notes:

1. Depending on the month, time of day and sea conditions - the water in the cave can be shallow and walkable or deeper.
DO NOT ENTER or try to pass to the other side if it's a rough or dangerous sea!

2. It's better to wear flip-flops or sandals when walking towards the cave (on the beach) because the sand is a bit rough (small stones that aren't comfortable to walk on). You can leave your shows on the shore and proceed barefoot inside the cave.

3. Once inside the cave you can pass through the other side by swimming and see the long sandy beach of Tropea, as well as the big cave. You can swim there and visit the cave, it's nice!

4. You can also climb the rock and jump to the water - at your own risk of course. It's not too high and many local kids do it.

Piccola grotta quasi sommersa dall'acqua caratterizzata da splendidi giochi di luce e conformazioni rocciose suggestive per l'appunto ad archi.
Questa grotticina è anche una piccola scorciatoia per raggiungere senza difficoltà la grotta del palombaro.
Nel periodo di alta stagione questa piccola grotta è un vero casino, intasata a piu non posso di turisti che rendono quasi impossibile fare una foto decente.
Suggerisco la visita nelle prime ore del mattino.

Desátý den v italském ráji, který připomíná Karibik! Už jako malý kluk jsem miloval objevovat zajímavá místa, a tady se mi plní sny. Dnes jsem se odvážil s paddleboardem dál na moře, abych viděl všechny ty skryté jeskyně a odlehlé pláže. Měl jsem s sebou potápěcí masku a cestou jsem si prohlédl i krásy pode mnou.
