Camping Royal

we loved this campsite SO much!

all the sites by the lake were booked.. lucky for us!

the owners are awesome. we brought a small dog and they were fine with that, having a small dog themselves. they have a bar open in the summer, close to a small yet perfect new pool. my kids loved the refreshing clean swim.

we were very close to the lake (and had a view). rented a nice and clean cabin. at the same time close to unique towns and delicious restaurants.

simple place but absolutely perfect for us.

We stay’d here for two days, toilets and shower are nice and clean. Owner of camping is very friendly. You can walk in 30 min to the lake. We are coming back.

After a long day with some bad luck with our motorhome, we arrived after calling in. Unfortunately, meanwhile the campground was fully booked. The owner saved our lives by letting us stay nonetheless and improvising a spot. That is Hospitality with a capital H. As for the campground, facilities are great, location beautiful, coffee perfect.

Came here first time with people who visited multiple times before. They were raving about the campsite, and now i know why. The place is lovely. The staff super friendly. The facilities are fine. The view over lago d'Orta and the mountains surrounding is just stunningly beautiful.

The site is situated on a winding small road up the hill, be cautious with large vehicles. Groceries are available at the foot of the hill in a large supermarket (Conad).

For a quiet lovely holiday in beautiful Italy, much recommended.

A beautiful camping, very meticulously maintained. Facilities sparkling clean. Paolo, the owner/manager is a very friendly, welcoming man. We come to this place since 20 years, almost every year. Location is dreamy. Our home away from home.

Very nice site with well laid out flat pitches, plenty of trees, basic but clean facilities, 30 minutes walk to the lake, there is a restaurant one minute up the hill from the site.

Lovely little campsite with amazing view! Paolo, the owner, is really the friendliest helpful person. And there is a supernice pool. Showers facilities are nice.

Paulo and staff are fantastic, site is beautiful, Showers are 20p for 3 mins !!!! pool is great for the kids ! and view takes your breath away every morning. We never stopped smiling!!

Personnel très serviable et aidant sur tout. Le service au bar est au top.
Les parties communes sont très bien entretenues. Lors de notre passage les gens étaient très respectueux de ces espaces et laissaient les douches, toilettes et linge propre après leur passage.
Nous avions une super belle vue sur le lac et sur l’île ce qui est un vrai avantage. Un superbe resto juste au dessus du camping est à faire aussi !!!
Les cloches de l’église sont assez surprenantes mais on s’y habitue 😃
La piscine est un vrai plus, on ne s’y est pas baigné mais c’est très sympa pour les familles.

Sehr schöner Campingplatz mit Aussicht auf den See. Alles gut ausgestattet, sei es Tischtennisplatte, Tischkicker, Spülbecken, etc.
Man wird freundlich empfangen trotz später Ankunft.
Das einzige was auszusetzen ist, ist dass es kein leckeres Trinkwasser gibt.

Mooie, fijne kleine camping met een prachtig uitzicht en vriendelijk personeel.

De camping ligt wat verder van het meer af wat ook gelijk een heerlijke rust geeft.

Het zwembad is niet groot maar voldoet prima om af te koelen op een warme dag.
Iedere morgen zijn er lekkere verse broodjes, die een dag van te voren moeten worden besteld.
Een klein terras waar prima pizza's te bestellen zijn en wat gedronken kan worden.

Soms wordt er iets georganiseerd; in de anderhalve week die wij er waren een waterpolo-avond en een karaoke.

De eerste avond is het even wennen dat de kerkklok zo dichtbij slaat maar dat verandert al snel in een week zonder horloge. Ideaal!!!

Zeker een plek waar wij waarschijnlijk terug gaan komen!

Wil je geen mierenhoop, 1001 glijbanen en krijsende kinderen? Dan is is dit een fijne camping. Heerlijk rustig en toch voldoende voor kindjes. Paulo (de eigenaar) & staff zijn zeer behulpzaam en dat is een flinke meerwaarde.

Ik lees dat mensen last hebben van de kerkklok. Wij hebben die thuis ook, dus daar storen wij ons niet aan.

In de middag is er siësta. Alles dicht. In het begin even wennen. Eenmaal gewend, begrijp je waarom. 😎 🧘🏼‍♀

Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug!

Beau camping avec une vue magnifique sur le lac d’Orta. Notre mobilhome, vue sur le lac, était propre, spacieux et équipé d’une climatisation. Un vrai bonheur!! Une équipe chaleureuse qui est à l’écoute, attentionnée et facilitante. Le bar proposé est, un plus, où nous pouvons manger des pizzas et boire de délicieux spritz. Nous recommandons +++
