Pieve Mirabella

We have visited Pieve Mirabella three times over the years, and can’t wait to back. The place is a dream come true, and feels like our home away from home. The lovely family who owns the house makes sure our stay is none less than perfect. They greet us with friendlyness, an amazing apertivo, answer every silly question we might have, help us organize trips to nearby wineries, and even offers an excellent pasta making class with Stefania. They take great pride in making sure their house and garden is kept nice, and descretly maintain the garden every morning. Some days they even provide us with freshly picked vegetables from their garden. This is the sweetest family!

The view from the garden is amazing, and they have plenty of stuff to do there; table tennis, boccia, an outdoor gym and off course a clean, cooling swimming pool.

Citta Della Pieve is just a short walk away, and is the most beautiful old town with great restaurants and charming buildings. As the house is located in Umbria, but very close to Tuscany, visiting wineries is a must. There are plenty to chose from.

We had the pleasure of staying at Pieve Mirabella for our honeymoon, and wow was it perfect!

When we arrived at the house we were greeted by the entire family, and they had prepared a beautiful lunch for us (that we didn’t even ask for). We also had the pleasure of booking the owners of the house in to make a classic Italian dinner for us, this was an amazing experience that we definitively recommend. During dinner they also arranged a classic musician for us (Paolo we love you <3!), we would definitively recommend this as well.

The house itself is well kept, large and has great accommodations. The garden is beautiful, with an amazing view over Citta Della Pieve and Umbria/Tuscany. You can also use the vegetables, herbs and fruits from the garden when you make food. Citta Della Pieve is a short walk from the house, so a car is definitively not needed.

Overall staying at Pieve Mirabella was an amazing experience and we would definitively recommend visiting.

This was the second time we stayed at the gorgeous Pieve Mirabella. This summer we stayed two weeks. How sad we were to leave. This home is a dream! The house is spacious, clean and very comfortable. The location is the true highlight. From the beautiful pool/patio area you can see the town of Citta Della Pieve on one side (a quick and fun walk into town) and the valley with extensive views on the other. We spent many evenings sipping wine on the terrace watching the sunset over the valley and the moon rise over the town. It was so perfect that it did not seem real. The family that owns the home could not be more attentive and helpful. They take extreme pride in their home and attend to every tiny detail. We cannot recommend Pieve Mirabella enough.

Lucia, Stefano e Stefania, sono dei proprietari di casa davvero accoglienti. La struttura offre tutto ciò di cui una persona in cerca di relax ha bisogno,una vista mozzafiato su Città della Pieve, un giardino fiorito, e un bel barbecue con pergolato dove gustare le prelibatezze locali. L'appartamento al suo interno è molto spazioso e pulito, il letto dotato di topper davvero molto comodo. Super consigliato.
